- In this video we upgrade the Datsun 620 from old school halogen headlights to Octane LED headlights . The end of the video shows the originals vs the Ocatne LEDs ...the results are amazing! Link to the lights I used are below.

Huge difference Ernie! Good work. I'll be watching for more of the build!
Thanks Chris!
Thanks for the video! Immediately went to Amazon to pick these up for the truck after seeing these results.
Awesome man! Comment back when you get them in! Do you have an instagram?
jack stand light haha hey I got one of them too!
Great video Ernie!
Thanks!
😯 ima get these for mine forsure man
Do it man. A lot of bang for the buck and it is easy to do.
FYI you worked why to hard getting the rubber boot back on. The LED's bulbs themselves come attached to the round platform that the spring lays on top locks down on. The LED is attached by 2 tabs and all you do is turn to the left and pull up at the same time. It comes off then place the rubber boot on then line up the tabs on the LED and turn right lightly until it stops. DONE!
Hi, just checking would this headlights be the same as the Datsun 160J 1979 (PA10). Am thinking of upgrading the quad headlights to LED as well
Yes, they should be exactly the same. Good luck!
Hey man quick question, I have a 1974 620 and I wanted to see if the same link you provided will fit my truck. According to Amazon, they wouldn't. But I also checked '1973' because of your model and it says that it wouldn't fit either. I'd appreciate your feedback
Yeah dude, just rechecked the link and those are the ones I bought. Pretty much any 5 3/4 inch light should fit. All the cars back then had to use standard 5 3/4 inch or 7 inch round lights. But yes, the ones in the link are the exact ones I put in my 73 620. Good luck!
Thanks for responding so quick, like you said it is a bit scary driving at night but hopefully these solve the issue. Thank you.
@@jrfromacrossthestreet for sure man. Yes, put them in your truck, it feels so much better to drive at night with them. Let me know how it turns out. If you have any questions you can message me on Instagram @banditotroquito
I see LEDs for my 78 620 on eBay for four at 99.00
Yeah there are hundreds of choices out there. Some of the cheap ones burn out or get condensation or water in them. Check the ratings. I wanted ones that were glass and looked kind of stock and had a good warranty.
