Thank you so much, PC Centric! Two months ago I knew absolutely ZERO about PCs, much less PC building. Your videos helped SO much to give me confidence that I could do it and helped with so much information that made it all possible. I just built my first PC today using the i5 12400 and RTX 3060, and it is whisper quiet and runs beautifully! I've already gotten to play with my daughter on it and my son loves it. I almost couldn't believe it actually worked. You rock!
i adore seeing comments like this, made my day man.
I am planning to buy this pc, is it still worth it?
Which peripherals do you have
thanks to you i feel more confident in buying my own pc parts and can easily follow your steps to put it together
Appreciate the help in building my first PC! I had only one problem which was using the display port on the motherboard which I fixed with your other video😅. Again appreciate all you do for us new to all things PC!
These are the exact specs I was going for, thanks for the video!!
Building my first PC, Was just studying your 1660 super build but now it's time to start studying this one lol!!
Intelligent , witty and very knowledgeable, love the basic humour and very good advice, my go to, for sourcing parts on a budget :)
This is a big help! I have been researching building my first pc for about a month now and this is by far the most helpful and easy to follow. Thank you!
Have you build yours yet?
Awesome build, great video you have another subscriber!
I planned this build in pc part picker and the price was £983 in the UK, great video once again.
I’m still holding my fire and being patient for that new GPU generation!
@Ben C links bro
@Ben C in what world do you live to build 4k pc got 750$? Even used parts.. let alone if you want to hit at least 60fps. Don't listen to this guy 🔺️🔺️
@Ben C jus buy the parts from other places than amazon for the best deal.
I’m following one of your 3080 gides to ensure I don’t mess up your videos really help me out and I appreciate your banter and commentary
Not in Australia they dam price to high for gpu 3060 is like $890 or $850 for one
@@futrama there 500 and 6600s are 300
Oh I’m in Canada where a 3080 is 1000$
when all is said and done, top bants.
Top bants indeed
Love your vids Marcus, keep it up
Can’t wait to watch :D
You are hilarious in the best way possible! Love your video's 🙂
Seems like a solid rig for the price. Still better than console. Love your videos.
this gives me hope🤞🏼
The moonwalk intro!!! Love it! And the semi wild hair! Very nice!!
love ur videos, keep it up
I love these videos keep up the good work and funny content
Love these videos thx
It’s really so good 😊
Hello! I love your content man!
What an Epic gamer PC
You make it easy and alot of fun in the processes
Awesome video! Looking for my first gaming PC I might go this exact build
It’s about 600 bucks now but maybe with Black Friday you can get for 500
I also went with a 3060 and an i5 12400F after my birthday, and I have NO regrets at all.
Ion finna cap I enjoy watching these😂
Nice. Very similar what I want to build
Man that I5-12400F Cpu is a beast. Will get that soon.
just built this myself for around 800 bucks. really satisfied.
Deepccol makes nice cases!
800 pounds and you pick it up with ease! super impressive
😂😂
😂
Pound sterling*
U can pick up 800 pounds?? 😂😂
Noone calls it that@@PhantomizedWasTaken
Excellent as usual. A build i am currently doing. Choose the 12400 with intergrated gpu to boost creative works besides gaming. Keep it up!
12400 is better for editing and stuff enit?
Thank god I can now get myself a better pc, I started out with a bad lab top that ran at 1 FPS now I have a modern computer that runs at 30 FPS, now I can get one with 100 fps
Nice video! I like that you showcased Apex on a 1440p monitor. This is my goal for my next PC build. I want to run Apex on a 1440p monitor at a steady 144fps.
thx for doing this bulid i really needed this to play some forbiden horrizen west
Thankyou soo much for showing what to do with the wires and stuff I'm close to buying the parts so I can build my own PC for my first time and I'm worried about not knowing where wires should go.
I just built a pc and this is pretty much exactly what I used XD
I love this channel
I've been searching for a long time for a pc around $1500 aud, and I think this is the one.
🔥vid
I fully approve of the f1 jokes and references 👌🙌😂
pretty cool
I've built a nearly identical system, but I used an i5 12600. In Fortnite if I change the rendering mode from DX11 to Performance, I get upwards of 300fps at 1440p. I set it to a constant 240fps to provide a stable gaming experience. If I drop down to 1080p on the same settings, I get between 400-500fps (depending on what I'm looking at). I know its obvious to state that reducing the graphics settings will improve the fps, but I just wanted to point out that if you're willing to sacrifice the look a little ('coz it still looks good in performance), then you can enjoy super smooth game play with this i5 & RTX3060 system.
so you have the exact setup but you use the i5 12600 and you get that good fps? Im just wondering because I am about to build a PC and I play fortnite mainly
@@landonlangley8456 yes pretty much. Has a different but comparable cooler and different case, but everything else is the same. I built a pc about a year ago with an 11th gen I5 and an rtx 2060, this new machine provides significantly better results when playing fortnite at the same “Performance” settings.
Thanks to you i can consider myself a master of pc building and gaming without actually owning a gaming pc or building one. However i’ve been thinking of getting a gaming pc while being on a budget but still wanting good performance and i thought of this exact same cpu and gpu combo before seeing this video. I then knew i was a master of pc gaming. While still being a dumbass
Lol wtf is that first sentence
@@cam9144 just theoretically. he knows what it takes to build a pc. let the man be happy lol
The F1 memes reference just made me subscribe
watching this on my new 3060 ti pc i just set up today!!!
If you want to play with all the Power, I'll highly recommend you to optimize it, like turn on ultra performance, disable the things that are not so important, and you'll get the full Power. I have pretty much same specs,(running on an i5-11400f and RTX 3060)and on Fortnite, with performance mode on, low settings(because high Settings don't help you, actually are making your game more laggy) and I get somewhere at 300-400 fps! So it's a good idea to make this Settings!
Having such high framerates are pointless if you dont have a monitor that can handle them... What's the point in 300+ frames per second when you have a monitor that can only handle 120 frames? Each MHz equals 1 FPS so unless you have a refresh rate at over 300MHz then you are wasting those extra frames.
I should also add that 120MHz is the most notable change and there's not much of a registered difference between 120MHz compared to 240MHz so ideally you shouldn't seek much more than like 150 fps as anything above that you wont barely notice.
Why do u need anything more than 144
Very nice build 👍 it’s also very similar to my build. I have 12600kf, 3060 ti, 16gb ram, but instead of the air cooler I went with an aio 👍
Is it the same price?
No big difference
@@v1bhu that graphics card is still expensive asf and the aio coolers are ridiculously priced as well
@@yukhzia i got 3060ti and 13400f
Would be interested in seeing a channel talk more about the longevity of GPUs (as well as other stuff) in more real, properly budget terms. I have a friend who has a 1650 super and he is scraping to save for a 3060 because it has the most vram of the non-bank breaking 30 series, as well as DLSS to help boost frames as well. This is because he has started to hit a wall of performance that is almost exclusively vram limited. I had a similar issue with a 960 where it was truly being held back by a lack of vram. A video talking about planning for the future that is 5+ years away and not just a generation or two of hardware would be useful and I never see people truly talk about planning for long life spans. Sort of like in this video where you touch on having a Mobo that can support future gen CPUs, but for people who are not upgrading every 2 years...
lolz.. You think the vram is the bottleneck? Its a prehistoric GPU released nearly 4 years ago. Your "friend" is going to buy a 3060 only to find out he just bottlenecked the CPU. Trying to upgrade GPU without upgrading the entire backbone (MOBO + CPU) in an older system is senseless and a waste of $$$. Your friend will spend more time rebooting from random crashes than playing. Followed by angry Reddit posts crying about what a pos the 3060 is. tell your friend to buy a new system, they're cheap.
"4 years"
"prehistoric"
lol what
Please add in some racing SIM’s to your tests, would be great!
THX :)
Me watching this from the toilet seat excited for my first pc build that I know is probably coming in half a decade 🫠
Hello pc centric I like your videos
Hey bro, i always love your videos, it gives a lot of information and understanding about pc.
I hope you could answer it, because it bothers me a lot, the question is, does SSD can read the games installed in another drive? Lets say you bought a 1TB of hdd then use it as storage only, does SSD read the games inside of it does it boot the games, because we all know ssd is faster, or hdd still reads it and does the work? Even there is no OS and it is only used as storage. Thank you for the knowledge and everything, have a nice day!!!

I just recently bought a Skytech pc for 899 on sale almost identical specs. Building a pc is fun but not for a rookie but the from watching this video I didn't get ripped off during these times. Great pc gaming with the rtx 3060 gigabyte as well as the 12th gen i5 12400f as the game card is what needed when not be getting a 12400k gpu which a pc gaming system is all about when a 12400f is needing to actually make a the PC function with the fact being f series gpu's need a game card to complete it's functionality. Read that myself
Keep it up
George Russel is the type of guy to watch pc centric
Almost done building this pc, my first pc ever 🙏
how'd it go?
@@kurrvana8124 I love my pc lol, almost a full month with this build and I’m very happy with it
@@tomascabrera1473 eyy good too hear, just got the rest of my parts in the mail today and im almost done with work ;)
I just got the rtx3050 build kinda sad this came out today but i will be happy with that
What are those lights in the background? They look dope. Also, a second question; do you think this would fit in nzxt h510 case?
For people who live in the USA. The Mirco center Intel value barebones kit is on sale for $600 as of today (price May change). The kit includes ASUS DUAL RTX 3060TI, ASUS TUF CASE (GT301, ASUS PRIME Motherboard (ASUS Z590-A PRIME), and a 750 watt Asus TUF PSU. Ensure you get Intel barebones value 2 as it offers better power supply (750 vs 650 watts) and OC ver of the Asus dual. Otherwise everything else is the same. Add in the Intel Core i5-11600K ($160), 16GB ram Gskill one is my fav ($55), 500Gb WD blue ($50), deep cool cooler ($30) that works out to about $895 or 748.62 British Pounds. Yes the motherboard is a generation old but you get a decent GPU and case for the money. Also I still feel 11th gen still has plenty of life left. There is also an AMD ver as well, again go for AMD value BB kit 2 for OC GPU and 750w watt PSU. The motherboard for AMD one is ASUs Strix B550-F. The case is the same the price $20 more since AMD Ryzen 5 5600x is $180 so around $915 or 764.49 British Pounds for AMD one with ram, processor, storage, and heat sink.
Overall it’s cheaper than building yourself and have amazing reliable ASUS components.
Also if you are willing to pay $100 more or 83.55 British pounds more. The performance tier comes with liquid cooling, better graphics card RTX 3070ti, better case, and better motherboard.
also, at some point i believe that the power connector will be large than a 24 pin connector, at some point
amd gps are good price rn, worth a look!!
You got any recommendations on some wifi adapters you mentioned you need for the motherboard?
I’m completely new to this but god am I lucky to finally find an English guide where I don’t have to pay a stupid amount of money for an American part that isn’t so cheap any more
Alert 🚨 amazing build here
You’re bloke accent is the main highlight of this vid😂
I generally do architectural modeling, rendering and detailing
Would a 3080 work in this build? I have some extra money and was wondering this.
This is the pc build I brought from cyber power, was a great set up which sparked my money wasting hobby
This is pc suit for videos editing
First time building a PC and went for this build (more ram and more ssd but otherwise exactly this one). I know it's not a step by step build video but the PC just won't turn on... Any ideas what I might've done wrong? Not the power and reset switch I'm sure.
Edit: my mobo was DOA. Replaced it with another exact one and all good.
Nice
Lol, very nice build.
Bro I just put a micro ATX z690 on 3060ti and 12400F instead of a full ATX one , won't there be a problem?
If you’re adding two more ram sticks to bring your total up to 32gb, do you place one set in slot 2 and 4 and the other set 1 and 3? Or do they go next to one another?
Awesome build love your videos very helpful. I’m new to the pc gaming scene. My rig came came with a 2060 non super. Dislike it. Just ordered a 3060ti founder’s addition. Hope it’s better then my old 2060…..
I’m new to this gaming world pc and it’s wrecking my nerves 😂I just wanna play My cod at 150 fps and up all these numbers! I ended up buying ram sticks thinking it’s gonna give me more video graphic memory 😂
could you please put the whole price off the pc in the video? 🙏🏻
How convenient
Can someone explain why the RTX 3060 Ti has only 8gb compared to the 12 of the normal 3060 but is meant to be better?
Hello there! I'm new to the channel and new to the realm of PC gaming, I just have one question... is there sufficient cooling in this build? Are there enough fans? I would love to know more about cooling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I dont really know how good the cooling in this build is. But if you want to you can always buy 3 or 5 extra fans for some extra cooling. It shouldnt really be a problem to not have that much cooling in a cheaper build tho. And like i said if your having problems with temps just buy some extra fans!
this ISNT the build you want if youre new. Its an Intel system, AKA: Doesnt come close to matching AMD for a fraction of the price. To answer your question: This should have had an AIO on the CPU. Everyone is a fanboy of cheap air cooling, up until the point they actually try an AIO. Theres a mountain of performance left untouched when using air cooling. AIO is the only way to go, especially if youre new to pc building. Its simple, and zero chance of harming your system. The future is AMD, Intel is soo far behind the curve right now and their future isnt looking too bright. Not an opinion.
that lever push was horrible cracking noise geeez
what software do you use to monitor your fps and stats for comparison... not the games but the software to look at your fps and oother stats please
Cool. Will this build run MSFS 2024 ?
I've been thinking about what parts I wanted in my pc and I wanted to know if I could use a 3060 ti with this instead. would I need to change anything else?
How do you figure out what parts you can switch out with which or what other parts (not shown in this video) are compatible with that mother Boared
I just paid 850€ for an i5 12400F with a 3060 (32gb ram)
Imma buy a visions version of the 3060 12 gb is it worth it? Or a ventus x2 is good enough?
Bono, my tires are gone.
I'm going to build a pc similar to this and I was wondering if live streaming would work well on a PC like this, I would be live streaming relatively light titles like Minecraft or Genshin impact, and my art live streams, I would be able to live stream ok on something like this or should I get a better CPU?
Get a 12600k
I couldn't get my CPU fan mount to fit completely but my temps are good. Is that OK?
Would a motherboard with WiFi still work on this build?
I just bought the cheapest prebuilt I could find with a 9th gen intel CPU, coupled it with with an RTX 3060, and it ended up costing one grand in total, a compromise I'm okay with considering that I'm wagie in a third world hellhole.
omg where??? ive been looking for some
Well played, wojak. Well played.
try a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1183w
@@AJ-47 Would've costed me 3 grand, jfl. This one grand I talked about was after 100% addon tax.
Shouldnt you take off the sticker from ssd if you have a motherboard with a heatsink plate?
You giving this pc away 😂
Quality stuff. I’ve been watching so many of your vids for pc info. Is now a good time to get a pc or will it be cheaper after Christmas? Looking around the £1000 mark
This year is the perfect time to buy, no need to wait till Christmas
For anybody interested, I've managed to get this build down to £972.47 (not including an OS) by shopping around for the same parts online.
