Men can't get past the past of a woman. I am just a gay woman with plenty of male friends, and my male friends are hung up on a woman's past more than anything. If said woman was an adult entertainer in the past, and now has her own successful hair supplies business, majority of my male friends are like 'naw, I am good.'

Jemele is on point. Actually, an ex-husband is just a person that she dated in the past. You don’t have to deal with him again. However, a baby’s father will be there for life. Baseball games, birthday parties, graduation and graduation parties, marriage, grandkids together. Trust Bruh you have know clue until you are in that situation.

Me and my husband were married before so we both have ex spouses. But THANK GOD neither of us has kids w/our ex spouses, however, his ONLY child is 22 and out on his own, so no baby momma contact is necessary. But she's respectful of our marraige when they do NEED to talk. But I never wanted to date anyone w/kids BECAUSE ALL TOO OFTEN, too many BABY MOMMAS ARE AN ISSUE for whatever reason smh.
And I certainly hope Mel washed her face before she fell asleep lol

Hubby analyzing this sutuation too much. I'm not marrying anyone with a child unless that child is fully grown. I'm not dealing with baby mama or daddy drama. Hubby is stuck on the booty smh!

Okay, this is difficult because I can see both sides of this. Plus, as one who has been a single mother for 35 years, perhaps I'm biased? Not sure. BUT, I am _slightly_ leaning toward Jemele's viewpoint on this one, but I _Understand_ Wood's viewpoint more. Everything depends on the circumstances. If you have a child, is the baby's father in the picture? If not, then it is easier to marry that person because YOU become the father of that child. I understand Wood's point because the entire time we are planning our wedding, if you were previously married, I would constantly be thinking "this isn't the first time he's had that opinion." So, with me being a woman, I would also rather marry a man who has a child, but has never been married -- ONLY if the mother of the child is dead or has remarried. 🤔🤔🤔
