    Nice set up Steve! Even tired eyes could find pole beans in that garage!

    Nice tour! I have an old school pencil sharpener up in my garage too. Having a sharp pencil is important!

      Very underrated comment! Nothing worse than a dull pencil when working on a project.

    I built something like this in my workshop but screwed up by building it for giant tubs that get crazy heavy when you load them up. Should have done like Steve with the milk crates.

    You missed the 3 most important steps. 1 buy you a storage shed for your wife's decorations. 2nd buy a 2nd shed with room for your wife's hobbies. 3rd put locks on the garage doors

      Don’t forget a separate shed for the copious amounts of children’s outdoor toys and kids vehicles that take up every fucking inch of space in the garage.

    I got the same garage wall organizer as a wedding gift and I really like it. I'm not into the bin storage as much but I do like to hang regular use tools on the wall for quick access

    He keeps the his garage so organized because there's 0% chance he's tearing his truck apart to rebuilt the trans Friday night so he has a vehicle to get to work Monday morning. 😅

    How do you manage moisture and keep the mold down Steve?

    • @hulsey1667
      @hulsey1667 7 місяців тому +1

      good point, I live in the tropics and even inside the house mold and moisture is a constant battle. The shed/garage? Nightmare. I find you 'use it or lose it', by that I mean things you use regularly are fine but store anything semi long term, you're gonna have some nasty surprises when you dig it out. Good quality shoes/boots that don't get worn often will perish and fall apart

      Probably gets little to zero dust like a normal garage. He basically has a climate controlled storage room. I would assume insulated sealed overhead door. You would dust it like any storage room in a basement then.

    The clear bin are too brittle. Yet to find one that doesn’t go to shit within a year or two. The smaller cases are ok, but once you get some weight the coloured ones are the way to go
