Interesting looking line, I wish CS would make a trail size bundle of the products. I would love more volume, but the price tag to try all 6 products is high if they don’t work. I don’t mind the price tag of quality products when I know they work, but I’ve learned it’s wise to try a sample size first.
Oh, yes please 🙏🏻!!! This would be awesone!!! And sure for you @Swavy Curly Courtney as someone living and loving the curly hair science 👩🏼🔬 a test to be very helpfull and informative for all of us!!!
Just saw this line advertised earlier today-I definitely want to try it! I’m kind of hesitant to use bout the leave in and the lotion though…would you suggest using both? Or could you use one instead of the other? Thank you for this video!
I bought the plumping leavin and mousse last week (Ulta had a 20% off coupon) as all I need for my fine yet dense loose waves/curls is a leave in and mousse or gel. I adore this line and the Air Dry Cream has been a staple for years but couldn't resist this new leavein as love the scent of this line. The mousse was what I was most excited about as couldn't understand why they hadn't had one all these years considering "foams" are garbage for loose hair types and offer zero hold and always leave ny hair feeling dirty/heavy on top of doing nothing for definition or frizz like their protein one lol. Love creamy gel mousses as they last forever per product going such a long way and their didn't disappoint. These 2 have definitely become my new favorite styles in my arsenal. I think it is overkill using every product in this line or any at once as she does because they all have the same benefit of volume and even testing can't tell which actually does the most. I love her hair and videos but hard for me to believe she has fine hair as mentioned in past because even as dense as my hair is I could never in life use 2 leaveins, a root spray, and moisturizing mousse without my hair looking like I hadn't washed it in months lmao. I appreciate Curlsmith always giving options as all these products are meant for in my opinion and this has become my favorite line between results and the amazing fresh fruity scent and pink labels as a bonus. I have never recommended a line more because regardless of being marketed towards curls I always buy for ingredients and all their products really are the best formulations I have ever seen in haircare period including any spa and salon insanely priced i have tried, skincare quality, compared to other curl brands that are full of way too much protein, silicones, butters, heavy oils, coconut and so on primarily for thick kinky curls but not working for many. Most of my friends and family have straight hair and I recommend CS just the same for the rare quality it is! ❤
How does this mousse compare to their volume foam from the strength line? I love that brands are making mousses that work like gel (AG has one too and I LOVE it) bc I prefer mousse for the volume but want it to have a bit more hold.
I have fine hair and I tried the mousse for the first time yesterday. I was almost afraid to put it in my hair. It feels very heavy and moisturizing compared to the foam. Thankfully it didn't weigh my hair down but I would probably use less mousse next time.
I'm personally interested in trying out the mousse! I have their strength shampoo and conditioner and wasn't a fan. I also have their full body thickening lotion that was part of the scalp recipe and is now discontinued because they released the full body volumizing lotion, checking the ingredients it's almost the same thing and i don't see much (or any) difference when using it. I would skip that for sure. I've never tried any root lifting products so that l don't know... Besides the mousse, maybe the leave-in could be nice.
@@dennissemsI'm thinking of doing the same. Was that good enough for the results you wanted? I really love my bar shampoo and conditioner and I just need after shower care to maintain the curls I get from my bar shampoo and conditioner.
@@Jesi-g yes. I got the results I wanted. I feel like there’s a difference between my regular stylers versus the new stylers. I also love my Vida Bars shampoo and conditioner.
I was literally going through my collection of mousse and was thinking "Curlsmith should make a mousse. I bet it would be awesome." Thank you for reviewing these!!
@@suzannahstan I actually love that one, lol. I don't use it for styling as much as a lightweight protein leave in. It helps me with curl formation, but everyone's hair is different, which I find beautiful. I hope you have found something that works well for you ☺️💝
I love the results on you! I’m curious, though. Since I am one who stays away from leave-in like you, do you think you’ll skip that step next time just see if you get even more volume? I’m so glad you tried the whole line, just wondering if you’ll tweak based on knowing your hair needs.
Does the mousse hold on its own? Or should we use a stronger hold gel on top of mousse? I can't wait to try this line. Do you have to use the whole line to get volume? If you had to choose which product do you like the most out of this line? Sorry for all the questions. You had a very good washday.I love your results and Curlsmith products.
I have fine wavy damaged hair. In a different video, you recommended adding protein, which has made a big difference in the definition of my waves. I used Curlsmith and am looking forward to trying their volume line.
Thank you Courtney for such a detailed video of how all the products work together. I used your code and bought them all! Your results were amazing, I can't wait to try them on my hair!!
Thank you Courtney ! These products look great. I couldn’t use the leave in with the mousse as my hair is too fine. The Root Boost looks good and the mousse looks good. Excellent presentation 🌷🩷🌷🩷🌷
I’m not sure where to suggest topics, so I’m going to do it here… I’m at the beginning of my wavy graying hair journey and would like to know what I might need to do differently from those who are not graying. The few grays I have are very different in texture and curl pattern, so how do I meet the needs of both my brown and gray hair?
I just discovered Curl Smith volumizing products. I really like the Core strength and will try the full body weightless cleanser very soon. My hair is on the fine frizzy side and not much definition. After one use of the Core Strength, I had such definition of waves. Its like I didn't know I had such waves....
I am trying to see if I need the lotion and the leave in conditioner. I currently use the only curly custard and Harry’s gel. I have low porosity hair that’s fine so leave in's usually weigh my hair down too much and after many products narrowed down to those two. So I’m very curious to try this. Thanks!
I absolutely love your energy. Although, we have different textures, I find your reviews so helpful. Lord help me... MORE Curlsmith products, I (but not my pocketbook) will surely LOVE.... AARGH ;) ha ha.
I can’t highly recommend Fudge Expander foam for wavy hair that needs volume as well. Not specifically for curly wavy hair but it works treat and has built in heat protection also. This curl smith line looks fabulous I must say!
This Curlsmith line for volume is what I been waiting for. They have done it again.I love there products. Great results on your hair.I love that Curlsmith has all good natural ingredients in their products. My hair needs volume I have to get these products.I think they should create a hair growth line to grow longer hair then they would have every product line for every hair type out there.
Wow your hair looks amazing! One of your best wash days!! Now that Curlsmith has two different foams, could you do a comparison of the two? My heart wants them both buy my wallet said I gotta pick just one.
I got ao excited when I saw curlsmith release their products yesterday! Curious to know what differences there are between the volumizing lotion and the thickening lotion from their scalp recipe. And that mousse is calling my name since I'm a mousse girly!
i saw someone ask this on curlsmith's instagram and the response said (paraphrasing) that the thickening lotion increases the space between strands of hair to make hair look fuller, whereas the new volumizing lotion plumps each individual strand from within to make hair look fuller
I have been waiting for this video since I saw these products online Sunday! Excellent review as always with your gorgeous hair 🤩. Thanks for your honest opinion!
Wow, oh wow!! You and I have very similar hair although mine never really looks as healthy and pretty as yours. But this makes me want to try these products! Mercy! I spend so much money on my hair these days!
Perfect timing! I just received the products yesterday so I'll have to try them on my next wash day. I wish you would have actually sprayed the root volumizer onto your scalp/roots. It seems like you barely used any of it.
It looks really good but it's a lot of steps. 🙃 I'd love to see your full styling routine. I've heard you mentioning plop recently and I thought you only microplopped.
Your hair is always GORGEOUS and the Day 2 hair looked great too!! I'm still a newbie (entering my second month of being a Wavy) and need to slow down on buying products lol but I'll have to add these products to my Wishlist!! I have a few requests for One Brand Washdays - an updated Flora & Curl, Amika and Desert Essence. Thank you!!

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for this line! I love Curlsmith. I appreciate videos because we have similar hair types (fine, wavy, struggle with volume), and I hope my results are even a fraction as good as yours! I placed my order this am 😁
This might be my next try. Just came back from the salon where I had the shortest cut I've had in awhile because I was so exasperated w my wavy/curly hair. I do need the volume and think my hair needs a change of shampoo/conditioner. Really hope it smells more fruity and not floral or it will be an absolute no for me. Thanks for the review.
*Nice Clumps* . I really like the Kinky Curly custard for clumpage, but the halo frizz has been awful every time I've used it on day two and beyond. Thanks for the review!
As soon as I saw this line had dropped I’ve been waiting for your review and you did not disappoint. My hair is on the finer side and I can use all the help I can get with volume. I want to get this line, but am concerned about the fragrance. You said it smells good, but is it strong? I don’t have an issue with any of the other Curlsmith scents except the moisture line, so as long as it’s not along those lines I should be okay.
