I was hoping this would be a Volvo D5 video. The square tin can along the side of my engine is connected to pipes full of a black devil substance.

Same principle for cleaning and restoring operation, just electrically actuated and you'll need to drain the coolant first.

@@sirobb Many thanks Simon. Always learn something new from your videos. Also, you are right about the Volvo water pump. It does not need to be changed with cam belt.

​@monkeyboy8424 also was hoping it was a volvo, but I'm is V40 D4 r design 2.0 diesel, code p04d900 having problems with egr valve and cooler, volvo wants 13 hundred pounds just for the parts not including labour which is probably going to take it to 2k wow, feels like volvo have got me by my balls on this one don't know where to turn as the m.o.t is due next month and it's an instant fail isn't it just for the engine light been on
