In my book cilinder 1 is left when you sit on the bike and cilinder 2 is right when you sit on the bike

Nice movie. But there is a mistake. The T1 cylinder is the one on the left sitting on a motorcycle, the T2 is the one at the throttle grip.!!!

MOTO RADY 😳 Could it explain the large difference between the factory and the real clearance. And so the adjustment done are wrong ?

Wrong information. Cylinder 1 should be in clutch side!

@@Checkpat Yes, the adjustment made on the film is unfortunately bad. To check the T1 and T2 cylinder, unscrew the candles and see for yourself where the GMP(TOP DEAD CENTER) of the piston in the bottom cylinder is. zapodaj.net/1506958980ed8.jpg.html..... Cylinder 1 is the left cylinder if you're sitting on the bike (clutch lever side). Cylinder 2 is on the right if you're sitting on the bike (brake lever side).

Nice, carpark mechanics ftw! Gives me confidence to attempt valve clearance check+adjustment on my bike. (Nice to see the KTM 690 Duke at 3:00 in the background.)

I'm a owner of a NC700X 2012, in my case the T1 is the one of the right sitting and T2 is the one of the left sitting, but I had the opposite idea before to make the adjustment. You should to check if the valves have clearance after you put the flywheel on T1 or T2 mark, if the 4 valves of one side are loose, these ones you need to adjust, you shouldn't adjust the 4 valves of one side that are tight.
