My left airpod fell into water. And i saw a video that says use water ejection op siri shortcuts but mine won't even connect. The one that didn't fall into water still connects fine but not the water damaged one. What can i do?
Same sort of thing happened to my dads ones he left them in his pocket in the washing machine and asked me to fix them but now the pop up doesn’t even work and I can’t hold the button to reconnect them
Everyone else dropped them in water or something while my sister ate mine..her ✨saliva✨ water damaged the right one and now it doesn’t work at all. This even happened before and I had to get them replaced. I’ve had the replacement for only three days now and it’s happened again😄

My airpods went through washer and dryer before and still worked after. But now one airpod fell in water and now it doesn't produce sound , I'm stuck with one airpod now
Dried the low water damaged airpod(left one) with my hot breath. And honestly fixed it. Sounds better now
Let’s say hypothetically, I put my right AirPod in my pocket, went to school camp, jumped in the dam (in my sports uniform which had the AirPod in my pocket) it somehow didn’t fall out, I went back home, washed said clothes (AirPods still in the pocket) and only found it after the wash finished.
SUCK ON THE SOUND PART AND BLOW IN THE SMALL PART BY THE BLACK SENSOR ON THE EAR BUD PART! Leaving in the case will keep the water in there so don’t do that or won’t dry. Mine wouldn’t charge or work and I did this and it worked! Then after they would work I let them dry out side of the case for a couple hours, put the back in the case and it started charging and worked perfect again! Submerged in a cup of water for at least a minute til I could get somewhere to pour it out, my hand couldn’t reach them in the cup

I accidentally had my airpods by the sink and they fell in the water for 5 seconds and I was in shock
That won’t help. If you cleaned AirPod with ear cleaner and bit of water I suggest using rice. After 24h I saw it helped like few dB. Basically sound worsen on one of AirPods. So rice helped me. Hairdryer didn’t but it probably can to evaporate water. Don’t heat them too much. I have inside probably like a drop of water. If you have problem like me tell others what helped. I was cleaning the black area on AirPods so where the sound comes from.
So let’s say mine may have or may not have fell down the drawn of my bathroom sink

I washed my AirPods and was messing around with the case after I put it in rice. Now I have a different problem.
Airpods just been through quick wash in machine. Besides some dampness in lightening port there’s no water anywhere. Shook them, inserted cotton bud inside. Green light is flashing when I open case. But still not connecting 😞

Dude I literally dropped my right air pod in the Sink and It was submerged for about 5-10 sec and when I pulled it out now it’s making that distorted buzzing sound. I put it in rice for about a day and it’s still sounding distorted when nothing is playing. But the weirdest thing is now both my left and right Airpods are losing sound to my videos and then it will come back then go out again and then come back again. Now I just feel like throwing the whole thing in the trash.
