Thank you Bobby for all your information. My father passed away from cancer and honestly I feel so sad we didn't know about all the information I see from your videos and other Nutrition UA-cam influencers. I'm training my family and my future generations to be more aware of the different ingredients and types of food to choose. So you are helping the world to be better. I remember one time you said, you do these videos in honor of someone but I can't remember who she was. She is giving me my life back since I feel like I will probably live longer and healthier. Thanks to her who ever she is and thanks to you, Dessi, Rose and of course thanks to ART!!!

Our Kroger sells the Swanson Organic Chicken Broth. It doesn’t have Natural Flavors but it does have Chicken Flavoring. Other than that it is the cleanest I can find. Thanks for your videos, Bobby! You have completely changed the way I look at food and what I buy for my family! Keep up the good work!

Hi Bobby, I contacted Amy's Kitchen a bit ago to inquire about their oils. They responded with the following: "Thanks for asking. We only use safflower and/or sunflower oil that is expeller pressed". If this is true, than the chilies they make and others would be OK. Additionally, I have found about half of the Campbell's Well Yes! canned soups have carrageenan in them. The other half however do look pretty clean.

4:30 I usually go for products with as few ingredients as possible, that way the cans have maximum usability for whatever it is I want to use them.

Wonderful video. I need to read labels carefully, but so many prepared foods have yeast extract, dextrose, etc. plus, I’m allergic to all nightshades and many times the word “ spices” mean paprika that causes me to have great pain and inflammation in my arthritic joints. There is also so much sodium in canned foods and broth. I resort to making my own but it does take some effort and time.

Useful information, I even googled some of the harmful ingredients. I made a list of the ingredients and will keep it in my purse for when I go shopping, cannot remember everything.
The food corporations are sneaky and find alternative words for certain ingredients, making "wholesome" labels, they know how the human mind works (I bet they have psychologists employed) it has become a cat and mouse game when shopping
I know of a few people getting ill, who knows what the real causes were.. Let food be your medicine, not your poison.
Since I am frugal as well, I manly cook/bake from scratch, use my freezer to the max, cook my own beans, in pressure cooker of course.
Useful tips for the organic beans, will try that next time shopping.
People are getting more exhausted and fatter. Something is wrong here. Did we all become gluttons all of a sudden or is there a problem with the food... GMO, questionable ingredients, antibiotics, sprayed food, mad cows, convenience foods, the "bliss point" in foods, etc. The food industry is connected to the pharmaceutical industry. So the logic goes, it is good for profit if we can make you sick from the food you are eating, slowly of course, harder to prove.
Especially with corporations, there is nothing left to chance, there is always an agenda, 10 steps ahead, that is why I am usually suspicious of anything. Still a dog eat dog world. Think of your grocery shopping as a health defense trip.

Your video came up on my feed this morning. I watch it in its entirety. While buying the " healthiest " and, in most cases, the most expensive canned items is better, it's not always the best for you. My pantry is stocked with pretty much everything you featured. Difference being, I can most everything myself at a fraction of the cost and know exactly what is in my product. This is absolutely not meant to be a slam on your video at all. Pressure canning is very easy to do and the amount you save at the grocery store is amazing. I can purchase a bag of dried pinto beans for a little over a dollar and get 6-8 pints of canned beans. Maybe money isn't an issue for most, but canning your own foods sure saves time on the ingredient reading at the store. Give it a try, you will be impressed with the results and yourself. :) :)

Hey man, you're videos are great however as someone living outside the US I do wish you would reference the quality of the big name brand stuff more frequently because a lot of the supermarket made stuff is not avaliable where I (and I'm sure many others) live. Of course the info you're giving does mean we can figure it out ourselves however it would be a time saver to know if X brand is healthy or unhealthy. Great video as always.

Uh Oh! Thanks, Bobby for the heads up on yeast extract _ MSG. I'm severely allergic. I wouldn't by the seasoned cans of veggies anyway - I'm not cheap when I can spice up something myself.
Great video. It is interesting to see the 2019 prices compared to the prices in May 2022 - which will be much cheaper than the prices will be in a year - IF those foods are still available.
It never dawned on me that there would be soybean oil in canned tuna. I realized only a year ago that I'm allergic to soy. Oh my, soy is so sneaky an ingredient. I have so much tuna stock piled.

A couple of points on this. Love the fact you're bringing up soy. Its in everything in different forms these days. I absolutley have to read labels and avoid it due to sensitivity to it. Also the other additives to avoid. Our food is not healthy. Thats why so many of us aren't either. Just bought some skipjack tuna from Wild Planet. Suppose to be smaller chunk light fish like the one u chose so less mercury. Wish you had done a review on canned salmon and chicken. Love your videos. 😊
