Good video, but manually placing the object after reducing influence to 0 can cause issues. You can fix this by setting a keyframe before the separation and then one frame later add a second keyframe and then click the X next to the "Influence" bar, then keyframe the influence and transform attributes. This will keep the object in world space without needing to be manually put back into place. 3D Animation Hub did a video that explains that visually

mine keeps going back to the original position :,,( edit: i reset everything and now it just stays stuck on the last keyframe even though animation is disabled
Please make a tutorial on holding an object and putting it on the avatar. For example, having a sword with a sword holder. You wanna take it out and grab it again. How would you do that?
Hi...first add camera and press ctrl +Alt + 0 (zero) to see thru camera...Then press N and select "view" from side bar...Enable lock to camera option and adjust the camera view how you like and Render it ...hope you got that...
It's quite sad that Blender solves this in such a primitive way. In other 3D programs, simply, only LINK or UNLINK function. Stick to a selected object or we will eliminate it. For example, the 2 hands of a person pushing a stroller. Bicycling man with both hands on the steering wheel. It automatically sticks to the point of the steering wheel and when you turn it, the doll's hand follows it. It's incomprehensible that Bleneder programmers haven't solved this yet. :)

i still have a doubt...after the ball hits the surface,it bounces back so slowly,unrealistically...how to change it?
Hi...increase the bounceness value for both ball and wall...
It just doesn't work for me.
When i disable or enable child it disables it over ALL the keyframes.
