Modern warfare: remastered is a remaster of COD4 from 2007, meaning its the exact same game from 2007 but it has upgraded graphics to it. Modern warfare 2019 is a reboot of the series and is (obviously) also a new COD

Well most triple a games are putting all of their money into graphics and then rewriting the same story thats what call of duty has been doing for the past tenish years and when call of duty 4 came out it was still relatively a fresh idea and overall it was a fantastic game with decent aiming above average graphics for the time and this game was one of the best games i have ever played and im about to sound like a fucking boomer but you people were pretty much born into extremely high quality graphics and games like this were mind blowing for my generation and im mostly talking about just call of duty 4 not the remaster but even the remaster they didn't do much it more or less just a port to the new generation for people like me who have a attachment to x-box 360 games. Also they you can't compare a game that came out 12 years ago to a game that came out a week or 2 ago and even if the remaster only came out 3 years ago it was a remaster not a remake and they didn't want to ruin the feel of the game with brand spanking new graphics and thats not the way i will ever see the first modern warfare.
All they done for cal of duty 4 was up the resolution to 4K on the new enchanted consoles should compare one of the newer cods to this new release as their will be even less change between them.
When doing sound checks you should also include the sounds when you're moving around with a gun, that's what I find the most satisfying, the sounds of the gear on your body moving with your running and surrounding footstep sounds, anyone else agree?
@@depressoexpresso8248 idk, sure the concussion is much more present, but if you removed the concussion, the new guns all sound the same whereas the MW4 each gun has its own sound. Concussion is more realistic in the new one, but for specific gun sounds I'd go with the original

One thing I could really appreciate about the game was the snapping and cracking of bullets flying above your head. How realistic it was; was frightening almost.

They probably could have done better with modern warfare remastered’s graphics, but that’s not really the point of it. It still looks and feels similar to the original and that’s what a remaster is supposed to do, polish up an older game for a new generation of consoles and players.

Neither the weapons sound as good as in battlefield and the overall sound is extremely confusing for someone who plays rainbow, where steps and gunfire are perfectly made in order to locate.

What also I presses me, is when you suppress rifles like the m4, you can see the increased gasses coming out of the ejection port just like the real thing.
What impresses me about the M4, is how the character NEVER hits the bolt release, when putting in a new mag. You're running around with an unloaded gun. But...it still kills people. Go figure!
I think the campaign is really good, reminds me of Arma and Swat 4 with the night mission. Camping is a problem, mostly because the maps aren’t as easy to learn as the traditional 3 lane multiplayer maps

Another fairly small feature that for some reason makes me very happy: full body awareness. When you look down you see your legs/torso etc. it always helps me feel less like a floating eyeball with a gun in FPS games
I’ve checked this because I always like seeing it; in campaign it doesn’t show, in multi, it does, and in spec ops, it doesn’t. I don’t know what’s up with that.
I kind of liked the limitation to weapon loadouts in COD 4. Making it so nobody could just have a perfect setup, there was restraint and people had to work within this restraint to find what worked best for them.
That's what I like about the old modern warfare is that your only limited to having a couple attachments to guns and not anything that's fucking well I put in 100 attachments

One thing that I love in Modern Warfare 2019 is that you can hear the bullets shells hit the ground when it leaves the gun, another thing is that you can also hear the empty magazine hit the ground when the player reloads

What impressed me the most is the performance of Modern Warfare! I have been playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint a lot lately, and the performance on my computer was terrible. I had to turn the settings down to medium/low to get a solid 60 FPS. In Modern Warfare I set everything to the highest settings, and it ran much smoother, close to 60 (or even above) all the time! And it looks better as well!
The Maps are a little bit smaller at CoD ;) Look at the groundwar mode. The graphic isnt that detailed like at the smaller maps. You cant compare that. As a said: open world vs small maps. The viewing distance etc.

I thought about getting the new MW for the story, but after putting up with Warzone, every time I see that lobby menu with the characters walking I want to throw up. Definitely enjoy COD4's simpler mechanics more. I don't need the slide cancel and infinite stamina super speed sprinting.
Im in the military, you missed on thing that I thought was great for the new game, when you have your nvg's on (night vision goggles) you tilt your weapon and use the infra red laser. We do it because our nvg's get in the way lol but when I saw that little detail it really blew my mind. BONUS: in the campaign when you use artillery and he said " splash", that is a term we use over the radio to say "blow those motherfuckers up" hahaa
Splash is a term to indicate that the Artillery round is about to impact. "We need Mortar fire" "Rounds complete" "Splash,Out" Same with Airstrikes "We need a bombing run" "Thunder 2-1 fangs out" Fangs out is a term that describes that the plane is about to attack

The improvements in this game actually put a smile on my face. I never thought I would say this about a call of duty game, but the graphics had a huge jump, the sound design is miles ahead of the last game, the weapon recoil is amazing. But don't worry, the campers are very much still present, so its still a call of duty game.

RTX kills performance, even on a 2080 Ti you would only get 2070 like performance if you went for RTX Ultra. What he's saying is that now the 2080 T can at least run the game maxed out like it's supposed to.

Both of their sound effect seems recorded in studio. Echo can be heard even while firing in empty open field and effect stays exactly same when firing in closed quarters. After Ray Tracing, Environment mapped Sound effect should also be produced for more realism

This to me is the first call of duty to take a really big leap, I normally buy every call of duty every year, but if tryarch can't compete and only does a little bit extra like they normally do, for the first time, I won't bother with next's years cod at all. I love the gameplay of this new one, and it has still that cod feel with a hint of battlefield which I like. To me, this is the best cod by a long shot.
The one thing about the dynamic shadows in modern warfare is that I hate the delay on your own shadow, it keeps making me think that there’s an enemy behind me

I am not an Arsenalogist (or whatever you call the one who studies about weapons) but i loved the sound quality of Modern Warfare (2019) and i think it's more realistic (which can be wrong cuz i am not a weapon expert)
honestly, i prefer the modern warfare remastered shadows over the ultra sharp shadows in the MODERN modern warfare. bcos shadows are not that sharp in reality, especially not the ones that are casted from far away objects like trees.
The sounds of the gunfire and explosions in the new MW sound a lot better. You can actually hear the sounds of the brass being ejected from the weapon and the gunfire sounds much more full and realistic also the sounds of the mag swap sounds realistic, the explosions seem to have more depth and realism to them as well. Overall it brings a new depth to the game.
Imagine how Remaster of Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2019 version will look like! (It will be more realistic than my shitty life surroundings for sure)
Conclusion: modern warfare is better than modern warfare.

What impressed me the most is the performance of Modern Warfare! I have been playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint a lot lately, and the performance on my computer was terrible. I had to turn the settings down to medium/low to get a solid 60 FPS. In Modern Warfare I set everything to the highest settings, and it ran much smoother, close to 60 (or even above) all the time! And it looks better as well!

GR breakpoint game is close to its break point.
The Maps are a little bit smaller at CoD ;) Look at the groundwar mode. The graphic isnt that detailed like at the smaller maps. You cant compare that. As a said: open world vs small maps. The viewing distance etc.
I had to sell Breakpoint 1 week after buying it, I looks and plays terrible on PS4. Don’t know why Wildlands played so much better

I thought about getting the new MW for the story, but after putting up with Warzone, every time I see that lobby menu with the characters walking I want to throw up. Definitely enjoy COD4's simpler mechanics more. I don't need the slide cancel and infinite stamina super speed sprinting.
Im in the military, you missed on thing that I thought was great for the new game, when you have your nvg's on (night vision goggles) you tilt your weapon and use the infra red laser. We do it because our nvg's get in the way lol but when I saw that little detail it really blew my mind. BONUS: in the campaign when you use artillery and he said " splash", that is a term we use over the radio to say "blow those motherfuckers up" hahaa

The improvements in this game actually put a smile on my face. I never thought I would say this about a call of duty game, but the graphics had a huge jump, the sound design is miles ahead of the last game, the weapon recoil is amazing. But don't worry, the campers are very much still present, so its still a call of duty game.

I have an rtx2060 16gigs of ram with an i7 12 cores and my computer can't handle playing squad on the lowest graphics settings, console's better than computers in 2019 imo

RTX kills performance, even on a 2080 Ti you would only get 2070 like performance if you went for RTX Ultra. What he's saying is that now the 2080 T can at least run the game maxed out like it's supposed to.

is it tho i mean this game is boring, it just gives these graphics, that we dont go insane for, because when you add to many shadows and polygons, its impossible to paly them, i mean i miss buying a 60 dollar console and buying a cod game for 10 dollars and just enjoying it for years, compared to what its like now when they make you spend 300 dollars on a console at the very least, or you spend 1 grand on a pc, and then you gotta pahy voer 60 dollars for a hgame noone plays because its boring and its impossible to play like an esport.
and btw this guy has an rtx 2080TI and hes having frame drops which i have on R6 with my ghetto 6 year old pc that was a budget build for its time.
i cant afford 1 grand for something to play a game but my xbox it somehow can.

Both of their sound effect seems recorded in studio. Echo can be heard even while firing in empty open field and effect stays exactly same when firing in closed quarters.
After Ray Tracing, Environment mapped Sound effect should also be produced for more realism
Definitely agree I love when I hear guns echo in the background noise on some maps but never understood why players guns never did

I wish more people knew about it, because it's a breath of fresh air. But as good as Sandstorm sounds, Modern Warfare is more authentic to me. Shooting guns for me is a passed time in the south, so we know our guns.

This to me is the first call of duty to take a really big leap, I normally buy every call of duty every year, but if tryarch can't compete and only does a little bit extra like they normally do, for the first time, I won't bother with next's years cod at all. I love the gameplay of this new one, and it has still that cod feel with a hint of battlefield which I like. To me, this is the best cod by a long shot.

Finally, a Call of duty game reached the sound design quality of Battlefield 3.
I am not an Arsenalogist (or whatever you call the one who studies about weapons) but i loved the sound quality of Modern Warfare (2019) and i think it's more realistic (which can be wrong cuz i am not a weapon expert)

honestly, i prefer the modern warfare remastered shadows over the ultra sharp shadows in the MODERN modern warfare. bcos shadows are not that sharp in reality, especially not the ones that are casted from far away objects like trees.

ohhh, now i get it. they are comparing modern warfare remastered with the MODERN modern warfare, not the OLD modern warfare. got it.
The sounds of the gunfire and explosions in the new MW sound a lot better. You can actually hear the sounds of the brass being ejected from the weapon and the gunfire sounds much more full and realistic also the sounds of the mag swap sounds realistic, the explosions seem to have more depth and realism to them as well. Overall it brings a new depth to the game.
MW is the best call of duty that we’ve had since 2013.
Bo3 Multiplayer was much better.
