I can honestly say it did better than I thought it would. When compared to what's currently out there, it's going to start hurting some feelings in the 308/6.5 rifle space
Build one. Itll be much nicer. Zev tech matched upper/lower, a Lija barrel with a Lantac enhanced bcg, SLR quad rail and a simple A2 or whaf ever stock you want. Under or around 2k and 10x the quality. But if you wanna just mag dump into trash or shoot 3moa, go for the psa

Love PSA for what they do, getting the lower income folks into the shooting world but damn they really just toss what ever in a box.
The lockup rail alone justifies it. It’s basically a KAC. I have one on a 14.5 “SR15 at home” and man it’s a helluva handguard. I’d just get the sass and throw a better barrel and bcg on it one day if really needed
I can pretty much 100% that what you think is 800 yards to you that means 2 city blocks. I see this Parrot mouth talking lie all over gun video comments.
FYI, the Super SASS is supposed to be a close clone of the new KAC M110A3, not the OG M110 SASS or the XM110. PSA also makes a close clone of the OG M110 SASS and the M110A2. For those curious about the M110 SASS clone they have, i have one, it performs pretty much identically to this version but has the old style furniture and a different bag. For a real solid DMR in 6.5 or .308 id recommend either for the job, choose based on furniture preferences and if you can afford the extra $500 for the A3 clone.
@pilotincommand85 The only reason I wouldn't go for the 6.5 is barrel life and ammo availability/variety. 6.5's barrel life is, on average, 50% less than .308's. For a DMR, that's a big difference, especially if you shoot a lot.
Honestly for the price its incredible. Worst case scenario use the money you saved and get yourself a really high quality barrel and BCG to throw in it

Skip the saber line…the 716i is an excellent gun I’d choose an SFAR or 716i over my Saber any day…mine is 6.5 and shoots great but is poorly put together and feels cheap..i don’t expect it to last like a 716 or SFAR would…its a great gun for the price but it depends on what you are doing with it..if you expect to hunt seriously or only have 1 or 2 rifles…skip it…if you’re a collector or hobbyist and just want to plink and enjoy then by all means that’s where the saber shines
Never used Winchester Match, .308-Win, with 175-grain ammo. I've been shooting either Federal Gold Medal match, .308-Win with 175-grain, or, Hornady .308-Win with 168-grain bullets. Very impressed with the accuracy potential of Winchester match ammo. Hope I can find some.
Well. I ordered mine. Of course always takes PSA forever to ship. i rec. around 10/7 and instantly detected bolt not locking up correctly. Bolt sticking out an inch into the ejection port. They sent me a replacement buffer spring as PSA said they thought it was too long but the replacement was the same spring. Now I have to send the rifle back. I have 2 other PSA rifles which have so far been great. Guess quality control was out to lunch when this one went through. I am sure PSA will make it right but just a bummer.
Getting a bit closer to trying one. Just curious about barrel life and how it will be with another barrel after the original one is done. It may be worth it to get and just rebarrel. Still less than half of another one. Especially with the 6.5
In my experience the Sabre line is not a duty quality rifle like psa claims…it really shines plinking on weekends or sitting on a wall looking pretty…but that’s my sample size of one…mine feels cheap and I’m waiting for it to come apart..but the 6.5 man bun version shoots like a dream..FMJ or match it doesn’t matter just shoots
@ARFCOMReviews I gas mine is down as low as possible with each ammunition so that I still get lock back on the last round. It makes it a lot more pleasant to shoot without the need of a muzzle brake.
