I'm getting married next month, and my future husband just agreed to have this as the song that plays while I walk down the aisle. We met while I was reading The Lord of The Rings and I see no better option. Thank you!!!

@@foolofatook1271 that was one of my songs for my reception during dinner. Ugly divorce... lol

@@foolofatook1271 sad song ? 😢
What is the title of this song? I'm trying to find it to add to my wedding playlist :)
"I will not say 'do not weep', for not all tears are an evil"
-Gandalf the Wise
So much nostalgia!
Yea! First is is Gandalf the Gray & then Gandalf the white!
Never understood what Gandalf meant - NO tears are evil!
@@JohnM... well there are times when crying/weeping are not going to do any good. Those time require action, even if tears are entirely appropriate and justified, they might be more of a hindrance than a help. Then there are other times when there is nothing better than a good cry. Part of being wise is discerning which moments require action and which don’t. At least that’s my interpretation. I hope it helps
I find it odd that you attribute that quote to the imaginary character as opposed to JRR Tolkien from who's mind that wisdom comes.
WHY YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME CRY?!?!
"Here's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for" - Sam. This is so great, thanks!
Such a good sentence what Sam says. But the best part is the disc of "The Kings Return" is where Gandalf and his eagles come and take him. And then Frodo wakes up and he gets really happy that Gandalf is alive and his friends come. It is just... SUCH AN HAPPY PART!

A Musician is never late, nor early, and she arrives with a new song precisely when she means to. Thank You for this wonderful cover! Love from Hyderabad, India!
jaja dam right!!
As Gandalf sad so …
You get 269 thumbs up (at last count) and I get not so much as one in the same time period. I'm not complaining, mind you. After all, this isn’t a popularity contest. I'm just making an objective observation. 🧐
Which begs the question: How is your comment, and so many others who also get multiple thumbs up on her channel, so much better than mine? 🤔 I ask rhetorically.
It just goes to show, it's not what you know, but whom you know. The cruel, cold reality is - if one is not within Taylor's inner sanctum, one is treated like an outcast. 😔
Be that as it may, I do wish you all the best. Stay safe, stay well and keep the faith. 😉
what a lovely statement !! Peace be with you!!

Weddings or no weddings, this rendition is a blessing for any soul
Don’t know why this showed up in the algorithm, but I’m blessed that it did. What a beautiful rendition. Your talent is wonderful. Instant subscribe!
Me too! ❤️
Same man! You don't see this level of talent every day. Couldn't click subscribe fast enough!
Me too, love that Google knows everything about me, once in a while :)
Ikr? I'm just now seeing this too!!! Travesty!
Same.
Funny that this popped up in my feed. I actually picked this piece out for my wedding’s processional, way back in 2009. We used the original recording, but I timed it all out so my wife would enter at the part that happens around 1:45 on this video. We both love LotR and this piece really seemed like it was meant for a wedding ☺️
Awwww
We just loved your version Taylor!
Thanks for all the joy you bring to your songs.

My sister's wedding was yesterday and I walked my mom in to this song. I leaned over to the crowd and literally said "Im going on an adventure!"
Not only perfect for the wedding. This music can make my day. All day long. ❤
Beautifully played on a wonderful instrument. It has such a rich, mellow tone. At first I thought it was a viola. So glad I found you, Miss Davis. I will definitely listen to more of your work.
Our wedding is in 2 weeks and I just informed the DJ that this will be the song for the Wedding party, ring bearer, flower girl entering! This is the best cover of Concerning Hobbits that I've ever heard. Thank you Taylor for keeping the spirit of Tolkien alive, and my lifelong wish of having music like this in my soon-to-be-wife and I's special day!
Fitting that it will play for the ring bearer 😉 hope your wedding was lovely
@@tirzahmyers3392damn beat me to a ring bearer joke!
Bring forth the Ring bearer!!!
Taylor this was totally unexpected after a long time a marvellous cover of this song from lord of the rings 😍🥰❤️
Thank you Himalay! 😄
@@taylordavisviolin hey Taylor, waiting for rings of power violin pieces .....
Some may call it-an unexpected journey ✨
@@vickys221 Nah, us LOTR fans don't need Rings of Power.
@@vickys221 YOOOOO! That would be awesome!
Awww you're awesome! Seriously, I love your taste in music. You always cover such cute and beautiful songs! To be honest, I never saw such a YT musician like you who is still being original and keeping the same style which was the reason why many of us initially subscribed to you! Thank you for bringing smiles to our faces! :-)
I have so many memories tied to this music that 0:45 was basically an instant tears moment. Beautifully done.
Love this so much! My favorite song from LOTR. You did it so well! This sing definitely belongs on violin.
I have played this at several weddings! This song is actually how I found Taylor on UA-cam a few years ago! I was researching it after after a wedding request and found her version! Beautiful!
You’re amazing....absolutely loved this! I have always been a huge LOTR fan and this song is just so nostalgic and one of my favorites from the FOTR soundtrack ❤️
There is nothing more beautiful than watching an artist do what they love!
One of the greatest things about UA-cam is being able to watch these artists grow up and really make the platform their own. I applaud you Taylor and all the effort you've put in to your music and entertainment. Brava!
I’m planning my wedding and this is now one of the top contenders for the song that I’ll walk down the aisle to.
Beautiful rendition! This always gets me when listening to the LOTR soundtracks. It speaks of such innocence and purity, it just breaks your heart every time, knowing all that the hobbits endured throughout their epic journeys. 😢
I just finished rewatching the entire LOTR Series just yesterday. Some things are just meant to be. Still some of the best movies ever. And some of the best soundtrack themes too!
It's always amazing seeing someone do their job when they love it. It like sucks you in and envelopes you.
Music that touches the soul and makes us long for happier times, home, sunny days, and those long lost days of our youth...thanks that was beautiful ❤
I just picked up my violin for the first time in years to learn these songs, this is fantastic inspiration
The nostalgia is so real... oh, my gosh. Beautiful. You are an exceptional musician.
We had this music playing during our reception as background music ❤ The years are going by so fast!
This right here, is a masterpiece!!!
After a long time, a marvellous creation yet again!!
Thanks for this amazing tunes to cherish to, Taylor!!
I love this song. It’s derived from the same English folk tune that was used for the hymn, “This is My Father’s World.”
It lifts my spirits every time.
I've never heard that! Where'd you hear about the roots of this tune and "This Is My Father's World" being the same? What's the folk tune called?
@@MargoB I’m not sure what the tune was called. I know that for the hymn, the lyrics were written as a poem by a New York minister called Maltbie Babcock, and they were set to music by a guy in Philly called Franklin Sheppard. Sheppard used an old English tune his mother used to sing to him. He called it “Terra Beata,” though apparently there’s an older variation called “Rusper.”
The connection to the Hobbits’ theme in LOTR is easy to spot since the principle seven-note melodic phrase in both pieces is identical. Additionally the hymn is about finding God in the beauty of nature, which is about as Hobbity as it gets. Indeed the tune being called “Terra Beata” could also not be more appropriate. And what could be more English folksy than a Shire full of Hobbits?
It's true! Whenever my mother hears the melody of the Shire, she gets confused with the hymn. Greetings from Argentina 👋🇦🇷
I couldn't come up with the lyrics for either song, but "This Is My Father's World" was right there, just out of reach until I read this comment. Thank you for filling in that blank for me.
@@seangates1451 So cool!!! Thanks for filling me (us) in.
I'm so glad this showed up on my algorithm. What a beautiful cover❤ This really is perfect for any bride to walk down the aisle to
I hear the violin. The green is all about, the air is clean. My foot begins to move, the body jumps, the step is high and joyous. I dance, oh! do I dance. Thank for the lovely piece.
She Never fails to create a Masterpiece
Greatest channel I can always come back to for a smile
For some reason, this song always makes me cry happy tears. Also, the acordion accompanyment SOOOOO sells the rustic charm of this arrangement
It’s been ages since I’ve received any Taylor Davis’s videos. I’m truly happy she’s back on my feed, especially with such a touching song.
With almost three million followers, you are doing something right! This piece of music is incredibly difficult to play on the violin. You nailed it. Color me a fan.
I got married 8 days ago and this song is what I walked down the “aisle” to. My to be husband waiting in our garden, that this year we made our flower garden instead our vegetable garden in preparation. It. Was. Perfect🥰
'Hobbits really are amazing creatures, as I have said before. You can learn all that there is to know about their ways in a month, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you at a pinch.” - Gandalf
I just came back from New Zealand a few weeks ago, and while there I visited Hobbiton. This song brought back all those wonderful memories in full force, and I love you for it!
We actually did have Concerning Hobbits on our wedding playlist, as it's one of my partner's favourite pieces. Lovely arrangement
My wife and I had it as the song our bridal party walked in to.
I literally had this played at my wedding :) such an amazing song
it’s such a beautiful piece and you performed it amazingly, i also love how you kept your smile the whole way through
I walked down the aisle to that song...
This song played at a wedding at a renaissance festival would be a great combination. I think of this song when am I at faire, it fits well.
There’s just some thing so comforting about this tune, esp when well played like this. No matter what mood I’m in or what day I’ve had it just makes me smile, like a warm blanket
0:31 and I got goosebumps fr🥺❣️❣️🔥 and the opening made me cry... you're so blessed
A tear just came on its own. Man this music hits right in the feels. And then with such beautiful cover? I am moved! Great work!
"A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to"
I was already hyped that you were uploading a cover, then the hype increased 100% when I saw it was lotr. Amazing!!!
What is this violin size or name I don't know much about violins but what's this one she's playing.
Her smile is so great! While playing, you see her heart and soul! Magnificent!!!
Beautiful! The song and the violinist. Her musical abilities, and her smile are something to behold.
You can really make the music come to life! I like your music so much! When you upload, I click always as fast as I can bcs I know it’ll be good
I'm so happy I'm not married yet haha. LOTR has had a huge impact on my values and daily life as a fan of the movies since I was little, so I'm definitely booking this rendition (nice touches !) for my wedding. I'll tell my boyfriend "one does not simple get married to me, this is a condition". 😂
... Though it's difficult to NOT have tears whenever I listen to some of the absolutely magnificient soudtrack pieces (happy tears and nostalgia with Concerning Hobbits). #nocareforthemakeup
My son and I danced to this version at his wedding last December. The crowd went wild once they recognized the tune. He and many in attendance are big LOTR fans. It was a lot of fun to dance to and brings back happy memories every time I hear it.
The Violinist smile is completely engulfing and contagious.
The algorithm is never late, nor is it early. It recommends fantastic covers precisely when it means to.
Hai Taylor,
It's a long time since I have listened to an exceptional music like this..this is absolutely a soothing one..by the way most of your videos are now being a joint effort from you and jarred.. that's itself is appreciable..and hope your babies are growing up enjoying mammas talent...best wishes .
First notes gave me goosebumps, so beautiful played.

How wonderful that l chanced upon you on UA-cam. What a beautiful rendition of 'The Lord of The Ring.' I'm a follower instantly. 💙🥰💐👏👏👏
Not only do I love this melody and now want to watch lord of the rings, but I also couldn't help but notice the hylian shield hanging on the wall behind you. The song could certainly bring peace to the kingdom of hyrule. 😊
The style and timing of how the notes hit was incredible!
Im so glad this song showed up in my suggestions today! I miss watching your videos years ago. This was such a wonderful blessing. ❤️☺️
You bring my wedding to life again. Our pageboy brought the wedding rings on his neck while this music was played. It was amazing. Congrats for your fabulous work!
That sounds like an awesome wedding
I love the violin! Beautiful song!😊😊
Exactly what I needed to brighten my Tuesday! I’m so loving the folk style of these songs!
This piece was the theme of the Hobbits of the Shire and is a beautiful portraying happiness and playfulness. Great job. I haven't seen one of her music videos in a while. Keep 'em coming.
Great playing. ❤️❤️
I love how you spark so much joy when playing this. It felt like you were sitting there, right in the midst of a group of hobbits that's having a load of fun! Thank you so much for this beautiful cover!! Please never loose your big smile :D
The song is amazing. It has elements of joy and sadness in it. Truly a slice of life.
You can tell she plays from the heart. Awesome work!
Omg this is AMAZING!!!
I cannot believe I haven't found you sooner!
Keep this up!
I just subscribed :)
I love it!
Your violin playing is absolutely magical.
I love this! I've listened to it over and over, can't get enough of it! It's perfection all around, the perfect harmony of the strings playing at the bow's command, the cozy room and lights... It's beautiful and really reminds me of the adventures of great ol' Bilbo and Frodo. Thank you so much for this incredible piece!
Amazing !
Really I feel this music ..
Fantastic...❤
Beautiful Taylor
I'ts been an eternity since last time I stumbled on one of your videos. Your smile is even more brigth than in my memories. Glad to know you're still playing with so much passion.
My ex fiancé wanted this to be our wedding song. Then he cheated on me and kicked me out. I couldn’t listen to this for years without being upset/mad. Luckily I can listen to this beautiful song now with no ill feelings. This is a beautiful version!
Magnifique!!😊Merci beaucoup gros bisous à París 😘🙏
I never get tired of hearing varying renditions of Lord of the Ring music. Thanks for sharing your talent. Also nice Hylian shield you got on your wall.
That was incredible. I didn’t know previously that only the violin was used for that song.
Oh, it's violin day! First the Scishow video about Stradivari, now this !
Thanks, for helping me through the pandemic with your art Taylor.
Beautiful as all you play.
I haven't heard the sound of your violin for a long time and when I saw it on instagram it felt like coming back to a warm home. Thank you
A beautiful rendition of Concerning Hobbits. I could listen to this all day. Great job Taylor.
“Well, he could! In the Battle of Greenfields, he charged the Goblin ranks. He swung his club so hard it knocked the Goblin King’s head cleaned off and it sailed a hundred yards through the air and went down a rabbit hole. And thus the battle was won and the game of golf invented at the same time.” - Gandalf on how the game of golf came to be.
The hobbit films get hate but I like them a lot.
@@aqlandmirrorvideogamerandc2983 that's mostly due to the fact that there is very little connection with the book, and also romance between a dwarf and an elf??? Hmmm.... Quotes are also in the book by the way. I have an audio book and I love it :)
