Second, my pods kept flashing yellow light even during and after charging. Then low volume and only getting sound in one ear.
I had reset them before but following your instructions took about 10 seconds and I’m good to go, paired and both pods and case showing 100%

I have to leave a comment because even though I saw other comments saying this worked for them when nothing else did, I was doubtful because I also thought I already tried everything. But I followed it step by step and am so relieved it worked! I think resetting the airpods like you showed at the beginning of the video was probably the main solution for me. I’m very happy as I’m typing this but I also want to make sure not to sound like a bot haha since I was honestly doubtful and wary of that when reading the comments before watching the video. So in case anyone else reads this and feels like I did, I hope you give it a try, try resetting them slowly following each step, and I hope it works for you too (:

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

For the one still saying one of the headphones are still not working READ THIS!!!! Long story short what I did was take out both headphones and left the case open over night. Tried them this morning and it still didn’t work. Took them both out and left the case open again. Just tried them and they now work!!! Yesterday I tried everything I could to get my right headphone to work. The case would not recognize the right headphone. It was as if I only had the left one 🤷🏾‍♂️. My case wouldn’t Reset at all and at some point I was no longer able to connect my AirPods to my phone!!! The ONLY REASON why I took out both my headphones and left the case open over night was to let the case die so I try and hope I could get my case to connect to my phone after charging it. But for whatever reason this desperate act fixed all my problems!!! Hopes this helps anybody who has the same problem as I did!
