- This is my 2006 Chrysler 300c that did not start the other day. I showed the steps I went through in order to diagnose why it would not start. I refer to the starting system wiring diagram in this video.
Thanks for watching, hopefully it will help you figure out why your car won’t start! - Авто та транспорт
Man, your videos are already invaluable to me. This 300 we bought seems to be suffering from most 300 issues going. Exactly the same situation as in this video tonight. I had a similar issue with a starter solenoid on a Volvo C70 years ago - will see tomorrow what the story is but at least I know what to look out for. Cheers!!
Thanks bro I really appreciate your comment!! Good luck with getting your car back to normal! Let me know if there’s anything you have questions about while trying to figure it out. 💯💯🤝
Thank you so much". OMG a two year hunt and it was this simple. Much respects
I’m happy to hear that it helped you out!!! :) thanks for the comment.. 💯💯🤝
Good job homie on diagnosis’s of the 12 volt system and the pins on relay nice
Thanks bro I appreciate the comment 💯💯
That's a new brunswick inspection sticker I see lol
Will that loose connector also cause intermittent starting?
Yes, this has been known to cause intermittent starting issues. 💯💯🤝
I see you're a bit of a Dodge fan, eh? Looks like you have every LX model. And is that a yellow Neon back there?
I had the same issue with the same exact symptom with my 05 Magnum. Checked everything, fuses, relays, starter. All good. Turned out to be a bad engine ground wire.
I guess so eh. Haha yes that neon was my first car. It just hangs out in the driveway now a days. 😂 thanks for the comment bro! Have a good one!! 💯🤝
Which engine ground wire was it?
@@xXxDjRhym3sxXx I can't really say. They all looked like they were connected correctly. I resolved it by making a new ground wire and connecting it from the inner fender to a bolt on the engine. I fried a wire to something in the process, so I replaced it also and everything worked.
Respect you
Thanks I appreciate your comment! 💯💯🤝
after washing my 300c 5.7 engine with pressure i got the same problem, not instantly but after few hours of driving i stoped and yeah engine would not even crank.
I have checked everything except starter connectors because i have shorted starter realy and starter works!, engine cranks but not starts!.
where shuld i look for the problem ?
Does any lights come on? Any DTCs? How does the ignition switch feel, normal, or loose? Hope you figure it out bro! If not hmu with some more details and I’ll try to help ya go in the right direction 💯🤝
@colin7761 everything as usual, i turn ignition, then trying to start the engine. radio turning off automatically, but engine just not crank. i don't know where else to check,
@@colin7761 DTC p6088
Check fuse 10 and 20. Make sure they are good. Find out what is missing from the relay circuit that is preventing the starter relay from engaging. Pins 85 and 86 at the relay will power the relay up. How exactly did you short the relay, did you power up the relay to see if it’s working? With the key on engine off, pin 85 at the fuse box should see positive. During crank 86 should see a negative. Good luck bro! 💯💯🤝
Hi bro Iam Patrick the one guy reply to ur 300 video my car why shutts off when Iam driving i change my pcm an egr valve maf sensor an mop sensor oxygen sensors an the throttle body
What codes does your car have bro, does it stall anytime or does it happen after filling up the tank?
Yea bro it turn off it gives me a limp mode
@@PatricioRamirez619 Daym bro. Do you have a code reader to see what codes are present? I’d also check under the hood and at the pcm and make sure no connectors or connections are loose
did you fix ur problem?I have a chrysler 300c 05 and it was shutting off and going into limp mode and also when i was pressing the gas pedal to an extent it felt like it was preventing mem i changed the throttle body and postiton sensor idk whatb else to do, it says it needs the ecm too be reprogrammed
Camshaft sensor
It would had been faster to put the asewave Uactave on it and send power to the starter and if it doesn't turn over then you would know its either the wire or starter simple
You mean aeswave? Because this video is for regular people looking how to figure it out at home. Not everyone has expensive professional equipment at their disposal. 🤷♂️ 🤦♂️ 💯💯
