    Garlic and ginger are basically super foods. You can pickle the ginger in some fruit juice and wait a couple days to eat it. And eating pressed raw garlic on top of buttered sourdough bread tastes amazing. Just suck on some gloves instead of chewing gum to get rid of your garlic breath!

    Chicken and pork can be good meats. But the important thing is that you need to get them organic and pasture raised considering that corn and soy have PUFAs and unlike cows, which eat grass, chickens and pigs are not ruminants which means these fats stay in their systems after we kill them for meat.

    Considering you were talking about fruit, could you please make a video about if fruit juice is actually bad for you? Coconut water is technically a juice and I've heard multiple claims that the fructose leads to cavities but then I remember maple syrup and honey have no fiber but they actually benefit the teeth. There's orange juice which contains naringenin, pineapple juice which contains bromelain, watermelon juice which contains lycopene, and coconut water which contains electrolytes.

    • @cooking_bakingg
      @cooking_bakingg 9 місяців тому

      I think whole fruits are always better but coconut water is an exception because it’s no where near as high in sugar

    • @RetakeAmerica
      @RetakeAmerica 9 місяців тому

      @@cooking_bakingg Fruits being high in sugar isn't necessarily bad considering it's natural sugar and there's also two kinds of fiber, one being soluble and the other being insoluble. The soluble fiber is the one found in juices.

    • @unlimited_puh7212
      @unlimited_puh7212 9 місяців тому

      @@RetakeAmerica I think it depends on the juice type. When you put fruits or even vegetables in a blender (for example) you destroy all the fibre and other nutrients making it unhealthy. But chewing itself is so much more benefitial for certain hormone releases.

    • @RetakeAmerica
      @RetakeAmerica 9 місяців тому

      @@unlimited_puh7212 I think that foods such as dates would be more beneficial for sexual health but watermelon juice still helps you get a boner without the fiber. There's also the fact that when you juice something and you don't High Pressure Pasteurize it, you retain many of the nutrients. If you have cold pressed juice or if you get a slow masticating juice like the KUVINGSREVO830, you'll be fine drinking juice.
      Edited:
      High pressure pasteurization isn't that bad. It's high-temp that's bad.

The only part i’m conflicted about is my elevated ApoB levels (an indicator of increased atherosclerosis, eg heart attacks risk) from a a blood test a week ago. Peter Attia says that saturated fats directly increases ApoB and I’m worried a high saturated fat diet is not sustainable. Do you know of any conflicting literature that says saturated fats doesn’t increase atherosclerosis risk? Or do you simply recommend a moderate amount of saturated fats?
