My right AirPod hasn’t been working in a year. However, I mistakenly left them in my sweats that I recently had on and my pods got washed, full cycle. When I pulled them out of the washer to test them, suddenly my right AirPod started to work again lol.
Mine randomly stopped working (they were making a white noise and refusing to connect to my phone) and then I laid hands on them, and asked the Lord that if He was willing, could he fix/heal them… AND HE DID! HALLELUJAH! He absolutely CAN do anything He wants 😂😭🙌🏾🙏🏾
I've washed my husband's ear buds(not air pods) multiple times and they always end up working after. 🤣🤣🤣 he knows my rule I refuse to clean out his pockets 😂so whatever is in there gets washed too. 🤣🤣🤷🏼♀️

My samsung buds went through a full cycle and I found them magnetize to the top of the barrel of the washer. I was so sad when I found them I don't know how long they were in there because I couldn't remember what hoodie or pants they were in. But they still work great so thank you God.😊

Put them in the garage or in a window area where it’s dry and warm. Do not put them back in the case right now. I’ve washed and just let them Completely dry out and they are fine:)

Good thing they work and one time i put my case and i was so scared because it is a charger thing but luckily they still work the case is what you should worry about more than the ear piece but if any electrical thing gets wet then pit it in rice and if it is a phone take the case off and put the speakers in rice!! Hope this helps for anyone!!!!
Same happened to me 😂 but mine were washed and dryed, and when I found them, I tried them to see if they still worked, the pods worked just good but the carrier wouldn’t charge but I later found out the Charger wasn’t connected correctly to the outlet 😂 Felt really dumb afterwards lol
Lucky you. Next time check your pockets & yes, rice DOES help. Washed my iPhone about 10 years ago, had 18,500 photos on it. Rice for 15 days. More than half my contacts & half my photos recovered.

The other day, I had had a really long day and needed a quick bath before getting things ready for my husband to grill. I hopped in the tub, remembered my skull candy ear bud in my left ear, went to take it out and it fell into a minimum of 4 inches of water. I was quick to get it out and try to dry it, and it worked perfectly fine an hour later. Still no issues, like a week later and I wear them in alternating ears constantly. God knows we don’t need to be buying more ear buds right now. This is also my endorsement for them. 😅🤗

Girl airpods literally are indestructible I wear scrubs because I'm a nursing assistant and they literally went through the wash so many times and they survived and still worked after 4 years 😂

I washed my cousins AirPods like 2 years ago . I panicked because I geniunly thought that there was the end of my life 🤦🏻♀️ but by the grace of god they worked still! I will say it did affect the battery life tho. They die quick now

They are waterproof to an extent. I heard that somewhere online or it might of been from the Apple Store.

I believe most earbuds/air pods are water proof...I've accidentally washed a couple of my Bluetooth ear buds, and they still work to this day.
