- AirPods and AirPods 2 are designed to work seamlessly with all of Apple's Bluetooth-supporting devices, and nine times out of ten the wireless earbuds live up their billing, but that doesn't mean they work perfectly for everyone one hundred percent of the time.
A particularly irritating problem that can sometimes occur is when one AirPod drops the connection intermittently or stops working altogether for no apparent reason. If you've been hit by this bug, following the steps below should help you resolve it.

OMG !! It worked !! i had contacted apple after resetting and cleaning them so many times and nothing worked you are the first one to mention the reset network settings and this worked for me !!!!! THANK YOUUU

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

My jaw legit dropped. My right AirPod hasn’t been working for months and this took me 20 seconds! I am amazed at how someone can figure this out, and that they can share this, helping others out!

I seen a comment under this and it said to take out the one that’s not working and put it back in the case repeatedly until it works and it worked for me!!! Try it!!

so i had the same problem. at first my airpods weren’t working altogether so i reset it and only the right one worked. then the next day they both worked until later at night they completely stopped connecting. i reset it about 15 times and i let it charge for 30 min. go to your settings then go to general then go to reset and click reset all networks. it will make you lose all wifi passwords but it’s worth a try. so after that it still wasn’t working so i gave it a break and ten minutes later i came back and i was on my homescreen and i reset it one more time and it finally popped up. just try to do these things and keep resetting it and hopefully it will work for you

This girl asked to look at em cause she wanted to see if she could fix em and she connected em to her ipad and they worked like brand new. Then she tried her phone and it worked like brand new. Then I tired on my phone and they worked still. I think it's one of those things you have to jus give time to fix it self. It's a pretty annoying problem

I unpaired all the devices that were paired before, so I did “forget this device” to all of them. Then I paired the AirPods only, and that fixed them:)

What I did was I put both airpods back in the case and plugged in the charger and left them there for a couple of hours.You don’t need to forget the device or anything.

If the steps on the video doesn’t work read this .. You cannot use fast charging adaptors from iPad and 11 pro models for charging AirPods 2. Atleast for me that’s when this happens. None of the things in the video worked. I just had to drain the AirPods by leaving the case open and AirPods out for a day and charge it with regular charging brick. Just like that it’s fixed.
Again never ever use the fast charging adaptors for AirPods 2. I think the pro is fine.

I had to do the network reset settings and when i connected them it showed up with the same name and i was about to cry but when i put them in my ears and tried to listen to stuff both airpods were finally working, honestly can’t thank you enough 😭❤️❤️

My left one won't connect no matter what I do. Reboot and re-pair doesn't work. I'm trying to drain both air pods batteries and their case battery hoping that final power off reset does something. I'm not hopeful.

Vadim Bragg I don’t think I heard a tick on my left one, but I wouldn’t doubt the moisture part as I have sweat a lot in them while working out, how would I go about fixing. Possibly taking the AirPod apart or something?
@@jush471 you can't fix it. You have to buy a new pair.
Found the fix: put the working one In the corresponding war, then go the the AirPod settings, and click automatic ear detection, which should turn it off. Then put that one back in the case or keep it in, and put the one in the case in your ear.

Usually just putting them in the case for a minute fixed it for me, when one disconnected when I for example let them sit for too long outside of the case and my build-in hearing devices (some are calling them ears, as I’ve heard :) ).
