I have the Bondi X and rarely use it- the short tongue drives me nuts- the current batch of ASICS are just so much better for me than the last batch of Hokas. I am currently running in the Nimbus24 which I think is close to perfect. What to you think?

Love my Bondi X but only because I picked them up for under $100. Love the shoe and the energy return I get with the carbon during miles 8 and beyond.

The carbon fiber plates don’t come cheap. Maybe that’s why, especially the inflation these days…

bondi x can be used for tempo run upon checking, glide ride 3 could be if you want to lower the pace..

I wasn't that impressed with the v2 Glideride, only did about 75 miles in them before selling them on so the jury is out on whether I'll get the v3 🤔

Great review. Would also be curious to see a comparison between the Glideride and the Reebok Energy X, which tag price is high but I manage to get one for €104, while the Asics‘ will never get that low even after a few months in the market. Would the japanese cruising thank still bring more value to justify the extra bucks?

I got my Glideride at 40 Euro about a month ago. The price varies on colour. Edit: On the official Asics webshop.

@@QnA22 had completely forgotten about this post. Matter of fact I also got a Glideride 3 at about 60Eur on their website. Still need a few more runs in them to make up my mind. All I can say so far is that they are not meant to go easy, but “heavier” to go too fast. Need to get adapted to go long with them, but that’s where I believe they will shine.

@@brunocassettari Ahh, great to read you got a good deal. For me the weight is not an issue. For me, the run gets most comfortable at any speed faster than 10,5 km/h. Below that, i get a sluggish feeling from them. Maybe because of the weight.
