Amen. God's Word Reveals that "the heart of man is desperately wicked, deceitful. sick", and does not seek after God. Still, His Love And Grace Invites everyone, anyone who will believe and receive His Son Jesus The Christ. Christ Is The End Of The Law, so that there may be Righteousness For everyone who believes, For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - The Same Lord Is Lord Of all. We are not jews though, we are new creations in Christ Jesus. And the new covenant is not with the Church the Body of Christ, according to the scriptures it’s with the house of Israel and Judah. We are neither Israel or Judah we are the Body of Christ wherein there is neither jew nor gentile.
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Jeremiah 31:31-34 KJV
“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”
Hebrews 8:7-13 KJV
Furthermore the second part of the scripture in Hebrews 8:13 says: “Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” The old covenant is ready to vanish away but at the time that Hebrews was written it had not, and it is fair to say it has not yet vanished away to make way for the new covenant. We can see that to be true because Gods word is true and the signs of the covenant that he describes in these passages are not happening as advertised. For instance God promises to Israel and Judah that He will put His laws in their inward parts and they will have no need for teachers because they will all know Him. In Ezekiel 36:22-28 the new covenant is further described and includes Israel obtaining the land that God had promised them from the time of Abraham, and also a new spirit which will cause all of Israel to walk in His statutes, keep His judgements, and do them.
I pray God continues to bless you all as you study to shew yourselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
