Interesting vid! I'm pretty familiar with most of the Holosun sights having been shopping for a sight to put on my tactical shotgun. The first sight I considered though was the Vortex Venom. For the price I think it's pretty good and would work for me, but there's something I just don't like about it in addition to the busy graphics. I then compared the Holosun HE508T and HS507Comp. I liked the way the 508 looked, but the 507Comp was better in pretty much every other way (reticle clarity, window size, fit and finish etc.). Someone mentioned the SCRS MRS as a possible solution, so I checked it out. The reticle clarity and selections are even better than the 507Comp (for me). I really like the overall design too. The problem I'm facing is mounting it to my shotgun that has a short picatinny rail. The SCRS MRS utilizes a 509T-type mount (which is weird) and comes with a pretty tall, 1/3 co-witness picatinny mount which would be good for an AR-type rifle but not for a shotgun. I've ordered a lower, 3rd party mount and hopefully that will put it at a more appropriate height for a shotgun. Other than my mounting situation, I think the Holosun SCRS MRS is a great sight and is definitely worth checking out.
The 507 comp is probably your best bet for a tactical shotgun just because the reticle choices are pretty rad if you have your shotgun properly patterned. But this optic would definitely be more robust.
@@ARFCOMReviews 75% of the time I'm shooting slugs at a range of 15 to 50 yards. I like the larger window size of the 507Comp but I really like the closed design of the SCRS and I prefer the hashed 65 MOA circle to the segmented 32 MOA circle. Given the recoil of a shotgun, I think the 2 MOA dot combined with the larger hashed circle would get me back on target more quickly than the dot with a smaller circle for follow-up shots.

Can the circle and dot be zeroed independently? For example, one for super and the other for subs, so that you can switch between them without switching the scope?
I really want to see how well it performs under nods. It's listed as having 4 NV settings but unfortunately it doesn't tell you how good the light transmission is on a stats page.
Should've shown it mounted on an AK, or a shotgun. With the low mount, I've been trying to watch less UA-cam lately. i was spending way too many hours a day watching my phone, and not getting much done, plus Google companies are not in line with my values (ie 2nd ammendment, and scencorship) Got the notify for this video and was hoping g to see what the height over bore looked like, considering this for my Zpap, or my Beretta 1301 tac.
Circle with hashes also helps find the dot if you don't have perfect positioning and prevents canting when pushing distance. The way to go.
I do like the circle dot reticle in a red dot with no magnification. I think it also (at least for me) makes it easier to stay target focused.

Holosun scrs or aems. Which one out of those two would you choose?
Probably the SCRS for size and weight unless it was going on an already big gun
