@@ryandavis9379 They are good. But the problem for me is the commentary. Chris just reads the cards and tracks the life points. If you know the cards, you can basically watch the video the sound off. Do not get me wrong. I still watch it somethies. I love paper magic and I do appreciate the effort. But the commentary of MT 90s is nowehre near the level of this or old SCG or GP coverages. I know it is imporssible to have the quality while making multiple videos per day but... sometimes the watching is just dull.
59:02 Dismember should have been exiled. This is the opposite of the Murderous Cut situation where the Dauthi is destroyed THEN Cut is put into the graveyard. Dismember makes the Dauthi a -2/-3 but that doesn't leave play until State Based Effects are checked which is after Dismember goes to the "grave"
Great video. I don't play Legacy, but I managed to follow all game-actions perfectly, because of the editing. I hope we get to watch a tournament win in the future. Keep going!
58:25 Small misstep, but might matter for delve: dismember is exiled by dauthi. Like when you bolt it it's not the spell that kills it, but state-based effects. :)
mengu you are by far my favorite magic pro. you seem to have such a genuine love for the game, it's infectious. would love to see more tightly edited tournament games like these!
Love how you called it the troll of kazandu or at least my zendikar-fan bran heard that. Just recently began to watch mengu again and I really love that you play and comment in paper and especially legacy. You guys are great! I must say I was following mengus modern vedeeeos on mtgo but the platform and modern is so different and technical that it is hard to follow but these videos here are just really great to watch!
Whenever there is chaos in the world you just look at how mengu plays paper magic and you find peace!! Wauw great video once again and great editing! Love you guys please keep making these
Great content, the best! At 1:07:35 the spellbomb exiles itself so you couldn't cast murktide in your next turn, probably didn't Matter too much, but a thing to keep in mind, since sacrificing the spellbomb is the cost.
Minor detail: when a spell deals damage/changes toughness of dauthi voidwalker (like shock or dismember) it will go to exile. If a spell destroys/exiles it (like fatal push or PtE) it will go to the gy. That's because dauthi is still on board when the spell resolves, and dies when the next check of the board state happens
amazing video, love the scg-style video coverage. wish more ppl would play legacy and that wizards wouldn't abandon it, alongside all formats except for friggin standard. legacy is so great.
The surveil lands really caught me by surprise at how good they are. I genuinely didn't recognize the power creep, and thought coming into play tapped was enough of a drawback to put them down with the other slow lands. Nope, surveil off a fetch is busted. Long live surveil lands!
I dont play Legacy but i watched the whole thing I actually enjoy this kind of content and i hope to see more of these Hopefully, the next one is a format i play namely Pauper and Modern
Boss, pleasure to watch. Just one thing, I can see that during the exiling stuff with a Hearse by the Delver player, you missed the Murktide trigger to put +1/+1 (Murderous Cut was exiled by the Hearse). I am not trolling you. I am kinda happy to see it happens to pros too. Because It definitely does happen to me. 🤜🤛😃
Thank you, I'm so happy to see another tournament video! Tommy really showed how great a partner he is in this one. What makes these videos harder than normal gameplay?
First and mostly recording this is a lot of effort and a full day of work during a Sunday from Tommy. Then you have to cut all the slowplay and think during 7 rounds in order to make it as smooth as possible. Definitely much more than a single match in our studio like the others.
I want to see this type of content again
I second this!
I want to see this type of content again
For sure
Yes love this type of content
Great content
One hour of Megucci. Christmas came early
AND 15 minutes!
Love lack of dead air. And you actually explain what might not be obvious.
It's so rare to see good Paper Legacy gameplay, (rip VS Live and Starcity Games), so this channel is a godsend
90s mtg has daily paper legacy videos

@@ivosrotir8962 The SCG coverage really was something else (and made WotC's Pro Tour coverage look embarrassing in comparison).
Yes please. Keep doing coverage veedeeeeos, please.

Wooooow, che figata! Il commento è fantastico, ma mai quanto l'editing, che è next level! Siete grandi ❤️🐐
Appreciate how much credit you give Tommy for editing.

I would like this kind of stuff even more in formats i know something about :D
Great content. Love the games, the format, the commentary... thank you for the effort!

Great video!! Really like this format of recapping matches. 👌
