Awesome video Julia! Love the look of your pack. I’ve seen in the comments you’ve found the drainage holes in the bottle pockets 👌 Hope you have an awesome time when you head out for the pct! I love my atom packs, best packs ever and like you mentioned. It’s great to support the uk companies. ✌️ Ben.
Great review! You should have little corner cut outs on the side pockets for drainage. The Mo has the vertical side compression straps. Shame about the bottom pocket, but the opening elastic should be rolled around a few times so that you can “tuck” things in and make sure it’s secure behind that “lip”. I love my Atom packs, think they’re great!
OMG - I've had a better poke around my pockets and you are absolutely right, there are small cut outs in the pocket at the bottom. I will add an edit to my description (thanks for that). I will try rolling out the elastic flap and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for taking the time to comment Oz, this was really helpful for me.

Like you I find this pack very comfortable to carry - probably the best I have owned. Until I saw your video I hadn't realised other were also combining the pack with the Roo. I do that - and it does fit with the hip belt which is great as I think hip belts are essential for transferring some of the load to the hips from the shoulders.
I'm glad you like your Custom Mo (i'm tempted to buy one of their new Nanu day packs when they are back in stock for my club walks). What colour(s) did you choose? I don't have hip belt pockets, but I can't imagine walking with a full pack and not having a hip belt - as you say it helps to distribute the weight. The roo pack is great (and such a better name than a fanny pack!). Thanks for taking the time to comment David. Happy Hiking 🥾- Julia
