Thanks for the video... I was watching at the beginning and, it looks to me that you might be able to fit a 30 cal. ammo can in place of the factory tool box and that would give you more storage space and, I think it would be easier to reach the latch with the seat and smv sign on there.
Apologies for my slow reply...somehow I missed this comment. You're probably correct about the ammo box on all counts. The only potential issue I could see would be that I'm 6'4" and need the seat all the way back and the height of the ammo box might interfere with the seat-back. I can tell you that after a few months use, I am loving the Pack-out box! Appreciate you watching, and the great comment.
Morning. I’m definitely seeing a lot more of these packout boxes in many different uses. That should work out well for you. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike.
Man I'm so glad I stumbled onto your video. I was in the process of jerry rigging something on my Mahindra Sub compact (the factory one holds two pins, vice grips and a pair of gloves) . Since I'm already a Milwaukee fan boy, this setup will be perfect for me.
Sorry for my slow reply...apparently I missed a few comments. Glad you found the video helpful. Maybe by now you've already added a Pack-Out box to your machine! I can tell you after a few months of use, I am LOVING mine! Thanks for watching and the nice comment.
Good mod. Lack of storage on these machines is definitely a problem to be addressed. Kubota & Wheel Horse are also a great combination. Both are tough dependable & long lasting machines. Carry On.
I thank you for your video presentation. I have a LX 3520 with a cab from Kabota. Any ideas and suggestions are always appreciated. So far I have a Harbor Freight bucket with a nylon strap and a cover held up by the 3 PT HITCH. Thank you for your wonderful ideas!
Coincidentally, I just received EMP's ROPS mount chainsaw rack. Their corporate culture must be against instructions, since there wasn't a hint of how to mount it, and there was considerable hardware to install. I suppose the pictures on their website are supposed to suffice in lieu of instructions, but they're so small it's difficult to make much sense out of them. The swag coosie and sticker is a nice touch, though. You're completely correct regarding storage on the Kubota, and from what I've seen, just about every other manufacturer. Replacing the Mickey Mouse box that came on my MX4700 was one of the first things I did to accessorize it.
Great video Chris. I love your solution. I wish I could find someplace to add a box for the Cab version of the LX. The outtakes are awesome. Thank you for sharing them too. Dan 😊
Great idea for more storage Milwaukee really set the new standard for modular storage. Thanks and have a great one. 😉 check out my drone case short tomorrow
Massive power and awesomeness! Lol on the cab model there is no toolbox. 😢 Neat setup for adding whatever box from Milwaukee you want. I was going to say you need to find some Kubota Orange. Cheers bud, 🥃🍺 You don't "suck at this" lol 😂
Great vid especially since there are no reviews on the EMP website. Do you think the mount can be installed to the rear or is it strictly either left or right side? Thanks!
@silvercreek89 Thanks for the kind words. I'm not near the tractor right now so can't confirm the rear fitment. I'll have to check and let you know for sure. 👍
@@watershedoverlook So I ended up buying one-great quality, but doesn't quite work with my Massey-Ferguson sub-compact due to the taillights blocking the Packout lid from opening more than 2". I had the 12" high Packout like you have in the video. If I went with one of the smaller Packouts (not as high) it would work on the right side while sightly blocking the fuel filler. The U-bracket (3") is too short for me to mount it on the ROPS to the rear where I want it, but if I find a 4" U-bracket, I think I can mount it to the rear. Also purchased EMP's Rigid Sunshade, it is the lowest priced ROPS mounted hard canopy out there at $279 and is solid (horrible instructions though, took almost 3 hours to put on...).
Hey Pete. I don't typically operate the LX in tight quarters, so no, I don't think it will be an issue. I'm not at the Overlook currently so can't measure, but I know the box/bracket only overhangs the fender/tire by a few inches at most. It's a new install, but once I've had some seat time, I'll probably do a follow-up video. Thanks for watching. 👍😎
The original tool box is very poor especially the hinge. Your Wheelhorse looks fantastic and I like the tool box holder. Even the colour of the box works on the tractor, I would see how you get on with the colour before painting it black
Thanks, Joseph. I think the video was kind to the colors, but it will be a minute before I can paint it, so we'll see. 👍 I do love that old Wheel Horse. Currently working to re-line the brake band. Being able to stop is very helpful! 😉🤣
With "Kubogy's " Priceing-stradegedy" ( Everybody pays the same price). I would of been VERY Happy "IF" my Dealer would of Given ME a 47 CENT / Rebate for a "Tool-Box Delete Program"...... The "Joke" was ELIMINATED 45 SECONDS after the Delivery of the 42,000$ tractor, & sits under the Werk-bench/ Empty & USELESS.
Never enough tractor storage Chris!! Nice job!
Amen to that! Thanks for watching. 👍😎
Nice add on Chris, looks like a good solution for you.
Thanks. I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Good morning Chris, great video! Thank you for the information, I was unaware of this product. Very nice storage solution. Have a good one, Ben
Glad you found it helpful Ben. Thanks for watching! 👍😎
Good evening Chris
Evening Gary!

Agreed on all counts! Thanks for watching! 👍😎
I work right down the road from Extreme Metal Products. I might have to stop over and pick this up.
LoL...I don't think you'll be disappointed. 👍😎

LOL! out takes are always enjoyable. Nice setup Chris. Very functional - thanks for the demo and install. Cheers!
Thanks, Gord. 😂 Hope all are well. 👍
It's definitely a win Chris, very cool idea plus you octuple your storage capacity 😉😂. Have a great week 🙋🏼♂👍🏻🙂
Thanks Luc. I think it will be a big asset going forward. Thanks for watching, and have a great week my friend. 👍😎

Thanks Dan. I didn't even think about the cab! How aggravating.
Thanks for watching...hope you are all healed up and doing well. 👍
That's an excellent upgrade! But your original toolbox is 10x larger than the one on my BX! Haha. Thanks for sharing
Wow Ross, I can't imagine. What do you carry in it? Toothpicks and Tic Tacs?
😉🤣 Have a great week!
Good job, great solution !
Thanks for watching!

Will do...been planning out a camera gear Packout solution myself! 👍😎

Do you worry about how far it sticks out to the side? How far/many inches?
