Huge fan of b&w photography. Love the perspectives you got. I’m going to be in London around the middle of May. Looking forward to getting out with my x100v.
Seeing your video sent me to the Barbican today. So much to discover and fun to be had. A dull overcast day, b&w a good call. Also as a tourist spot, people don't mind you walking rounding with your camera round your neck. (X-T20 with 27/2 voitlander and 18/2 fuji.) Nice video, well done. Subscribed
@@Opticalwander Will be visiting London for the first time in about 20yrs later this year. Thanks to your videos I now know a lot of cool spots to hit. Will see if I can find some good puddles as well xD
Just the best there is. You are the reason I got into photography. And my god you find a way to portray everyday things into museum worthy masterpieces. 👏🙏🤘
i watch a lot of pov, and usually not impressed with most of what they're taking but i have to say that i generally like the images you're getting ... well done!
It’s crazy how far you end up walking isn’t it 😂 think the most I did was close to 45km in a day then wondered why I didn’t want to get out of bed the next day 😂
You shot with the X100V and today i was shooting with my Xpro-1 and the 7Artisans 25 mm lens Well I loved the video and the shots Maby you can get your hands on an old Fuji like the XE-1 or the Xpro-1 It’s so much fun to use these old Fuji cameras that came out a long time ago with the first X Trans sensor …
@@Opticalwander But didn't you change "Clarity: +1"? because, in my experience, every time I don't use "Clarity: 0" I get a "storing" message after each click
Nice video. But so many photographers on You Tube never use a camera strap. And when you had the camera over the wall at Barbican Station, I was just waiting for you to drop it!
I don’t make a habit of letting go of things I hold and the main reason I don’t use a strap during these types of videos the strap gets in the way of the video being watched so is annoying for the viewer. Only time I wear a strap is doing roller shots for car photography.
I would love to do something like this the X100V is way out of my budget though, are there cheaper alternatives that you would recommend? obviously they wont be as good as the X100V
@@harryithinkohh that’s sick! I think I could explore black and white film so I develop it myself at home but I’d need to learn that. But maybe in the future ❤
Yeah battery life on Fuji is not made for always on shooting. The newer batteries are better, but for some reason they didn’t put it into the newest X100 I think.
Feeling absolutely inspired to make some pov video after this. And overall more inspired for UA-cam after watching! I also was not subd, which shows how bad I am on here!!!!
I was the same at first, you kind of end up focusing on the frames etc and forget about everyone else. If people come up to me now I have a chat but initially I didn’t 🫡
Love the film look, such good photos!

Soo Cool! Happy shooting with your X100V. Greetings from Oslo!
Love this video vintage optical wander, I’m back in London in a couple of weeks and this has inspired me, so thanks Sam
Thank you 🙏 hope you enjoy your outing 📸
I love the size and result of the camera! Thats so great! Thank you for Sharing ✌🏼
Black&White photography looks so unreal, but cool. It's one of the reasons why it's brilliant.
Very good video!
[I am preparing photos in colour.]

Great to see these videos back :)
Class content as always
Some very nice shots there. Very nice.
I love that you even know where the perfect puddles should be :'D Great shots all around. Been really enjoying your POVs, they're very relaxing.
Thank you 🙏 I think I’ve walked the streets of London too much 😂😂

Love your video’s, think i gonna start street photograpy video’s as well
Love your videos man. Went for a photography walk a few days ago and ended up walking almost 18km just taking photos.

Love the b&w shots my brotha! When are you coming to visit Washington DC?!!
I like the compositions but the photos look very unsharp, is that your preset doing that?
Black and White photography is always great. I like to think of the absence of color allows us to study and examine the photos differently.
100% I really love black and white and want to explore this format more! It allows me to think more about the photos and I really love that!

this was a top banana, great images.
Great video! Can you prepare a similar presets for Luminar Neo app? I'll buy it for sure!
Such a chill and nice Video!
Wich Recipe do you use to shoot b&w?
Hey, if you download the app fujiweekly and look for Kodak T-Max p3200 🫡 that’s what i used

Hey, great question! I would suggest the x100s which is a step down from the V but yields similar results. 🙏
@@Opticalwanderthank you!
What camera are you using as the POV camera? And how is it mounted on you?
I use the dji Osmo action 5 pro + snapmount 🫡
@ thank you legend🙏
do you ever do film photography man?
I’ve tried it in the past but honestly the cost is quite high so only do it when I really feel like it! If it was more affordable I would do it more 📸
@ ah yeah that’s fair enough, i love doing it but mainly because my college has a darkroom lmao
@@harryithinkohh that’s sick! I think I could explore black and white film so I develop it myself at home but I’d need to learn that. But maybe in the future ❤

Unbelievable! Not subscribed ? Pffft 😂 you should dude! It’s just a nice ways way to capture our shoots ❤️ UA-cam is calling you
My introverted ass would feel so uncomfortable doing this type of shooting. But the results are amazing.

Im sure after some minutes you would be so focused on photographing. Please try it out! Im sure you will make it ✌🏼
DSLR manufacturers should have one camera that takes only black and white for the BW purists. If I am not wrong, Leica has one.
Pentax has one. Exactly as you describe.
