T2D officially begins when your poor insulin resistant liver starts making way too much glucose and your doctor notices. Of course you have been sick for 10 or 20 years at this point.

the translatig text is covering the slides. Can you put them under the optional menu?

They cover part of the slides. I just can’t watch nearly 2 hours of this even if the content is good.

Science question: some people gain weight until obese, morbidly obese, whatever, and then the weight stabilizes for a long time. Why does it stabilize?

for a friend, is keto or low carb good for gout?

    • @johnhogue9402

Some say that it is. I’m not sure if there’s any studies which explore this, however, so it’s just conjecture.

I read somewhere that uric acid rises initially when starting a ketogenic diet but settles down after a while. Assuming uric acid causes gout (although I really don’t believe any of the accepted medical advice on anything any more) then you might get a gout incident in the early days of a keto diet.

If he were verbose the presentation would be boring, all of Doc Bikman's presentations are very captivating. He goes the extra mile to explain details clearly
