THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this!❤ I get stressed and feel indecisive when choosing a planner bc it doesn't seem to help look ahead..and its bc I needed to create a perpetual plan. I feel such a relief, especially since I need to track elder parents too. 😌This is one of the most practical videos I have ever seen! 🤗 PS. Love the sloppy copy PPS. Thanks for not saying or putting "hack" in your video!!!!!
@@amstarkey5023 most of our stress typically comes from not knowing where to start. I hope this perpetual helps lay the foundation for your planning and takes some of that stress off you. It is not easy being a caretaker and all of a sudden having multi schedules to manage. I very much understand. I honestly didn’t think about using “hack,” because I didn’t consider it a hack. But the way everyone is responding to my version of a perpetual calendar sure feels like people are discovering a “hack.” 😉 I did not think this would be as popular as it’s becoming. Truly makes me happy to share a tool that people can create for themselves that is meant to aide them in their lives. Truly wonderful.
Thanks for keeping it real!! I have also worked on a perpetual calendar and it started out to mainly remember birthdays and anniversaries. Then I did like you and added annual subscriptions, car tag renewals and things like that. The last thing I added to mine were when we did major home or car improvements...because I can't always remember the year. For example, this summer we had a new HVAC unit put in. I wrote 2024 - new HVAC on that date in July so I will have a quick reference of when it was done. I know it's not something that I need to transfer to my calendar each year - but it is handy as a quick reference for when big things were done.
@@akronrats that’s awesome. And it’s your calendar, you make it work for you. Sounds like you found a great place to capture that information for yourself.
Okay why have I NEVER seen this type of system on YT? I realized a couple weeks ago that this type of thing is exactly what's missing from my planning system, and then today this video just pops up on YT for me! I'm currently building a "planner buddy" discbound notebook that I'm hoping to be able to continue to use year after year in addition to whatever planners I use.
New subscriber. ❤ Omg why did I never thought of flipping the page to have the whole year at a glance, 🤯🤯 you know how much I hate flipping pages back and forth. So many useful ideas. Will be starting one right now because we own a business and you know hoe many times We had to pay penalties for not renewing permits on time, well not anymore because you just saved me. I am a pen a paper girl. Thank you so much. 😊
New Sub here too. I love your Videos. Sooo much info, thoughts, and ideas. I took notes and will rewatch this and your Christmas planning. That helped me too, bc now I’m unexpectedly Hosting Family for a week and I haven’t in so many years, I was starting to panic. Then your Vids popped up. Thanks sooo Much!! 😊🍀🦃
