To check the T1 and T2 cylinder, unscrew the candles and see for yourself where the GMP(TOP DEAD CENTER) of the piston in the bottom cylinder is. zapodaj.net/1506958980ed8.jpg.html..... Cylinder 1 is the left cylinder if you're sitting on the bike (clutch lever side). Cylinder 2 is on the right if you're sitting on the bike (brake lever side).

I'm a owner of a NC700X 2012, in my case the T1 is the one of the right sitting and T2 is the one of the left sitting, but I had the opposite idea before to make the adjustment. You should to check if the valves have clearance after you put the flywheel on T1 or T2 mark, if the 4 valves of one side are loose, these ones you need to adjust, you shouldn't adjust the 4 valves of one side that are tight.
WRONG The T2 is the other one!!! You will break your bike!!

Nice movie. But there is a mistake. The T1 cylinder is the one on the left sitting on a motorcycle, the T2 is the one at the throttle grip.!!!
