Look at this guy so curious about Daytona USA that they travelled 100 miles to find an arcade version of it because they've only played the Sega Saturn port but something just isn't .... Right.
As simple of a reference as it was, the "despite all my rage" joke had me belly laughing for some reason. Keep up the good work man, always love to see your videos in my sub box
I immedately got "Secret of Nimh" vibes from watching this video, your commitment to playing these demos has finally got me to get interested in one. Ill have to keep an eye out for this one.
Love the work! Really interested in your impression of Golden Light - that's a sort of surrealistic first-person rogue-like horror made by a single developer, fits nicely
Much as I like the full-feature pieces, you've been churning these out at a hell of a pace. And I haven't heard of any of these, so... that's good. New prospects for my hoard.
I enjoy the grimpressions as well as the much longer form. Solid. Don't watch the supernaturals but the rest of the channels content is more than enough. Keep up the good work.
Loving the short and sweet demo impression vids Grim. Just an observation, but with the Gherkin and Shard skyscrapers in those backgrounds, this is probably based in at least the 2010s and possibly based in the “present”
I'm immediately drawn into the Grimbeard saga. I'm truly curious as to what dark eldrich force has kept his view count so low, the mystery keeps me engaged. Makes me wonder what's wrong with people, then I remember its everything.
Honestly man, I really cherish your work. I doubt I'm alone in saying you give us goth gamers a sliver of hope that our various wackadoo dreams and creative inclinations arent for nought, that no matter how dildolated an edglelord one may be, their work can have meaning and value. You've got taste, and soul, lingua ignota and swans and merzbow references amidst a true thirst for art- and talent of your very own no less. I paint vagenis monster, play noise shows, write poetry, and play diablo 2 for 20 years while watching deadwood and the first season of true detective on a loop. I'm sure we could talk jodorowsky and francis bacon and Robert crumb and I'm sure we could get a lot more obscure than that. Without getting into territory unhealthily creepy, I guess it just feels good to feel seen and represented in someone's work. You're one of the good guys, struggling on in this hellworld and going beyond mere survival by manifesting yourself. It's great to see you grow and go on.
Loved the Golden Sun comparison. Maybe I just dont like most peoples opinions or takes on things, but I rarely hear/see anyone referencing Golden Sun. One of my favorite series. Once you made the comparison, I could easily see some aspects (specifically the leaning towards story telling and some fights being scripted to act as plot points). Enjoying the demo videos, boss. Thanks!
sorry for not watching the darkened streams :/ and the previous grimpressions.... and the songs.... But i just wanna say i am here for it tho, i understand the importance of the algorithm now. let the GGN live long. daily uploads was a dream come true!!!
This game gave both Redwell for semi fantasy and rodents and Watership Down for the animals using their own perspective of understanding of the bigger world around them. Also, Golden Sun is what came to mind. It's coming out on November 16 2023.
I had to stop watching the video because I am completely 100% sold on checking this one out myself. But believe you me I will be back to finish this video when I'm done playing the demo.
I've been enjoying demos in general lately and am so glad they seem to be becoming more common and popular on Steam. IMO, they should be incentivized hard. Give the maker/publisher a slightly bigger cut of the sales if they offer a free demo. I wish more AAA games did demos, too. I might actually consider spending more than $10-20 on a game if I could try it first. The one from Next Fest that stands out most to me so far is Core Keeper. I've put 10-12 hours into it just this weekend and I'm nowhere near finished with what they give you. Sure, it needs some mechanical polish still, but overall it plays really well if you like that style of game (Terraria, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, etc.). Thanks for pointing out this one! I just downloaded it. Love the art style and the classic JRPG + Secret of NIMH inspiration.
OMG THEY HAD THE STUSSY S ON THE WALL... I remember when that was the coolest thing you could draw in your note book... wait... do kids still write in note books? isn't everything being typed now in iPads? AM I BECOMING MY GRAND PARENTS? WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING?!!?!
Grim, I told you about this in a comment to your previous video but I'm not sure if you read it: you should try the Godlike Burger demo. It uses the burger-making sim trope but it's actually a sci-fi roguelite with a pretty sick dark humor edge where you play a serial killer who murders his customers to resupply his meat stocks to feed more customers.
Look at this guy, making videos so people'll watch 'em. Wild stuff.
Look at this guy, supporting the creation of great content and having the catchiest username ever
@@jamesoclaire4512 Look at this guy, making a lighthearted joke and supporting his fellow content watcher with a kind comment.

I'm loving how small Indie games like this, are getting more and more recognition!
Loving all these Grimbeards so close together. Hope you’re doing well man
Just played through the full game and loved it! Never woulda heard about it if it wasn't for the Grimpressions.
As simple of a reference as it was, the "despite all my rage" joke had me belly laughing for some reason. Keep up the good work man, always love to see your videos in my sub box

it's more like Berserk with mice
This genuinely looks awesome. I want to play it because of this video
Loving the development of the Grimbeard Rat Story Arc. I can't wait until the newest tiniest member of the Goth Gamer crew gets introduced
Looks like a neat lil game. Thanks for giving it some exposure, will definitely wishlist it.
This looks so promising, could definitely turn out to be a great game
This demo was pretty dope. glad you gave it a look.
That plop. The feels.
I played the demo ages ago and the game just oozes charm.
Someone actually remembers Redwall. I'm shocked.

Please tell me what dark God answered my prayers for this deluge of Grim content so I can continue making sacrifices to them
Wow, this game is made for me and I've never heard of it before.
Can't fuckin wait for this one! Played the demo a whiiiile ago, and I'm really glad you're giving it some love!!
For those curious and looking at the comments of a year old vid, this finally has a release date and is out November 2023.
Not gonna lie to ya bro, I’ve had a fucking shite week at work, and Watching these last few demo vids has been nice to calm down too

My list of wishes grows ever longer
Love you putting out these demos. Hope you follow through on their final release.
All theses Grim Beard videos! My alter is overflowing with sacrificial fluids!
cute little mice on a quest. the big cat was so scary! 🙀
I enjoy the grimpressions as well as the much longer form. Solid. Don't watch the supernaturals but the rest of the channels content is more than enough. Keep up the good work.
I bit down hard and it was in fact over quite soon.
I absolutely adore the mole "mage" who uses a lighter.
God the art is so clean! Love this, I have to play it
Im not over it damnit. I want moar! (these demo videos are fantastic keep em coming at whatever pace!)
Ooh... Went ahead and wishlisted this one! Thanks for the vid, Grimbo.
That intro track is FIRE!
Thank you for showcasing these Grim, have been enjoying your impressions.
"Throwback to old jrpg" This phrase always reminds me "YIIK"...
Added this one to my wishlist. Looks dope!
Loving the short and sweet demo impression vids Grim. Just an observation, but with the Gherkin and Shard skyscrapers in those backgrounds, this is probably based in at least the 2010s and possibly based in the “present”
I love that premise so much, even if the game ends up being bad, I am ok with preordering it, even though you cannot actually do that yet.
Dude, that art style and camera work is amazing. The game looks good too.
Look, I’m just glad you’re making videos. I’ll take these short form demo vids.
so cool to see this much activity on your channel!
loving all these videos. this game looks 100% up my alley, def gonna check it out
Multiple videos in a day? Heck yeah
Definitely going to keep an eye on this one. Thanks for pointing it out!
Oh man, surely a game like this won't have an incredibly sad moment where one of the cute little guys dies or anything.
This looks amazing!
Thank you. I'm going to try this!
Loving all this content.
Keep em coming! Been loving this series!!
Namedropping Redwall AND Skyclad? Colour me impressed.
I'm immediately drawn into the Grimbeard saga. I'm truly curious as to what dark eldrich force has kept his view count so low, the mystery keeps me engaged. Makes me wonder what's wrong with people, then I remember its everything.
hey, i backed this on kickstarter! looking forward to it.
I'm not a fan of turn based games, but I'd play this just for the world it creates! It's so my vibe it's crazy.
My man grim with the Syphon Filter AND a Golden Sun shout out?!

100% in on the demo impression vids, ngl

Game is good.
Video is good.
Goth is good.

That mouse carries that pocket knife like it's jesus carrying the cross but it's a claymore too
Wishlisting most of these. Grimbeard is the accidental game salesman.
My shitty potato can't play anything on the Steam Fest but I'm glad Grimby is presenting me cool stuff to wishlist.
I feel spoiled by this much Grim in my life.
Dude your music is epic
This is amazing
Always remember, if you liked what you saw in the video, you can wishlist it on steam so it gets more recognition!
Despite all his rage he's a still just a mouse with a swiss army knife.
Holy fuck I’m sold
The grim one spoils us.
Absolutely agree I’d snap this up in a second if they made a Switch release.
love the review videos boss
Mouse Guard 21st century : the video game.
That smashing pumpkins joke made me remember that one of my ex girlfriends had made her senior yearbook quote bs that line from the song. Silly silly.
I had to stop watching the video because I am completely 100% sold on checking this one out myself. But believe you me I will be back to finish this video when I'm done playing the demo.
ooh, another!
Thank you, demobutt.
The end song slaps
Mousegard.
Somebody finaly did gba rpg omg
This is neat!

Golden Sun rules and I would love to see a Grimbeard Diaries about it, shame they never made a third one. Yup. Never Made A Third One.
Holy shit has style over substance never looked so good.
I want this on SWITCHYAAAA!!
despite all my rage, grim is still exposing me to games that will inevitably put my wallet in a cage
Have you played or heard of The Void? Made by the same guys who did the Pathologic series. I'd love a video for that one!
Sooo it's Redwall
Reminds me Ghost of a Tale, sorta.
Another fantasy game with mice, nice.
I wish your vids were longer but that’s just from the selfish desire of constant content from me lol
Looks good 👍 🐭
OMG THEY HAD THE STUSSY S ON THE WALL... I remember when that was the coolest thing you could draw in your note book...

It's Berserk with mice
The "that's my opinion" opening has become a major part of my life now. My gf is not happy with you Grim
These videos are the sleeping pills that stave off the shakes till the next needle between the toes
this was awesome the whole way through and then you tell me ONE GUY MADE IT ALL>??????????????? z a m n
