Thank you guys for all the nice comments here, it's been so nice connecting with all of you again and I really can't express how wonderful it feels to have such a kind and supportive community 😊 I definitely will still continue playing the violin and will have some new music for you soon, but it just might not be as frequent as it has been in the past. I have every intention of figuring this out though so I can get back to feeling normal and making more music to share with all of you! In the meantime, I'd really like to share some more vlogs like this with all of you so I can still stay connected with everyone on a more regular basis! I have been dealing with chronic neck pain for 8 years now. All started with turning my head too fast. My nerves running from my neck down my left arm are shot due to an old injury from when I dislocated my shoulder. It’s something that has really set my life back.

I relate to this so much after dealing with back/disc issues and nerve pain that was compounded by pregnancy and lifting/carrying a baby. Covid closures delayed physical therapy, and then the anxiety sets in. . .
Thank you for being so candid in explaining what you’ve been dealing with. I hate that you’ve gone through it and hope you’re well on your way to a healthy functional neck. I am grateful, though, to hear someone who has gone through something similar speak about it.

Glad you are prioritzing your wellbeing. I haven't had anything nearly as bad as you, but I know from experience once those bad muscular-skeletal issues set in, breaking out of them is HARD. Wishing you continued healing and wellness.

Hey Taylor, I am sorry to hear about the resurgence of your neck issues, even though I'm glad you got to spend so much time with the kids and other family and friends this summer. I am looking forward to supporting your new ventures and even though all of this has meant a break from music videos, don't worry, my Patreon support isn't going anywhere. I have so much respect for women who are working and taking care of their families. my mom had to take unpaid leave for about 17 years because 3 kids is a lot of kids and every single one of us was difficult in his own way. But now I'm 25 and a Software Engineer because of my mom. My mom made me and me younger brother engineers.
you can take as much time off as you want. your health and family is worth every single second of your time. we can wait even if it takes 17 years.

I am myself dealing with stress and depression. I always listen to your violin covers a lot to help Calm myself And distress. I'm glad you're taking a vacation and doing family time no matter what you still have all your hard work for people to still listen to on spotify And UA-cam. I will always keep it in my favorites since I am a big fan of anime. lol. I wish you luck on recovery and Less harsh times of the pandemic. Even if Winter comes so will your family. It was the one time when my family all came together when we had no power since we had that mass snowstorm where I lived we had candles, board games, and A lot of homemade hot Coco and soup. It was the one time my family all got together and got along.
I am excited to hear this new album! And I’m sorry you have had so many back and neck issues, sounds very uncomfortable 😢. I hope you are able to get relief from it too!!

The neck is really important body part hopefully it keeps getting better. I'm glad that you're working so hard with your multifaceted approach instead of jumping to surgery it's really much better if it can work. Sometimes the slower path is best.

Hey Taylor! I've been your fan for a few years. Your music really got me through a lot of dark times and the sound of your violin has really given me a lot of peace. Please (x10) take care of yourself and its ok to focus on your family from time to time. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that its ok if videos arent as regular anymore as long as youre healthy and happy!
Hope you feel better soon! I love your videos (huge Zelda fan here!) I'm currently learning piano, but I feel the same way you do about classical music. I still love it, but am definitely more passionate about learning and playing music from movies (John Williams had a huge influence on me) and, of course, video games 😉☺️

I can totaly relate to all you said in the video (excapt maybe the kids stuff) I hope youll get better. Im also thrilled for the merch since I was trained classicle and heavily irish and to this point I often was stuck to the irish love since its like you said often very ignorant on the classicle side.

I totally understand. I don’t play the violin, but I do have children. And I started developing neck issues after holding/carrying around my second child. It led to vertigo and difficulties doing everyday things. So I feel for you. I bet your issues are even worse because of the nature of your job. Thank you for sharing. It is nice to connect with you on a more personal level. To see you as human and not just a UA-cam star. I really love your music. You play the exact kind of music that speaks to my soul. It is the style of music that I listen to. I have shown your videos to my niece who is a 14 year old violinist to inspire her. She also tends towards music from movies, but she also really likes folk and Celtic music. So I really loved being able to show her some of your folk style renditions of songs. Take care of yourself so that you can keep doing what you love, because we (fans) love what you do.

I have been watching you since you were under a thousand subscribers and it has been so amazing to watch your career and your family grow but I think it's very important for everyone who enjoys your content and who has been with you throughout this ride to remember that you're still a human and you got to take care of yourself. I myself have also been struggling with some health stuff that has gotten in the way of some of the things I love to do and my career and in my experience it's just finding a balance it's important to do what you love and what provides but it's just as important to take care of yourself so that way you can continue to do those things as long as possible. I know we're all just hoping you feel better so that way you can find that balance between health and passion.
