Laws are changing in places for cyclists to use common sense, being we require momentum, and were not in 4000 pound killing machines.. if there's no traffic use your discretion
What states have those laws? When traveling through the country with an RV I would sure like to know what place is allowed the bikes to continue out in front of me even though I may have the right away... it's been decades that they've been teaching everyone that bicyclists have to follow the same rules of the road as vehicles.. This is new information for most everyone..
Hi ..i am planning to buy this. I wanted to know the ease of removing and putting back the battery ..as my home is in 3rd floor i need to remove the battery to charge.
@@bagelboy5619 if you watch the video in its entirety, I guarantee that I covered if I was peddling or not. After doing many many bike reviews I make a point to cover that
It's different for us. The delivery was arranged by a third party. Every one of these e-bike manufacturers have fluctuations of delivery times based on Supply. Over the last few years we have had electric bikes delivered as fast as 3 days and at other times 3 weeks. Right now it's the peak season but I also believe that they, like others, some of our delivery delays though or based on FedEx. I have tracked shipping progress of some of these bikes and I can't believe how they boince them across the country in different directions.. it doesn't seem like that they're ever in a straight line coming directly to me. Lol
@codyasher7546 I ordered a m2 on a Thursday, didn't receive any updates so I sent them an email on Sunday(I know they don't work weekends) they responded Monday saying there was a delay because the A2 went on sale and they were trying to get those out because of the sale, Tuesday it said FedEx would deliver on Friday and it did get delivered on that Friday (I live in Pennsylvania) so it took bout a week
First off, you do a very nice job with your reviews. Always slow paced and informative. I have been watching this bike, and want to buy it. But I have been waiting for a real world review. I have 2 E bikes now, but want a class 3 bike. Mine are from 2 different companies, are budget bikes, and the motors are whisper quiet. I noticed during your ride I could hear the motors. Your thoughts, please, on this..... Also, at the start of your ride, you mentioned it is " it is a little bit smaller of a frame ". I guess not so much to be an issue with me, 6 Ft. 190 Lbs...The bike all in all looks very nice, and is a great buy for a class 3 ebike.
@davidnelson9448 yes.. I actually think that the tires are a little bit noisier once it's speed. The Harley-Davidson guys always talk about their bike being loud and that so other people around them can hear them when they're close so they pay attention. There's a bit of Truth to that when it comes to electric bikes and bike paths or walking trails. I don't know how many times I've snuck up behind somebody on a quiet electric bike and startled them when we passed them without announcing ourselves. So I'm not going to say that a little bit of noise is a bad thing. But my microphones are pretty darn sensitive that I use during the ride so you can imagine if you can hear birds chirping how loud the motor is.
Got another review coming up on their M2... because the C2 was that good. Let me be the first to tell you that it's just like anything else. You could potentially have issues with anything you buy.
No issues with it. There's too many variables to dictate how the bike will respond to the way you ride it, store it and use it versus the way I do. And the way electric bikes work is they are limited to a certain speed. If that speed limit can be met with a heavy Rider on it then that means anybody lighter than that Rider can also reach that speed. It's not like internal combustion engines.
@@Rvdaydream Yeah, I've been doing the ebike thing for a few years, and battery replacement is the first thing I check, especially used bikes, they just stop making the batteries sometimes.
I don't think this spare batteries are necessarily something that 95% of e-bike buyers are concerned with but, during the ordering process I'm sure the manufacturer would be more than willing to take a little bit more money from you to sell you an additional battery pack. I know some of the manufacturers offer an extra battery pack at point of purchase of the bike, of course at an additional cost . Plus there are a lot of aftermarket add-on batteries that you can run dual batteries with a simple battery equalizer and they usually throw it in some sort of a kit. I think there's some UA-cam videos that cover that kind of thing. I know I added a couple extra batteries to my Engwe M20 and Engine Pro bikes that was something that they offered in a kit.
Thanks for a very good review. I just got my C2 bike yesterday from AIPAS and assembled it. But it's missing the light & horn switch combo !!! BTW, the rim and tires are 26 x 1.95 not the 27 x 2.35 as advertised. BTW, what is the rim and tires on your C2 review bike? Thnx. Update, worst, The C2 Aipas bike I received on 9/17/24 was made out of iron (magnets stick to it), not Aluminum 6061. AiPAS specs meant nothing. It’s also missing light and horn switches. The first thing anyone should do is see if the frame is attracted by a magnet. If magnet sticks to it, it's iron frame and a very heavy bike. I'm going to return the bike.
I covered that in the video. They were definitely bigger than 26 by 1.95. I'm looking at apis is website and their advertising that their tires are 27 1/2 by 2.35 so I'm not sure where you see that they said they were 3-inch? Definitely give them a call about your missing part as they do have a warranty on the bike

Nice review. I'm 6'3, 280 and the final comment was important. Would love a video on top 5 bikes for tall riders. I was ready to buy an Aventon Adventure 2 until discovered from their web site it's design is limited to riders 6'1 and below. Also considering the Himiway Zebra, but haven't riden either yet.
@@Rvdaydream Absolutely. Did the same on my non eBike. I think the 6'1 reference for the Aventon Adventure 2 is a misprint because their other bikes are rated for up to 6'4 and I've read numerous riders over 6'2 that enjoy it; many of them suggesting to swap out/extend the handlebar stems.
Pulled the trigger on the Aventon Aventure 2. The L (large) frame absolutely fits big and tall riders. Main reason was the extra battery promo and my local shop is an authorized dealer. Aipas was the runner up but still considering the foldable for my wife; maybe even buy two foldables for traveling bc the prices are so attractive. Regardless which eBike you choose, don't wait. Riding an eBike is very enjoyable and great exercise. I did 18 miles on my first adventure; 14-16 miles more than I could do before.

How heavy are you? How strong are your legs? How much will you pedal versus using the throttle? How much weight will you carry? How many Hills will you go up? How fast will you go? What's the average temperature that you'll be operating the bike in? How windy is it? How many stop signs and traffic lights will you encounter? All those things will determine how long the battery will last...
