I actually got this shoe in June at a TJMaxx for $19.99. Best twenty I’ve ever spent.
Would love to know how it compares to the Maxroad 5, Mach 4, Shift, and Boston 10.
That's a lot of comparisons, a bit softer than Maxroad 5 but comparable feel with the rocker (much better upper than the Maxroad), loads better than the Boston 10, much softer and forgiving than the Shift though the rocker and roll through the stride is similar
How does it compare to Novablast 2 or Novablast 3 if you have had a chance to try the 3?
Really curious too! I loved the Novablast 2 but the upper on my left shoe just ripped randomly after only 269k of daily running, which totally sucked! Had to return the shoes and still waiting for my money back. I must admit I am quiet skeptical about buying another shoe from ASICS in the future.
It doesn't. It's a shoe for a different runner.
Evoride 2 is one of the best (and most criminally underhyped) shoes I own. Since running in it I've been really wanting to try the glideride for my long runs. Decided to wait for the v3 to drop and now super hyped to get my hands on these. Loving the reviews, as always.
The ASICS Tri Noosa 14 is a wonderful shoe as well I love my pair for all my runs except easy
MAJOR! MAJOR PART! -to this shoe is the Reinforced Plate = the Plastic plate is sandwiched in the middle of the ff blast + and FlytleFoam Propel which gives you that rocker feel. This shoe at $150 is a great deal!
Can't wait to pick these up since I've run through my current rotation a ton. Saw a neon green color on a EU site somewhere that I prefer over the blue one, hopefully it's real 😂
Why the men's colorway is meh boring, not exciting to me, but the women's colorway is? At least last year's GLIDERIDE 2 flagship colorway had something to the colorway.
Is it the only colorway?
There will be more colorways coming soon, but currently the navy blue one is the only option for men.
Sounds like a major go. What would you compare it to? Better than the More V3? 1080 V12? Closer to the Triumph or the Glycerin? A heavier Speed 2? Best shoe of 22 so far?

the fit of these is really weird imo. my feet are very average width and size 10 US in nearly every brand. The width and volume of the toe box is cavernous. and yet my big toe feel encroached upon from the front ... this is borderline painful especially when running downhill, even a little bit downhill. anyone interested in a lightly used pair?!
Perfect? uhmmm.... yes almost , but for my foot ABSOLUTELY BAD for toebox, returned after 6 hours. Recomended only If you have narrow forefoot. Disappointed.
When does shoe designers will think about the real foot shape?
And no, Altra or Topo only aim to satisfay people who have lond big toe.

Interesting. Personally I don't like my Glideride¹ at slow paces. It's the mid tempo where the fun starts for me.
The foam and rocker design really come alive when I push it.
So, Glideride - a daily trainer? Strange pick for me. Novablast - yes, that's a nice cruiser.

Any experience about gravel getting stuck in the guideline on this one?
I love Glideride 2, but once in a while I have some running on gravel roads and it’s absolutely impossible to use Gliderride 2 there since you cannot (literally) run 10 meters before you have stones/gravel getting stuck in the guideline. Since it’s the soft foam exposed inside the guideline the stones will not let go until you stop and manually remove it. Extremely irritating in such an otherwise amazing shoe.
I really hope Glideride 3 can handle this better.
My GlideRide 1 is still holding up very well after 720+ km of running - upper, midsole, outsole and the "rocker" feel. Especially worth mentioning is the outsole - it shows minimum signs of wearing off, the markings are still very clear & visible. I think my current pair can probably clock above 1000 km of mileage.

I'm sorry but I never want to hear any complaints about a shoe that is so light for your weight. For many of us, our racers weight more than your versions! Plus you have significantly shorter levers for carrying that weight...
How about trying to understand what he meant about the weight before getting your knickers all twisted

Unless Megan posts a review against a pair of NB More v4, we are not really convinced that she likes it 😅
Wish they could’ve kept the v1 look. The v1 in white with gold accent is still one of the best looking designs.
I'm unsure what to get for my next pair of running shoes out of options below, currently clocked in at almost 600km with evoride 2 and definitely loved everything about this shoes (especially the firm ride and lightweight features), priority usage as daily trainer at pace 5-6 per km or even tempo pace lower than 5 per km (also owned nike peg 37 for mid to long easy pace):
Evoride 3 - pretty much retained all key features and even lighter this new version at same attractive price point $120
NB Rebel V2 - lighter and even bouncier than evoride 2, slight concerns on durability and stability perspective
Glideride 3 - slightly heavier than evoride lineup but with incredible max cushion and softer ride, higher price point at $150 though

Nice! Think I'll pass on this one. The Glideride 2 didn't work out for me. Just seemed look too much shoe. Don't love the huge angling up in the front. Seems like it takes me out of my natural gait too much.

To other comments, second on a comparison with Novablast 2. I just got the Novablast 2 LEs and they are amazing.
Kind of different shoes, Novablast is a daily trainer that can transition to tempo while this is more of an easy day/long run shoe... both great in their respective categories

Robbe here, got to them late but have put in a long run and several daily runs... absolutely love the shoe as a smooth roller

@@chinitopogi7511 You could in a pinch, the rocker helps it propel but not an ideal tempo shoe, a bit softer and heavier
Brandon and Meg are a great duo in reviews. Huge fan of the entire BITR crew but they seem to work well together.

I was so underwhelmed with the v2 of the Glideride especially after the hype from many shoe-tubers, so I hope the v3 is a better shoe overall because I'm debating if I should get this or try the Novablast 3?
These two shoes are for two different runners, with different gait patterns/different preferences. If you made an informed choice, these one of them would immediately disappear from your list.
