Having a son who uses his power chair daily, I love seeing videos about your wheelchair business and the reason behind it. I would love to see an electrified version with a joystick control of your offroad chair. We love going camping but its hard when he is not able to go on trails. Just an idea, and you and your wife are awesome!

Just started researching them and I just had the biggest pit in my stomach as I was seeing the costs of a any decent one. I was completely oblivious to the challenges so many have to deal with beyond just the massive financial burden. So I commend you guys! What you're doing is truly amazing and is changing lives.

I'm even more surprised that in some countries you have to pay for a wheelchair. For us its part of the insurance. Only when its temporary you pay a small fee per month (20/40 euro depending on modifications needed) but if you need it permanent its covert by insurance.
@Timberjagi proper Healthcare is truly amazing. Like our insurance only covers the bog standard basic one. It's not even meant for long term use but that's all they cover.

And there's something I didn't appreciate - each wheelchair is different, or, should be different for each personally mobile chair user due to the difference in the biomechanics of their body. I've just had my bicycle fitted properly by a sports physiotherapist and he adjusted a heap of things (handlebars, break/gear kern in, seat height, seat travel, seat angle) so it makes sense to do the same for someone who moves a wheelchair around with arms and hands of different dimensions.
There is a reason why I fell in love with this channel it def was not the JerryRigs knives either ;). Its the unwavering love he has for his wife and that same unwavering love for his wife that drives his wheel chair business. I got nothing but respect for Jerry. Keep it up man, we love seeing youtubers who are able to help make differences in other peoples lives besides their own lives. After all we are on this beautiful planet together and we should be working TOGETHER to help solve issues in the world. Good stuff man! Fun Fact: Those glass beads are also used for making the painted highway lines reflective at night. I live in Northern Ontario, and the company that paints the lines once went through nearly 75 tons in one summer!

At this point I’m housebound. I’m in need of an electric wheelchair but cannot afford one due to the cost and the limited amount of money I get on disability. Yeah I was also just gonna take the cash. Cars cost more than the upfront price due to insurance, you have to decide if you're keeping your old car, etc. As cool as it'd be I could buy almost any other car on the market for $100K.
