Honestly instead of Waluigi Stadium they should’ve brought back Wario Colosseum. First of all, we already got Waluigi Pinball in the BCP, meaning an additional Waluigi course would be redundant. Second, Waluigi Stadium was already in MKWii, while Wario Colosseum has never returned. But I think it’s very unlikely that Wario Colosseum will be in Wave 6 since it shares the same music as Waluigi Stadium. A shame, really.

Yeah I hope every track gets to come back at some point, though it makes sense Nintendo doesn't want to have EVERY track in this game because then there would theoretically be nowhere left to go for the series. Either way I appreciate it! Thanks for watching :)
Double Dash has one of the best Special Cups in the series so its mind-boggling that not only are none of its tracks in 8 Deluxe but also how 3 of its 4 tracks have never returned as retros
I count any tracks in tour as retros, all because tour is part of the main Mario kart series. Like it or not, nothing will change my opinion. And if you think about arguing with me, I have my case ready.
I mean you could be on to something. Nintendo is probably using tour as a excuse to remake weaker tracks and repeat tracks for the dlc. Tacks like mario Circuit 4 and toads factory that not been datamine in tour could be saving it for the next mario kart game? It could be as to why tour doing complete remakes for gba tracks, easy track that yet return to get them out the way for the more demanding tracks in mario kart 10 like Lakeside park or broken Pier. Either way mario kart 10 is gonna be huge because Nintendo purposely left all the hard challenge tracks like Wario Colossuem for the next game. We have to wait and see.
@@skillmaster9116 I has ben confirmed by nintendo to be in the mainline mario kart series. In the trailer for the booster course pass, they show a screen with all the box art for every mario kart game in the mainline series, which included mario kart tour. The arcade titles and home circuit are spinoffs because they were not in there. Nintendo is also adding tour courses to mk8 as retros (well, the city courses), further emphasizing the fact that it's part of the mainline mk series. Also, it's not just a cheap mobile game, it has some pretty good character designs, the courses sometimes actually look really good (not as good as mk8 though), and they're obviously putting some money into it, because they're able to put out at least 1 new track, new characters, karts and gliders every 2 weeks (although sometimes karts and gliders are just reskins of existing karts and gliders...).
it's such a shame that lakeside park probably won't be coming back to any mario kart title anytime soon, the Super Circuit songs are all sooo good i'd like to see it come back just for the song alone
I don't see why Tour or Super Circuit would need asterisks. I mean those games are full of official Nintendo remakes, regardless of the platform the game is on.
I find it funny when people call the new Mario Kart tracks "Nitro tracks", when the name was only used in Mario Kart DS... because Nitro was the NIntendo DS' code name.
I know this sounds silly, but I’d like a second booster course pass and maybe a third one. Instead of a new Mario kart 9 game just do booster courses releasing a new wave a month till all tracks have been included ijs
While that would be very cool, I feel like that would severely hinder the chance of there being a new game entirely, which if I had a choice I'd prefer getting a new game just to see how Nintendo would experiment with a new gameplay style after 9-10 years
The saddest ones that haven't returned from each game from GBA to 3DS: GBA: Lakeside Park GCN: Mushroom City DS: Rainbow Road Wii: Toad's Factory 3DS: Maka Wuhu
funny how you say a 1.0 for mario circut for the ds, yea, uh wave 4 love how this aged oh and the tour now too so 2 left to be made in Booster course pass
I understand the arcade games weren't for Nintendo systems, nor were they developed by Nintendo, but official Sky Arena and Kingdom Way remakes would be very cool.
I applaud you for giving a heads up for data mines and giving time to click off the video. So many other UA-camrs are so shameless about how they mention datamines. Like they’ll mention them right there on the spot with no warning. Thank you for the warning again.
it's funny to see how Tour has remade 12 / 16 mario kart 7 tracks and they didn't pick so many of them for the BCP (3 is nice, but come on) such a huge missed opportunity
My bet is that the 3 unknown tour track, aren't city tracks, but moreso the "unique" tracks that only appeared in tour such as Ninja Hideaway, Sky High Sundae, and Merry Mountains
They are city tracks since they have the 'Tour' retro label. As for the "nitro" tracks ala the three you mentioned, there are five unlabelled slots that are implied to belong to them. And in MKT itself there are asset files that imply to what they may be
Idk if you know about this but: Gba yoshi desert Gba bowser castle 4 Gcn waluigi stadium Ds mario circuit Wii daisy circuit Wii toad factory Wii moonview highway Wii dry dry ruins 3ds wuku loop 3ds maka wuhu All of this tracks have hints of them being added to tour from ID gaps and datamines
i think the nitro tracks have overall been the most boring/least fun tracks added as DLC. they really feel like wasted slots that should’ve been given to more retro tracks
Wario stadium is in the base game... heavily redesigned, but it's still there it's even the first track in it's cup, leaf. And The arcade games were never brought up, even by saying they wouldn't be covered
If it wasn't on Mario Kart Tour, it won't be in the booster pack... I feel like it has become quite clear... On the opposite side, if there IS a track from Tour, i feel like it WILL be in the booster pack, i don't trust that console prefix datamine, it may have been a placeholder for something that happens in the future as far as we know.
As of now, there are 8 more courses that have been remade Super Mario Kart Bowser Castle 3 Super Circuit Bowser Castle 4 Lakeside Park DS Mario Circuit Wii Moonview Highway Dry Dry Ruins Daisy Circuit 4 new tracks that will almost certainly be in Wave 6 Pirahna Plant Cove Pirahna Plant Pipeline Madrid Drive Rome Avanti
@GWallPro *_When_* Mushroom Bridge gets into the Booster Course Pass, let’s pray to God that we will be able to once again drive up the sides of the aforementioned bridge.
If there's one thing that's not in the Booster Course Pass yet that I'd be interested in seeing, it's the RMX tracks. These are an interesting concept, and I'm surprised that none have made it into 8DX yet, given its heavy focus on Tour content.
@@Evdafawth Remix. They're tracks that recycle aesthetics and assets from existing ones (primarily SNES tracks) and use them for a new, slightly different layout
I have been saying this for a long time, the RMX courses are really cool, and they ARE different courses, just themed similarly. Would be great to see them get some love, and it honestly would make sense for them to be some of the courses without prefixes.
Me too I will judge each tracks that weren't remade outside of Tour's chance of being in the booster course pass, and I have an extra tool at my disposal: the Tour datamine leak. With this leak, we have an excellent idea of what track will be in Tour but aren't yet, and the BCP clearly borrows from Tour, so a track being in that game clearly gives it better chance of being in the pass. N64 Wario Stadium: 1/10. There won't be any other N64 tracks so it most likely won't be there, and considering the other tracks we already have and that we most likely going to get, I think its chances are minimal. GBA Riverside Park: 3/5. It would make a lot of sense to bring this track in the BCP, but I make it lose some points for being similar in theming to Dino Dino Jungle and DK Mountain and I am pretty sure those tracks will make it in, so yeah. Cheep Cheep Beach: 3/5. Like Riverside Park, it would make sense to bring it in, but the datamines indicate that if Cheep Cheep Beach is in that game it would be in the same cup as Los Angeles Lap which has a beach, so that lowers its chances. Sunset Wild: 5/5. It's one of the most popular GBA tracks, it's already in Tour, and it was in the soundtrack leak. You can't really do more likely than that. Yoshi Desert: 2/5. I love this track and it was actually datamined for Tour, but I don't think they will bring 2 GBA desert tracks in the pass at once, and Sunset Wilds is way more likely. Lakeside Park: 1/5. It wasn't datamined for Tour and Riverside is more likely so no. Broken Pier: 1/5. Even less likely than Lakeside Park because Boo Lake is literally already in. Bowser Castle 4: 4/5. This is one of the most likely GBA tracks. It was datamined for Tour, and if we want ONE Bowser Castle to be in the game, it has to be one of the GBA Bowser Castles because we won't get anymore 3DS tracks, and only 3DS Bowser Castle and the GBA Bowser Castle are currently in Tour or datamined for it. It doesn't get a 5/5, because they could very well take the less cool GBA Bowser Castles that were already remade, or they even could bring back a GBA track that isn't a Bowser Castle. Basically, nothing is certain but BC4 does have good odds. GBA Rainbow Road: 1/5. That's the Rainbow Road I want the most remade, but it isn't datamined for Tour, and unless we have an all Rainbow Road cup which I think is unlikely, it would be odd to have this many Rainbow Roads in the booster course pass. Mushroom City: 3/5. This is the most likely GCN track that wasn't remade to appear in the BCP, and even then it's not all that bright. Basically, the Tour datamine says that we'll get either Mushroom Bridge or City in Tour, and if we take a look at the GCN track that are or will be in Tour, and assume that those are the only GCN tracks that can be in the booster course pass, whatever track it is between Bridge and City is almost guaranteed to be in the pass. I think Bridge is the much more likely track though since in a DLC full of city tracks, Mushroom City might be VERY redundant. Wario Colosseum: 1/5. Not being datamined for Tour is bad enough odds, but then you consider how WAY more likely Waluigi Stadium is going to be there instead due to the banner leak and the fact it was datamined for Tour, and that doesn't look good for Colosseum. GCN Rainbow Road: 1/5. Just look at my comment for GBA Rainbow Road. It's pretty much case. GCN Bowser Castle: 2/5. It has more points than the other two, since there aren't any Bowser Castles in the Booster Pass, so it won't be redundant if it makes it in, but it still is a track that wasn't datamined for Tour so... Figure 8 Circuit: 1/5. Not planned for Tour, we already have Toad Circuit, it also sucks, so yeah probably won't be in. DS Mario Circuit: 4/5. Probably my craziest prediction in the bunch. Basically, it all started when in a discord server, we talked about the idea of making DS Mario Circuit like Peach Gardens and Kalimari Desert where there would be a second variant that would be integrated in the remake of the booster course pas, except there the second variant would make you go through Peach's castle. This was a cool idea, but we weren't sure at all that they would do that, especially since no one cares about DS Mario Circuit, but then when I learned DS Mario Circuit was datamined for Tour, I was legit wondering if they are about to do that now. Not a 5/5 since there are still more popular tracks to have, but it's far from an unlikely scenario. I would even bet that the last DS track of the BCP would either be that or Airship Fortress. DS Bowser Castle: 2/5. Same as GCN. DS Rainbow Road: 1/5. Same as GCN and GBA. Wii Luigi Circuit: 1/5. I don't even want to explain that one. Wii Mario Circuit: 1/5. I don't really want to explain that one either. Toad's Factory: 2/5. This track have everything in its favor except for the fact it's not datamined for Tour DK Summit: 5/5. This is the least likely out of the 3 5/5 tracks, but still everything in its favor. It's in Tour, it's popular, and there aren't too many tracks in the BCP that is too similar to it so far. Daisy Circuit: 1/5. Not that exciting and too similar to city tracks. Dry Dry Ruins: 3/5. Was datamined for Tour, but it's not exactly the most popular track from Wii, and we are already set to have 2 desert in the booster course pass, but it's not the most redundant track we have seen for this list. Moonview Highway: 1/5. Apparently it's datamined for Tour but it would be way to redundant with Shroom Ridge, Mushroom Bridge and the city tracks since it shares similarities with all of them. Bowser Castle Wii: 2/5. You already know why. Wii Rainbow Road: 5/5. It's in Tour, it's popular, and the last track of the Spiny Cup is likely to be a Wii track, so it's pretty obvious this track is going to be in the game
Picking Riverside Park over Lakeside Park for the Booster Course Pass would be the biggest mistake the devs could make outside of bringing back Waluigi Stadium again over Wario Colosseum.
This video honestly has me thinking that what Nintendo should do when it finally decides to do another Mario Kart is pull an Ultimate "Everyone is Here", but do "EveryWHERE is Here". Courses are frankly more important to Mario Kart than the actual racers, basically to the extent fighters are to Smash Ultimate. I think if Nintendo compiled a Mario Kart Ultimate that had every course in Mario Kart history from Super to Tour in one package, it'd be something that'd really resonate with consumers. You'd have this sense of overloading content with what, like 150+ tracks? Toss in maybe like 16 new ones and it really doesn't matter if the racer roster is mediocre or there's no new items. All the internet would talk about is the insane number of race tracks and getting to see that one course that they liked again after 10, 15, 20+ years. Between 8 Deluxe and Tour, a lot of the work is already done and just needs updates, allowing Nintendo to just fix the stragglers.
Yeah I don't think 8 Deluxe is gonna be that game but you're right it could very well happen eventually! Personally I don't think it's going to be the very next game whenever that gets made but a few generations down the line so we can have even more original tracks haha
I love the OG Mario Kart 8 but it seems like it’s becoming Nintendo’s GTA 5. It’s a game that’s objectively great but they’ve been milking it for years with DLC. I mean at least GTA 6 is somewhat in sight, unlike Mario Kart 9.
To be fair though MK8 Deluxe got no support/updates throughout its first 5 years on Switch besides a Link costume, so I feel like this DLC is very welcome despite it coming very late into the game's lifespan
Kind of wish they added one of the Wuhu tracks… I feel like all of the sectioned tracks from Mario Kart 7 were beautiful. Given that they already added Rainbow Road and that 0 are predicted to be added at this point, I can only dream.

gba yoshi desert is actually confirmed for tour with datamines so i wouldn't say it's completely unlikely, plus there's only been 1 desert in the bcp so far and i don't see any of the others coming back
Would love to see Yoshi Desert back. If they actually do it though, we'll just have to wait and find out 👀
Wasn't Dry Dry Ruins also datamined though?
@@Marshall.R for tour yes, but because of the banner datamine + obviousness of the last track we already know every single wii track and ddr isn't one of them
Wow that's a lot lol
It's a bit sad that not all tracks will be remade in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Out of all of them, I really hope GCN Wario Colluseum will come back in the BCP, or at least in Tour
Great video as always, keep it up !
Yeah I hope every track gets to come back at some point, though it makes sense Nintendo doesn't want to have EVERY track in this game because then there would theoretically be nowhere left to go for the series.
Either way I appreciate it! Thanks for watching :)
Always remember they brought back Shroom Ridge
6:09
Tragic Words spoken right before disaster
7:45 oh this one is in wave 4
Double Dash has one of the best Special Cups in the series so its mind-boggling that not only are none of its tracks in 8 Deluxe but also how 3 of its 4 tracks have never returned as retros
I'ma Join That Riot For Toad's Factory If It Doesn't Get In
I count any tracks in tour as retros, all because tour is part of the main Mario kart series.
Alright, lets hear it
Cheap mobile game is not fit to fall into main line game category
@@ego-lay_atman-bay no
it's such a shame that lakeside park probably won't be coming back to any mario kart title anytime soon, the Super Circuit songs are all sooo good i'd like to see it come back just for the song alone
There is no reason why it couldn't be added to Tour this year and then also added to the BCP
If we get some arcade tracks in the BCP, that would be so amazing. It probably won't happen, though.
I only see it happening for they make a second booster pass /:
Wario colleseum is one of my favorite courses and I’ve barely played double dash I really hope it comes back
I’m hoping Mushroom City comes
bridge
If you ask me
I think it’ll be Rio, Madrid or Barcelona, and Cairo
I think Spain is a very fitting country for Tour, idk why
Him rating a 1.0 for DS Mario circuit has surely came back to him
GCN has so many gems. Would be sad to see not many return since the game has almost identical physics to MK8DX
i mean more than half of the gcn tracks have been remade
@@masturch33f66 not in mk8dx. Its special cup all deserve a track almost but yeah some have returned idd
I don't see why Tour or Super Circuit would need asterisks. I mean those games are full of official Nintendo remakes, regardless of the platform the game is on.
Little did he know about ds mario circuit👀
love that you used ROB when playing mariokart DS
Mario kart wii retro rewind allows you play all retro tracks and custom music for retro tracks
Wow, how did I not notice. All the tour maps, are the first stages in their selections
I find it funny when people call the new Mario Kart tracks "Nitro tracks", when the name was only used in Mario Kart DS... because Nitro was the NIntendo DS' code name.
I think that three cities will be Rome, Cairo and Athens
I know this sounds silly, but I’d like a second booster course pass and maybe a third one. Instead of a new Mario kart 9 game just do booster courses releasing a new wave a month till all tracks have been included ijs
While that would be very cool, I feel like that would severely hinder the chance of there being a new game entirely, which if I had a choice I'd prefer getting a new game just to see how Nintendo would experiment with a new gameplay style after 9-10 years
The saddest ones that haven't returned from each game from GBA to 3DS:
GBA: Lakeside Park
GCN: Mushroom City
DS: Rainbow Road
Wii: Toad's Factory
3DS: Maka Wuhu
“How many Mario kart tracks have not returned ever, 40”
Me before the video: how did GWallPro make a whole video about this?
DK Summit Wave 4, Wii Rainbow Road Wave 6, Daisy Circuit wave 6, MoonView Highway wave 5.
8:02...
8:23...
Well...
funny how you say a 1.0 for mario circut for the ds, yea, uh wave 4 love how this aged oh and the tour now too so 2 left to be made in Booster course pass
If any of the wii sports tracks don’t return, there will be a riot. So I’m fairly certain one will return
They better bring back all the rainbow roads. I will not forgive them if they don't.
6:13 oof....
Coming back after DS Mario circuit was revealed lol
(Excluding TOUR's Courses) There are currently 97 retro tracks in the mario kart series
GBA rainbow road is my favorite rainbow road 🌈 and also imo the best rainbow soundtrack
6:14 aged like milk
it's funny to see how Tour has remade 12 / 16 mario kart 7 tracks
and they didn't pick so many of them for the BCP (3 is nice, but come on)
such a huge missed opportunity
I think warriors stadium n64 would go great for tour it has bumps and hills that you can trick off of
My bet is that the 3 unknown tour track, aren't city tracks, but moreso the "unique" tracks that only appeared in tour such as Ninja Hideaway, Sky High Sundae, and Merry Mountains
They are city tracks since they have the 'Tour' retro label. As for the "nitro" tracks ala the three you mentioned, there are five unlabelled slots that are implied to belong to them. And in MKT itself there are asset files that imply to what they may be
@@sunstone_xd8977 Yes, Ninja Hideaway and Merry Mountain did in fact debut in Tour first. I know about that
I loved all the shortcuts during the Wii section lol
Here in the future, I am happy to report that DS Mario Circuit made it into the Booster Course Pass 😁
Idk if you know about this but:
Gba yoshi desert
Gba bowser castle 4
Gcn waluigi stadium
Ds mario circuit
Wii daisy circuit
Wii toad factory
Wii moonview highway
Wii dry dry ruins
3ds wuku loop
3ds maka wuhu
All of this tracks have hints of them being added to tour from ID gaps and datamines
i think the nitro tracks have overall been the most boring/least fun tracks added as DLC. they really feel like wasted slots that should’ve been given to more retro tracks
The number is 102 if you don’t count Tour redesigns or snes appearances in Super Circuit.
Edit. DS Mario Circuit made the Booster course pass wave 4.
i appreciate ur use of smg2 world 5 theme
Wario stadium is in the base game... heavily redesigned, but it's still there it's even the first track in it's cup, leaf. And The arcade games were never brought up, even by saying they wouldn't be covered
Coming back now after seeing DK summit is returning this prediction was very correct
We need the SNES Bowser Castles to return in some way. Those are the only ones that didn’t return yet besides GCN Bowser’s Castle
Aw, I love Shy Guy Bazaar! Shame it isn't likely coming back.
As of now, there are 8 more courses that have been remade
Super Mario Kart
Bowser Castle 3
Super Circuit
Bowser Castle 4
Lakeside Park
DS
Mario Circuit
Wii
Moonview Highway
Dry Dry Ruins
Daisy Circuit
4 new tracks that will almost certainly be in Wave 6
Pirahna Plant Cove
Pirahna Plant Pipeline
Madrid Drive
Rome Avanti
@GWallPro *_When_* Mushroom Bridge gets into the Booster Course Pass, let’s pray to God that we will be able to once again drive up the sides of the aforementioned bridge.
If there's one thing that's not in the Booster Course Pass yet that I'd be interested in seeing, it's the RMX tracks. These are an interesting concept, and I'm surprised that none have made it into 8DX yet, given its heavy focus on Tour content.
What does RMX stand for?
@@Evdafawth Remix. They're tracks that recycle aesthetics and assets from existing ones (primarily SNES tracks) and use them for a new, slightly different layout
@@SB2749 Thank you for the explanation.
This track have everything in its favor except for the fact it's not datamined for Tour
DK Summit: 5/5.
Also all 7 tracks are either 2 or 1/5 because the datamine says there are no 3DS tracks left.
Congrats on the Mario Circuit guess lol
@@wookiebear514 Thanks!
Dude I was just thinking about watching a video on this topic 2 days ago and then you released it
