Fast 85mm is special! Obviously your photos are good because of you, not the lens, I’m just saying 85mm has a look to it that I really like. I also really like your photos and edits!
I was so excited to see your new video again and of course you absolutely never disappoint! Somehow the episode had something very special I sadly just don't know why I had this feeling. Anyway it was super fun to watch you again. I like the way you talk to people who are a bit suspicious or even mad about you. I would like to learn something from your way to spreak to those people.
only just found this cvhannel having bought an OM-D E-M5 mk2 (my first Olympus and first mirrorless, having shot Canon for the last 20 years. Lots of nice Canon gear, nothing TOO elaborate, but new to Oly. I bought the 14-42mm, the 40-150mm, 7Artisans 2mm f1.7 and an adapter for an OLD Sigma 18mm f2.8 filtermatic (look it up). Street photography is new to me, but I'm trying with the Olympus, heading into Southampton today!
85mm focal length for full frame cameras is a great prime Lens, I do not need aperture 1.4 and I do not trust the reliability in the long run of Samyang lenses. I got (2023) the Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8 T* used for US $550 (taxes included) in excellent condition. The Lens is light and easy to handle, it is a joy to use and I can recommend it.
Great stuff - always looking out for other street photographers when im out in London. FYI Viltrox have recently released some more amazing lenses for less than £200 - will you do a video on the 56 1.7 or 20 1.2?
Personally, I really like lenses from Samyang. I'm thinking of buying the 135 1.8 version :D As for the challenge, I recommend visiting Poland and Krakow. I would like to see pictures of the main square in your style 😃
I shot this in 4:3 then the timeline I used was the ratio for a phone screen. Then expanded the 4:3 (getting full sensor video) into the aspect ratio I’m using. Shooting 4:3 allows me to crop for long form and short form from one video. ❤

The way you treated that lady was very cool, you earned a new sub! Sweet lens too, some good shots in the can. Cheers from Yorkshire

I’ve got the Samyang RF 85mm f/1.4 for my Canon and it’s my favourite prime! Such an underrated lens

Always great shots from sam 🫡
When you show your edited pics in the video it would be nice to know which of your presets you used as a base for editing.
Do you hold the camera by the lens to rest your hand because it’s just too front heavy?
When u are in the seconds of when the video was posted
Z8 or Sony A7RV ?
Hey man! Love the photos ! Would it be possible to make a video about how to edit night street photography or could I contact you?😊
Are you shooting auto?what mode?

@@Opticalwander Thank you!
Hongkong always so crowded. Sometimes a tele is really helpful. Else you might just get too many people and stuff going on in 1 single frame. Lol.
Heyy
