Faith in christ jesus
Colossians 2:12 says that when we are baptized into Christ, this is a circumcision. In the new testament, submissive faith that was wholehearted with will be baptized immediately. In the new testament, these who submitted their hearts to God and faith were baptized into Jesus. This was confession that he was the , and baptism and faith are wrapped up together. Sometimes people want to separate them or call baptism a work; in the early days of the church, it was just typical for faith and baptism to be one and the same.
Circumcision of the heart is the spiritual circumcision of the conscience, removing the guilt from past sins, and restoring to it its original childlike sensitivity to sin.
This is " the washing of regeneration" ( Titus 3:5).
The definition of regeneration is to return something to its original state.
You cannot understand what your "heart" is until you know what your "spirit" is.
As your "heart" is an aspect of your "spirit".
"spirit" = MIND (consciousness)
"heart" = WILL (of Mind)
"circumcision" is a removal of the "flesh".
When our "heart" is circumcised our WILL of mind is changed from following after
the "flesh" ( this physical creation or "world" ) and turned towards the TRUE God,
the "Father" ( the "LIVING God ), who IS "SPIRIT" ( John 4:24 )......
and NOT the false "god" that created this hellhole called the "world".
THINK GNOSTIC !
