Love you Bobby but there is a difference between 'pasture raised' and 'organic pasture raised', chemicals. Herbicide is used in non-organic farming operations. Herbicide is sprayed on the weed, allowed to dry and in some cases, cows can be released back into that pasture once the chemical is dry. Organic labeling is more than a certification and an added cost to the farmer.

I’ll look into that. We’ve a farmer that does local meat that I want to look into first here in TN. I believe in animals that are humanely raised and humanely killed. If you stress an animal at the time of their death, you have a flood of epinephrine and norepinephrine and cortisol - plus often there’s loss of bladder and bowel control which is what your meat is getting marinated in - so even if you don’t believe in treating animals with humane care - there’s plenty of reason to treat these animals who are giving up their lives for us.

Thought it was the most ridiculous & unhealthy thing (based on what we've all been taught/'fed', literally) all these years. My friend kept saying, "30 days will change your mind... 1 month, what do you have to lose other than to SEE what it feels like for yourself". I laughed, no fkng way. WELL... she finally convinced me to do 30 day trial of "BBBE". As much as you want/need, whenever you need & in whatever form you want. Eat Beef, butter, bacon, eggs. Use a quality (pink himalayan or celtic) salt & drink water. I still had 1 cup of coffee, but only added a splash of a clean heavy cream & 1pkt splenda. Basically low/no sugar or carb. No fruits, no vegetables, animal based. Did it, honestly, just to prove my friend wrong. Here I sit, 16 months later still doing it. After about 6 mos I added other meats + a little seafood & cheese here & there. Still all animal based/super low carb/sugar. The difference CANNOT be explained. You mention GI issues, well.. digestion, couldn't be more perfect. Now, zero issues. No meds, no nothing. Mental clarity, quality of sleep (have had a diagnosed sleep disorder for 2 decades... mysteriously gone) improved greatly, energy, inflammation gone, no bloating, no anything. All craving for sugar/carbs, gone. Normal blood sugars in double digits (don't think they've EVER been before) normal bloodwork... it's nuts. That food pyramid is upside down & imho & from my own experience, wow... shines a big light & question on what's being put in our "foods". Purposely addictive, purposely keep you wanting, craving & above all... BUYING. Bad things that make us sick, needing more & more medications, more healthcare. It's like we've been putting diesel fuel in our gas powered engines! For the first time, I haven't even had as much as a cold in the 16 months so far. Never felt better, ever... & only wish I had known this way sooner in life. 30 days.. nothing to lose & save a crap ton of money at the store too!!!!!!!

The study done was poorly conducted - this was not a double blind experiment which is the gold standard of experiments and there was no group of individuals that received a placebo as a baseline group. It therefore is too early to make such conclusions about the sweetener. It’s rather like saying saccharine causes cancer - if you’re a poor mouse made to ingest many times your own body weight of the substance then perhaps you could get cancer but they never did find it to be true.

Although I do most of my shopping at Walmart for groceries because of their low prices, I do generally prefer Aldi’s grass-fed meat (or else a local farm when I’ve got the extra money to spend) because Walmart’s grass-fed meat sometimes doesn’t seem the best quality unfortunately.

@christianjames92 It does matter, almonds are one of the most heavily sprayed crops. Pesticides are absorbed by the roots, leaves and stems. Pesticides are lipophilic and they accumulate in foods that are high in fat like nuts.

No, "grass fed and finished" is not the same as "organic grass fed and finished"; while "grass fed and finished" refers to a cow that has eaten only grass throughout its life, "organic grass fed and finished" means the cow has eaten only organic grass throughout its life, and additionally, was raised without antibiotics, hormones, or synthetic pesticides, as per USDA organic standards.

Before you can actually draw any true conclusions there should have been a placebo (there was none) and you’d need a much larger scope of experiment!
