I was drifting off to sleep when I heard a soft young woman's voice say "Christopher" I woke, sat up in bed. got out of bed and went to my adoptive parents room as they were getting ready for bed too. I asked "yes mom?" she looked at me confused "what Hun? I didn't call you." I said "OH. okay." went back to bed without thinking about it. years later after hearing paranormal stuff in my basement through a recording I remembered that night I heard my name years ago. it was my young birth mother. I never felt fear when I heard her soft voice that night. nor did fear strike at me when I think about it now. it tells me that she is always here with me, watching me grow up. I love and respect her so much for giving me life. I always feared I'd die the same age as she did. I was wrong. I am meant to live. I am now 32
