This game would have blown up so hard if Activision hadn't botched its launch by forcing everyone to buy the Digital Legacy edition
I hated them for doing that lol I remember I spent like 130$ or whatever it was for that edition and never touched Infinite Warfare . Then 6 months later they finally released them separately

Underrated remaster, put a lot of hours in on PS4/5, way more active there, even get DLC maps sometimes.
After BO4 and the release of MW2019/WZ I found myself going back to this game, new CODs are joke.
same I love MWR and I don't know why people hate it, I fucking love it and yes the new cods are terrible and I haven't bought one for years

This game died fast once they added lootboxes and new guns
I like the loot box system in this game and the new guns are fun gives the game a bit more variety. Sucks that the DLC map pack wasn’t free cause those maps never come up in rotation.
What a fantastic remaster man love it and yes i have it i actually bought the digital version i haven't played it for a long time played the shit out of it though for a good while i remember i was getting full lobby's on it but that's been several months ago God we just need a black ops 1 and black ops 2 remaster now with all the original multiplayer maps.
I absolutely loved this remaster and the blackops 3 lobby style too

This was the game that made me addicted to be a gamer back in the day, love it, simple gameplay and maps were perfectly sized and not over the top.
I still play this every week on my ps5 & just yesterday was playing search & destroy for hour half. Found 3 different games!
I bought it during the steam summer sale. Was my fave game back in the day. Best years of my life
This game took me away from Halo, and Halo was bomb back then. . .but this game was insane. The faster pace won it imo. So damn fun ha
I still play this cause the original COD 4 is my favorite COD. New CODs suck!

Every map is awesome in this game. At the end of the day, all unique and awesome.
I reinstalled mwr to play some prop hunt and I was extremely saddened that there's like rarely even like 1 lobby
Its a shame tis game never got the enchantments on Xbox one X like the Ps4 Pro did
I have the Xbox 360 remastered version, bruh my favorite part in the campaign is when you get shot down by a stinger missle and still survive
I have been trying to play COD4 remastered multiplayer for about 1 year...but hardly I get any matchmakings 🤷🏻♂️
On PlayStation I can always find games of TDM and at the weekend can find domination and s&d aswell
COD 4's greatness can be summed up with one word:
Balanced
I know because I was a closed development server multiplayer tester back in 2006.
Crossfire is the OG best map IMO.

They should remaster both black ops 1 and 2 into one game, all weapons and maps from both games, black ops 1 style wager matches and party game modes, black ops 2 class system and perks or possibly a combination of that and bo1 perk system/character customization, both campaigns remastered, all the zombies map all with all of the game modes from bo2 zombies, dead ops arcade, and anything else worthwhile that comes up from bo1 and 2.
Man after playing this game I dont think I could go back to to the modern cods! (Maybe only MW2019)
This one is more fun. Mw2019 is to slow. The maps make it running simulator and less runn and gun

There are still ppl playing the original version of this game. It's much faster to join servers, because they have an actual list with filters, instead of this stupid way of waiting ages until you can finally enter a match.
I loved this game. I had Prestiged to 11 such a great game but its harder to find lobbies

I don’t think anyone has asked this question but, we’re you tired of call of duty releasing every year and just want one remaster of an older game and what if the remaster of an older cod game was crap
I think the yearly cycle has gotten a bit redundant and it feels like it’s run it’s course now .. I’d prefer a game every 2 years but if the game is bad then you gotta wait awhile for the next one .. I’d rather them alternate so one year is a new cod then the next year is a remaster and go back and forth

I think there is some lobbies going on ps4 but I can’t confirm 100 % that was late last year . Maybe try asking on Reddit on one of the cod pages , I think someone will know better than me

I’m so disappointed. I just bought this thinking there would be at least a couple thousand people playing search and couldn’t find a game. Wish cod would go back to this. You could tell if someone was good. It took skill. Now anyone can do good.
So with this one there’s almost always a team deathmatch going anytime from like 12 eastern time to 10 eastern
You should return it if on Steam. CoD 4 original still has tons of multiplayer servers, although they will be half real players and half bots in the server. But hey you actually get all the maps not $10 map pack for maps that were already in the game.

What a pointless game that shouldn't exist. Boggles my mind that people were more interested in a remake of a game from 2007 without any of the 2007-era graphics (especially when it wasn't even a decade old yet), but then they hated on Infinite Warfare, which actually takes the series to a semi-fresh setting? CoD fans are total idiots, just want the same game year after year in slightly better graphics than last year.
Infinite warfare was the third jetpack game in a row , it wasn’t innovative or fresh at the point it released lol honestly I don’t see a problem with remastering some of the best multiplayer games of all time as long as it’s done correctly . These older cods are 10x better than their current product
