Sexuality is fundamental to the human experience. People may act as sanctimonious as they want, it doesn't change the find that anything and everything can and will be sexualized. Plus, you know, those people who cry "obscenity" are often into some very depraved ornpe.

Even then, I still have troubles showing off my flirty side, because it was told that any girl who shows signs of being sexy is then deemed a sex toy or a slut.
I can't buy the DvD for Akebi or My Dress Up Darling yet, but I bought all available Manga and can't wait for more, at first I wasn't sure if I would like the anime because Sankaku only showed like the lewd side of things, but then a friend of mine told me, that I would enjoy it because it's about tailoring and cosplay and stuff, and I really liked it, and the interactions between the characters are also super adorable, it's one of my most beloved shows now.
I think people nowadays should stop getting triggered at anything they can get triggered on, and instead learn how to tell the difference between reality and fiction.
That's the one thing I've never quite got why does steam SPECIFICALLY crack down hard on visual novels, but rpg maker games that are WAY more lewd get the greenlight?
Genshin Impact has been having this censorship plague, which ruins the game. I'm also against the idea of Sistermon Noir getting replaced by Ciel in entertainment (Games and TCG) in the USA (I don't care if Ciel is classified as an official Digimon)! May be why Sistermon Ciel is a villain in the Digimon Ghost Game anime is because it represents Woke wrecking entertainment.
I definitely intend to talk about this Genshin nonsense. It's made me glad I didn't play the game for long, and ashamed that so many artists make such great fanart of a game that doesn't deserve it.
@@OtakuDaiKun As a Genshin Player, I honestly really enjoyed it. The new censored outfits are amazing in my opinion, I just hate the reason they were made. The game definitely gets worse once you finish all the quests.
Yeah my dress up darling is a very good show and even though I do agree Marin is a babe, I love the chemistry that she has with the main character and how the two get along. If she was censored in any way like a eroge VN is at times, I would be going are you kidding me. Hell I am 100% sure that if Marin's VNs was censored for no reason, she would probably feel the same way most of us feel about things like that. It still feels jarring to have one character dress in how they would want to, only for a group to change it one way or another, completely ruining the intend of the outfit, even if it may or may not get someone's rocks out. In any case, this was a fine video and I am glad I stuck with My Dress Up Darling!
Some people are attracted to the Burka...so should we censor the censorship? Some people are turned on to stuff that aren't inheritly meant to be sexy...such as hands and gloves, do we ban all gloves just because someone gets off to them? Or god forbid bare hands?
Context really is everything when it comes to something like this. Who's wearing it, why it's being worn, ect. So the fact that the developers see a a teenage girl going to school in her school uniform as inherently sexual is kinda creepy, in my opinion. There's really only so much that "it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to Steam's garbage fire of an approval system" excuses. (Also I'm totally with you in still being mad about Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Aging up the characters was all they really needed to do, and the way they censored the wedding dress just made it ugly. "Wedding dress that looks like you're wearing a bodysuit under it" is an absolutely horrid look.)
Ah jobless rebirth such a fun anime I remember reading the manga when it 1st came out hoped it get an anime one day and now it has really hope it gets a season 3 they ended just before the time skip
4Kids may not be around anymore, but other companies are continuing their work, and they must be stopped! Also they say the more you try to censor or tell your audience "no, you can't see this", the more it makes us wanna see it, and there's only so much censorship they can do; we'll find a way around the censorship lol. Plus there's a rating system for a reason, use it; and if kids are still getting to the ecchi anime and games, then the parents need to set up child blocks.
Aquaphiles: *exist* Well, no more pool episodes or swimming scenes, those are way too lewd. Free! is illegal now. Get out of here. Put a square over that lake in the background, you heathens!
The reason why they sell their visual novel for every age group is because they just want to make money. And if they want to sell their game on Steam for every age group then they have to follow their guidelines and change their game because children can play this game too and their are certain things that you can't show a child. I've also heard from a publisher that they want to censor certain content manga for international market because of softpower and tourism.
@@OtakuDaiKun I agree but I dont think I said that kids shouldn't see school uniforms. When I said "there are certain things that you can't show a child" I was specifically talking about things like sexual content.
@@Kuudere_Fanboy I'm not saying you said that. I'm saying that school uniforms were being censored even when not part of an adult scene. That means someone must have thought that kids shouldn't see it.
@@OtakuDaiKun They probably changed the uniform because the uniform showed too much skin (which could be against the guidelines) or the uniform was inaccurate. Tbh I'm not an expert when it comes to character design so I can't tell how much skin you're allowed to show or how much skin makes a design sexualised. So I'll leave that for now. However I'm pretty sure that the Japanese school uniform in real life have much longer skirts then the uniform you normally see in Anime. Not that I'm against the anime school uniform but It is understandable if the developer wanted to make the design more accurate.
@@Kuudere_Fanboy Skirt length varies from uniform to uniform, and I believe there's some leeway in how girls can wear them. Saying the legs are too much skin is exactly the problem I'm addressing. This isn't really an argument about accuracy. It's obvious the devs over censored anything that could possibly get them in trouble before steam even looked at it. That led to them questioning even innocent details.
It’s funny that even though I saw someone in cosplay of the girl from Sono Bisque Doll, the real life person wearing that same skimpy costume looked less lewd than the drawing. Meaning: Intent can show in a drawing more than you think. Real life appearance gives more complex feelings. And overly trying to make things unsexy isn’t needed if it isn’t supposed to be. That intent will show in the drawing itself.
Well except maybe extreme gore. I for one would have been terrified to see Jango Fett and count Dooku's (Star wars) head roll around after decapitation as a kid. Even if there wouldn't be any blood.
@@Nathan-FG01 no. Nothing must be censored. We already have age ratings to make sure no child ends up watching a gruesome gore scene. You deserve no respect for trying to slide support of censorship .
@@SergioLeonardoCornejo but star wars is for everyone. But it's still shows the brutality of its reality, hell the clone wars cartoon was brutal and shown on cartoon network. Always be respectful. I may not like what you like hell i may find it disgusting but i won't vilify or attack you for liking it.
It's a sort of fallacy that's all too commonly practiced in modern western media. The idea that something is morally fine until someone views it in a sexualised manner, suddenly making it inappropriate in ANY context. What makes it a fallacy is that: 1. Attraction is NORMAL. Demonizing it is not only stupid, it's runs counter to the human condition. 2. ANYTHING can be, and likely already IS viewed sexually by SOMEONE out there. Controlling what is allowed to viewed attractive is completely unfeasible. To paraphrase a freaking manatee, of all things, if one thing has to be censored, everything has to be censored.
You'd think so, but you can't believe how hard it is to find such things in this day and age :P (Just in case somebody sees the comments, I am being sarcastic in my comments lol) But you know, it's one of those things I actually wonder if it trully IS a thing... guess some things are better left unknown heh
There's no way I can word this without sounding like an insensitive asshole, so I'll put it plainly: At this point, I'm expecting to start seeing burkas. On an unrelated note, that back walkover. I know it's an animated character, but I really wish I could do these sorts of things.
Be careful, you have your stomach on show in this video... you're sexualising yourself! or at least i think these people would say something like that. Tbf at least the all ages version of Cyanotype Daydream is getting a "censored"/all-ages version in Japan too... the main thing that i take issue is the transition from changing the setting from highschool to college. Whether or not this is censorhip is questionable, at least in regards to going all-ages as it's the creators idea to do so... the eroge still exists, just that the rerelease does not (something that has happened for many visual novels in the past too, usually those with console versions). The main issue i have is our version having a completely different setting, the transition to all-ages i don't really care about. The setting change is quite possibly linked to Steam censorship, as they really don't like Highschool settings (sometimes, they have no consistency in the application of policy).
@@OtakuDaiKun aye, it’s definitely a shame. I would personally have been happy with the Japanese all-ages version (maintaining its original setting) But the fact we get neither is silly.
Hearing all of these facts is sweet honey to my ears, but getting those potatoes in the ears prude censor sadists to listen to this and learn from it. To be enlightened to see reason is a whole other matter entirely. Soon as you give some self-entitled person or group of people the power to censor based on their own will. Gives them a god complex and/or gets off on that feeling of control that they never want to let go of that type of control.

The Author of Shinmoneta saw the future
Sadly yes.
Sadly so
Genshin Impact has been having this censorship plague, which ruins the game.
The game definitely gets worse once you finish all the quests.
if only people can think the way and view the way we view.
A really good and educational video dood
Some people are attracted to the Burka...so should we censor the censorship?
Some people are turned on to stuff that aren't inheritly meant to be sexy...such as hands and gloves, do we ban all gloves just because someone gets off to them? Or god forbid bare hands?
That's how it works. They'll censor as often as they can based on reactions rather than principles.
What you say is true thanks
Ah jobless rebirth such a fun anime I remember reading the manga when it 1st came out hoped it get an anime one day and now it has really hope it gets a season 3 they ended just before the time skip

It is!
@@OtakuDaiKun do you know which song it is?
@@sapphire4477 It's from the old dub. A song called Carry On.
Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon from the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game has the most wholesome artwork within an otherwise sexy archetype in both TCG and OCG artworks.
Let's wait until someone decided to censor a habit on a nun in a church setting because it's somehow too attractive.
Kiara or Ciel lol
Kiara (Heaven's Hole) obviously, but can't forget Caren counts too since a habit is basically what she generally wears.
Oh, nooo, a schoolgirl in a school uniform?! Whatever shall I doo?! The end isss upon uss!!
Before I watch your video, let me tell you that I love your channel.
Thank you very much^^ I am honored.
Aquaphiles: *exist*
Well, no more pool episodes or swimming scenes, those are way too lewd. Free! is illegal now.
Yes, but there's no reason a kid shouldn't see a school uniform.
Yeah, but by the same token, some people probably find the cosplay even more attractive.
Nothing excuses censorship, and those who support it should not be held as humane.
Over censoring I disagree with heavily, but no censorship would be bad. Like not censoring swearing on the news could offend certain people or affect young people that happen to be watching.
If you condemned censorship, you might as well be as bad as those that enforce it to the extreme. There needs to be a balance.
@@Nathan-FG01 no. There is no compromise. Censorship is unacceptable, and you keep trying to gaslight others into supporting it.

For me its always come down to the same point. my fantasies are my fantasies no one else's I'm allowed to have them whatever they are, what matters are my actions, if you are harming or harnessing others your in the wrong with the possible exception to self-defense of course if you harm someone who is the aggressor against you that is they're fault never yours. Of course for some there will always be gray areas. Art should not be censored so long as no one is harmed in its creation, wether or not some take offense isn't the artists problem, if you don't like move on and let those that do enjoy it responsibly. "Getting off" means so many things, any real meaning gets left behind.
@@OtakuDaiKun I know but the way it's phrased and showed up on my feed was far too ominous ngl
It's a sort of fallacy that's all too commonly practiced in modern western media. The idea that something is morally fine until someone views it in a sexualised manner, suddenly making it inappropriate in ANY context.
What makes it a fallacy is that:

@@AuraArondight Oh! Yeah, that's a crazy feat of flexibility and balance.
Yes, but westerners won't get an uncensored English version.
The most I can do is keep my voice loud and clear so that it competes with the opposition.
