Dude your the first person on UA-cam who has a charger who did a full installation of led headlights! You beat me to it lol but thanks for the video cause I recently went with a different brand and it was horrible it didn’t fit the bucket housing so I returned them but now I will definitely be ordering octane thanks for the video man! God bless
@@louislazzaro9119 hello question, will they fit and plug in straight to a stock 68 charger with original wiring? Or did you need any adapters or anything else?
Thanks for the info. I am looking to get rid of the old yellowish tint and a smaller draw on power would be awesome. Guessing this pulls a lot less power, correct?
And your wiring harness is all stock? You don't have to put any like idk voltage regulators in if you're using LEDS? Looks great! Might consider doing something like this with my Charger👍
Leds draw far less current. So if you have a switch that over heats, etc. LEDs can solve it. My '63 Ford pulls full current for the headlights through the switch on the dash......same pull out switch has glass fuses built into it. it overheats with high beams on and a warm cabin causing the headlights to turn off and on, fun! open the cowl vent and it stops. LEDs are on my list. Another thing you can do it put relays in to handle the full current, relegating the switch power to simply flip the relay control side. As another comment said the fun part is finding a LED that fits your buckets without hacking them up. On my Ford the low beam buckets are exposed to the wheel well, not good to cut those up...
Thanks so much for the video. I have a 70 charger and didn't know what to get that would work till i saw your video. Just ordered them and will let you know how they work out. Loving the inner headlight bezel. Never knew they had them. Do you know where i could find one?. Thanks again. Love your car..
@@68Charger i love these led lights. Thanks so much for the video so i knew what to order. So easy to install and looks great. Havent tried at night yet but amazing difference in garage.
@@68Charger ya im still using my stock wiring in my ‘70 Charger, hopefully it won’t affect anything since it will be drawing less current from the fuse. Thanks for video, it motivated me to get the kit.
@@68Charger so I installed these lights and had no issues. What a difference they make ! I feel much safer about driving at night now. Thanks again for sharing the video and the link !
The original headlights look abnormally weak especially considering they appear to be halogens. I've got replacement halogen bulbs in my valiant and they are bright white.

Sorry to hear that, man. I wanted to do this a while ago but was waiting for them to be back in stock. Definitely worth the wait.
What is the part number to these
It didn't bother you the high beams were clocked at an angle? It would drive me crazy.
Can some help me to find out the part number or link for headlight bezel for my 70s charger 😢
I upgraded my 68 Riviera GS with the same kit. I love them!
Nice!
No mention of part number sure would make it easy to get some. Great video.
Check the video description. I posted the link of where I got them from.
@@68Charger Thanks, didn't see it but we saw the item number on box, your video was great ordered them today.

Yeah, much less power.
I'm definitely about to head over and get these ASAP!

Came out awesome! Those sure are bright too
Thank you, Sir!
thanks for this, i just installed my LEDS and it was easy as can be.
Awesome, glad I could help!
Did you add Led signal lights?
@@angryhd2976 No, just kept that stock.
Wow bro it looks so clean! We can go cruise at night now lol
Let’s do it, man. I still want to check out your Jeep!
Wow. Those are bright!
Yeah, man. Was not expecting these results!
Beautiful I can’t wait to put them in mine 👍🏼
It’s worth it, man!
Looks and sounds great!
Thanks!
When you buy these, is it a full set as in all 4 or is it a pair? Looked on the link and it doesn't say.
Came with 4
Thanks for sharing this!
👊🏻
Did you have to purchase the 4 headlight relay wiring harness from Octane?
@68_Charger
No, I used my the painless wiring kit I already had installed prior.
Are they still working good and are you still happy with them?
Yeah man. They are still working great!
And your wiring harness is all stock? You don't have to put any like idk voltage regulators in if you're using LEDS? Looks great! Might consider doing something like this with my Charger👍
I’m running a painless wiring kit I installed about 15 years ago. Didn’t have to do anything, was plug and play.

Did using these new led headlights affect the turn signals or the flasher fuse?
No, but I do have an painless wiring kit installed. Not sure if that makes a difference

Great Video. Will these same headlights work on the 69 Charger?? Thanks.
Thanks, Marc. They should, a buddy installed the same set on his 69 Charger.
Great video, thanks!👍
Thank you! 👊🏻
I think for looks , like strictly 4 aesthetics, you should have only swapped out the high beams for LED , or vice versa, it would have looked cool 😎
Add to cart😎
Do it!

They were. I always had issues with my headlights. The new LEDs work amazing.
