Where did the snowblower and generator go? The two large toy cars? The camping chairs? Did that all get “Relocated” to some other location to be hoarded?
The things I love about this series are that they use real items we've seen at Lowe's on a regular basis, they're usually budget friendly, and we learn how to integrate them into our space. Great job!
Really nice project overall. I also recommend the Gladiator and Rubbermaid wall track stuff - highly versatile and sturdy. If I would do one thing differently (this is coming from a lineage of craftsman and painters lol) I would treat the garage like any other room in the house and smooth out and patch drywall joints, nail/screw pops, dents, etc. and put 2 good coats of highly durable Flat/Matte paint such as Benjamin Moore Scuff-X (or Valspar equivalent if there is such). Be cognizant of the climate you live in as well; if there are long seasons of humidity you want a paint that can inhibit the growth of mold and mildew.
I saw the folding lawn chairs at the beginning and watched to the end to see if there was a new way to store them. They never were seen again so I assume they went in the tall white cabinet. I have 6 and just have them on a large shelf that would normally house large containers. I have seen others use barrels or similar containers but I don't want to take up floor space. I am thinking about getting a length of 8" PVC pipe and cutting four inch sections. Screwing 3 to the wall, then machine screwing two to those and one to those, then horizontally almost the length of the chairs repeating that. Then I could put in the base section of the chair in one end and the top in the other across, so I could easily access 5 at any time and the middle/center back spot would be for a duplicate of other chairs so it wouldn't be a bother if I only needed a couple and wouldn't have to take out several to access that one. Just wish I had time to get to that area of the garage to do it. It would be a super long comment to go into how clogged the rest of the garage is with other family members stuff.
It looks amazing at the end. That cabinet wow. Plus the shelves in black. A garage this cool deserves air conditioning, at least to prevent it from going super hot/cold. Wonder if a mini split could be added ?
Looks so awesome!! But the texture in the floor is giving me anxiety because we have spills in our garage all the time and those do not seem easy to clean 😬
This is amazing! My garage has rolling chrome carts with tons of stuff on them. Each cart has a "topic"...DIY, Tools, Car Things, Dad's work items, but it still can be seen and can appear a bit messy still. I am loving the closed storage idea, matching bins, and covering the floor with tiles (plaid is a favorite). I may have to re-organize again to introduce some of these elements for visual eye candy. I never would have thought to put wallpaper on a garage wall, but now love this idea to set off a "drop zone" for shoes and jackets. Keep them coming Monica!!!
Monica when are you going to have your own full blown show? These videos are too short! Haha I want more ideas from you. ❤😊🎉 this was freaking fabulous
That garage has finished walls even before they were refreshed with a new layer of paint! That's 1000% ahead of mine. I like the plaid look hard-wearing plastic click together flooring but the price - and how do you clean under it? The closed storage is the greatest IMO. I don't have kids so I don't need to have lots of baskets and shelving to hold toys, etc. but tools, gardening items, grilling supplies, all the lawn fertilizers, weed killers, etc. I would like to see that disappear as much as possible. The ideas are great, it's the pocketbook that limits most any improvements like you do against ever being achieved.
I also wonder how you would ever get the floor clean with perforated tiles. You would have to use a shop vac which many of us don't have or a leaf blower that would put the dust on every surface in the garage. These tiles are currently priced $3.50 /sqft. Epoxy floors $3-7/sqft. I would prefer epoxy, though both are quite expensive.
Love the organization would love for you to come do this for my one car garage. I would rather have the floor sealed with some specs in it though. Great job!!!!
I love it, love it, love it Monica!!! You and your team did a fantastic makeover for this couple!!! This makeover is so inspirational to me. Thank you so much!!! There is a LOWE’S close by to my husband’s and my home, which is super great.
OMG I am so glad you’re back Monica! Love the garage some ideas even though I don’t have a garage I have a carport but I do have a little storage room on my carport that will need some help so some really good ideas for me as well again so glad you’re back I missed you until next time!❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! WHAT A TOTALLY AWSOME TRANSFORMATION!!!!! EVERYTHING CAME OUT SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! GREAT VIDEO AND EDUCATION. THANKS FOR SHARING!!!! I LEARNED SO MUCH.
MONICA!!! YOUR CREATIVE BRAIN is an inspiration to all of us!!! This garage turned out fantastic. I agree with everyone that I was super nervous about the Black ⚫ paint...I definitely trust your color decision! I won't question/doubt your color choice/thought process/final decision...ever again!!! The way that you LISTENED to them, HEARD their needs/wants, having four children of your own... Is what ABSOLUTELY made you the PERFECT Person for this family's Garage Weekender!!! I absolutely love the way you've created an extraordinary extension of their home, with the way you chose to design this garage. Everything has as a place/home, and Everything is in it's place/home!!!! I think....🤔 No, I'm 100% certain...... I NEED YOU to Refresh/Overhaul/Makeover my GARAGE too!!!!! 😂😂😂 This Mother of FOUR, as well, has FINALLY gotten excited and looking forward to tackling our Garage!!! The Attic will also be a future project but I'll be focused on my garage. 😂 These projects are not as overwhelming as I've played them up to being in my mind.... ESPECIALLY HAVING WATCHED THIS GARAGE EPISODE OF WEEKENDER!!!!❤ So...... THANK YOU for being such an inspiration to ME!!!!😂❤
How were the bikes hung and what are the options for growth with bigger bikes in the future ? Also we saw their real stuff get sorted but in the reveal it was very staged with "new" stuff , show us the practical relocation of their things!
Love this series by Lowe’s. But all that big shelf being held up by one single rail screwed into the studs 9:26? How much weight can that rail hold up?
It would be nice to put a product list in the description. A lot of pricing is regional, so the staff could put down, " this is GA costing" or something like that. Based on the items I recognize, I'd guess about $1500 ish.
Where did the snowblower and generator go? The two large toy cars? The camping chairs? Did that all get “Relocated” to some other location to be hoarded?
Also the ladders?
Good eye!
Put to the side for filming. Then in a corner somewhere after
The things I love about this series are that they use real items we've seen at Lowe's on a regular basis, they're usually budget friendly, and we learn how to integrate them into our space. Great job!
Since when can you buy Swiss Trax flooring at Lowe's?
That garage transformation was AMAZING!!! Never knew a garage could look so nice!! Nice job!!🥰
"This is a perfectly good box of tissues." This is me!! 😂 My fiancee is always trying to clean and organize and I never want to throw anything away.
I wasn't too sure about the black paint, but I love how the space came together.
LOVE IT, Monica! I never would have thought to do a plaid pattern on the floor. That really elevates the style!

This series should never end. Monica does Lowe’s proud!
Only Monica could make you jealous of someone’s garage!

What a beautiful and great transformation! 😍 I would’ve liked to know more or less the total amount spent in the entire project. 🙌
Looks so awesome!! But the texture in the floor is giving me anxiety because we have spills in our garage all the time and those do not seem easy to clean 😬
So many great ideas. Love the flooring and the cabinets that hang from a track.
I have never seen such a beautiful garage. Such function in every corner. Wonderful!!
That garage looks huge now. I'm so glad Monica was able to put a little style and storage in there. Great job!
Love the flooring 👍

The plaid pattern on the floor is genius!!

That looks fantastic. I especially love the flooring.

THANK YOU, LOWES,!!!!!!
Such a tidy and organized garage, but also pretty & welcoming. I am so jealous! 😂
My husband and I are in Chicago. We are weekend DIY project partners! Lowes is our go to place for EVERY project. I just love your finishing touches.
This garage makeover looks so awesome. It can be used as a family or movie room. The color on the walls and floor are my favorites. Great job Monica
Ahhh my favorite series... Monica is the best!
Love the organization would love for you to come do this for my one car garage. I would rather have the floor sealed with some specs in it though. Great job!!!!
Wow, this is one of my favorite episodes. The functionality of everything. Looking forward to using this flooring design in my space.
This video gives me so much inspiration to makeover my tornado dull garage.
Thank you so much! 😃👍
So many good ideas. I have a difficult time thinking that a family could accomplish this project in a weekend. The final look is great.
absolutely perfect! gorgeous flooring pattern too
I Love,Love the idea of a black garage... my garage is 21x40, huge.. so I want to do this.. not sure about tricorn black..?
Wow, the flooring looks so good.
This is by far the best garage transformation I have ever seen. Practical and also very cool. Well done, Monica!

This makeover is so inspirational to me. Thank you so much!!! There is a LOWE’S close by to my husband’s and my home, which is super great.
STUNNING!!! ❤ I am definitelz going to steal that flooring pattern
Yay, there's hope for my garage!!! Maybe THIS will finally convince my husband to work with me on it!!! 😊
This was a great transformation...that flooring product is amazing.
This so so good! I know it’s a home improvement show but I’m gonna need links to all of Monica’s outfits too! 😂😍
Monica you look amazing, thinking of buying a jump suit!
Very well done. I felt this one as I am going through all the same challenges. Great Job!
Wow! Wow wow wow, such a great job Monica! Greetings from cologne Germany
Another amazing project by Monica!
Love the color black! I’d like those floors for my garage aka my husbands work shop! Mine are epoxy. Great makeover!!
Absolutely love this. I will be implementing a lot of these features in my garage makeover
I just need to know how to get Monica to do my garage! I love everything that what was done.
You're honestly better off hiring a local designer to do that.
Doesn't look like a garage. Looks like a finished clean room! Beautiful job!
What an amazing transformation. I’ve shared this episode with my husband because I’d like to use this flooring. So many great ideas! Thank you❤
MONICA!!!

One of the best garage I have ever seen apart from one in Seattle. Wow!! 👍 👌
Wow!Love it! Love the flooring ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh! I sooo need you to come help organize me!!! Wow! That looks absolutely amazing! Fantastic job… as always! 🥳👍
Real nice, Heather real nice to helped your father Dan.
So amazing! I wish my garage looked like this
Love the flooring!
Was questioning the three colours for the floor... But in the end turned out soooo chic. Good job Monica
beautiful and functional
Just WOW!
How were the bikes hung and what are the options for growth with bigger bikes in the future ? Also we saw their real stuff get sorted but in the reveal it was very staged with "new" stuff , show us the practical relocation of their things!
Like the generator, snowthrower and ladders. But nevermind that, look at the shiny new Kobalt hand tools and impractically small workbench.
I am trying to figure out what to do with my garage. I was going to pay to have my cement floors painted but I love this lock stuff. Thanks Lowes!!!
You're so welcome and good luck on your garage project! You got this.👍💙
Absolutely love this! I will definitely implement these garage organization ideas and designs in my garage.
Love it all but the floor was a genius idea!
You are amazing!!
Omg!! Phenomenal. Just one caveat: Please, please, pleeeeease turn your phone on the horizontal to get rid of those huge sides. Thanks😉. Cheers.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!
I’d love to see what it looks like in 2 months
Wow! I love the weekender! Great transformations every time! 👏👏
Wow😮❤. So good!
The floor is amazing.
Awesome transformation!! Im looking for ideas and here is plenty of inspiration.
We're thrilled you found some inspiration! Monica's creations are a fantastic source of ideas. 👍
The space under the cabinets could fix some baskets for the roller skates, etc
Love everything but especially the floor. 👏🏼👏🏼
Magic!😉 all the way from outback Broken Hill NSW Australia 🇦🇺
Love this series by Lowe’s. But all that big shelf being held up by one single rail screwed into the studs 9:26? How much weight can that rail hold up?
Who would have thought that would work so well! amazing
The garage looks awesome and so organized, and roomy. But where is that large ladder?
Amazing job it looks beautiful ❤❤❤
Amazing transformation 🙌🏼
I used Tricorn Black and it shows a lot of dust; it looks amazing, but I don’t think is going to stay pretty. Overall, great looks and functionality.
How do you organize a garage with 4 deep freezers in it? Please help us.
That’s phenomenal. Thank you for the tips.
Monica for the win! Xo*
Really nice! Job well done. ❤
The only thing missing is a place to sit in the "mudroom" area.
The floor is FABULOUS. How do you clean the floor if something spills, though?
Hi there, you can clean spills with a simple degreaser and work the area with a damp cloth or a damp mop for larger areas. 🫧
Beautiful and I am so jealous!❤
How much does this makeover cost?
It would be nice to put a product list in the description. A lot of pricing is regional, so the staff could put down, " this is GA costing" or something like that. Based on the items I recognize, I'd guess about $1500 ish.
@@txquilter608 Just the floor tiles would be over $1600 at prices today ($3.49/sqft) for a 20x24' 2-car garage.
I love it. I wish you could organize my garage.❤
