    I bought two of them. I almost returned them when it was 35 days shipping, but as soon as they arrived, it was so worth it. I’ve done 110 miles this week with my 2 year old. I love it.

      @@robertkrueger5501it took 5 days before I got a tracking number and it took two days for FedEx to pick it up and it took 12 days to get it but you have to check to see if they’re out of stock that could be your problem. I have a friend that ordered five bikes and he still waiting on the tracking number.

      Last November my came in less than week, very well packed, Aipas A2 & Elite version w/ longer range battery like almost identical Lectric XP 3.0 foldable step-thru comes fully assembled, it’s one pound less weight 64 lbs than the benchmark Lectric but heavier than other benchmark in foldable e-bikes $1K and cheaper, Ride1Up Portola 51.4 lbs net weight & 59lbs with 7.6lbs 10.4Ah battery. I owned them both. Since later is lighter weight easier to fold/unfold and transport. For transport of your Aipas A2 use appropriate size plastic container and without lifting just slide the container w/ folded e-bike in the trunk using Chewy foldable car dog ramp.

    Got my bike in on Friday and I love it!! How did you get the mirror on though? I couldn’t figure it out. Great and detailed video.

      I cut a hole thru the grip to slide the mirror into the handlebar.

    Great video! This bike caught my eye and I watched the video to see if you had a more upright posture while riding this bike. I just rode 2 e-bikes my friend has and riding in a standard leaning forward pose wasn’t as relaxing. I’m curious about the throttle on this bike. One I rode still had some throttle available after the pedal assist maxed out. Can this bike be set up like that?

      I do not know... if I didn't cover it in the review, I didn't test it.

    I guess for me, I'd look to spend $100 more (sometimes $150 more depending on if there's a sale or not) for the Wildeway Fw11 3.0. That's the one I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on simply cause all the specs are about the same as this one except one major thing...the battery. This bike here is 10.4ah where the Wildeway is 32ah. That's 3x capacity.

    Hey man! Amazing video. I’m getting one Thursday and I’ve been searching for a video for a detailed review, and you did just that. Is there a way to get it faster than 20 MPH using only throttle?

    This is great - really good overview of this bike. I have a pair of these (hopefully) arriving tomorrow! Couple questions:
    1) Where did you get the battery charge chart you were using on your phone? That looks really useful!
    2) I noticed the throttle took you all the way to 20 mph regardless of the PAS mode you were in. Do you think this is due to you overriding it to Class 3 when testing? I.e. Would it have the same behavior in Class 2 mode, or would the throttle be restricted to PAS level?

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  15 днів тому

      I ride all my bikes a couple of miles before the review. This bikes throttle's max is 20mph, even in class 2. Also, here is link to the chart. Save it to your phone. forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/is-there-any-difference-in-voltage-between-two-48v-batteries-with-different-ah.41378/

    Excellent review. Hello from Toronto. If you think about having a 500w nominal motor, if the bike is light can be an advantage in certain circumstances. You may be able to get some better range. It may be more accessible to ride who are novices, when you have to repack the grease for the motor, it's a little bit easier. If you need to change a tire, due to the lightness of the rear tire, it's a bit better to deal with. Maybe a little easier to get into a vehicle or put it on a rack. It's also for sure legal in at least N. America, you're not rocking any boats, etc.

    Mine arrived a week ago and I love it, but I don't have a turn signal on either bike that was delivered and my seat does have markings for height. Seems like they're inconsistent in manufacturing, but for $674 a piece I can't complain.

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  2 дні тому

      I think they realized the turn signals were useless and used that savings for marked seat posts.

      @@scotthardesty Galaxy Bikes in China, which owns the AiPAS brand, is also the ODM that designed and manufactures the Lectric XP, so really AiPAS is stealing the design from itself. I think what happened is that Lectric went to Galaxy Bikes and asked for a bike of certain specs and Galaxy designed and manufactured it for them, but then Galaxy saw the sales numbers for the XP and decided to launch its own brand to sell a very similar bike to the North American market. The XP 3.0 has a stronger rear rack, a second passenger option and hydraulic brakes, and it has a nation-wide repair network, so the XP is still the better bike, but for people who want to save $300, the AiPAS A2 Elite is a good option.

    • @user-mz2kb7rj5q

      Aipas A2 is practically the same equipment and look as the foldable, step-thru Lectric XP 3.0 step-thru. Even some of the video suggested that Chinese Aipas is the one that make Lectric as well but selling for $300 cheaper which makes this e-bike one of the better value for your money money in this $1K and below price range. Go figure out with all these e-bike sold here and made in China?
