You’re blessed to have repented early on. I’m in my 40’s and 2 DWIs later, I finally quit drinking with God’s help. I did have to remove myself from certain friends and environments that supported that lifestyle. My next goal is to stop cursing.
Hallelujah! For some it takes time but I’m so glad our God is slow to anger and abounding in love (Psalm 103:8) and I’m just happy he set you free. Cussing was hard for me too but every time i used to do it I would get sooo convicted and repent. Pray that the Holy Spirit helps you overcome this and meditate on scriptures about this subject. (These verses helped me James 3:1-12) Pray God keeps pruning you to produce even more good fruit for Him. In Jesus name Amen 🙏

I can relate to your testimony! I used to smoke everyday and it’s all I looked forward to. Once I stopped I realized just how happier I was without it and slowly started to seek God. But I’m so grateful that God never gave up on me, despite all the sin I used to love doing🙏🏽 his grace and love encouraged me to give up those things even more!
Absolutely relate to your story with being saved but taking time with removing things like this from my life. I struggled hard with smoking and drinking. I would cry and pray to God to help me break that. And He did by giving me my son 🥺 He knew I wasn’t strong enough on my own and the only way was to give me my son.
