When I get hungry at MK I walk towards the front of the park, hang a right, get on the monorail, and go to Epcot. 😂
I would love to see an updated $3,000 or $5,000 trip to Disney World video with updated pricing to see examples of what different trip styles may accomplish within a set budget! The last videos like this were awesome but are a bit older and prices sure have changed, it would be great to set expectations of what a trip may look like within a defined budget!
She won’t do it because it would look bad for Disney. Prices have skyrocketed. We have a family of 4 and it’s going to cost us about 7k this year not counting airfare. For 6 days. That’s staying on property and eating Disney food. Two years ago I took 7 people for 6 days for less than 9k.
@@patm95personnaly for 2 we got great deals, for park tickets and hotel 7 days we paid like 1800$ total
I am a party of two. Costing over $3500 for Sunday to saturday
Me and my wife did a Monday/Saturday trip for just under 4k in 2023 for Halloweekend... Not counting airfare but that wasn't horrible.
If you are okay with All-Star rooms and taking the bus systems most of the time, we were able to keep it reasonable. It just requires a lot of preparation and know-how and that's not everyone's strength. Luckily, my wife grew up with a family that went almost every year during her childhood! 😆
My wife and I did a 7 day trip for 3800 in 2022. We stayed at shades of green and had 5 day park hopper military discounted tickets. Now I would imagine for 2 or more kids you’re looking at the 5k range or more imo. We’re going back in July 2025 but this time we’re trying to be under 3k for 6 days. I do agree thought, the prices are crazy.
We plan a 6 day trip this summer. I have the feeling it’s going to be our last for a while since Epic Universe opens next year. And what new things Disney has “planned” don’t excite us much.
7 days to Orlando! can't wait for it anymore!
Flying in from Seattle, I prefer to get to hotel late afternoon, early evening. Room is ready, time to decompress after a day off travel. Get room organized, go for dinner and can get up next am ready to go!
Same! We get in mid afternoon and relax. We also leave early evening. Gives us time to just wake up without an alarm and relax before our flight home.
That's perfect! I'll be staying 11 nights in may with a 7-days park ticket, can't wait!
Same!! But mine is in April
How much does something like that cost?
I think EVERY ride in WDW should have a virtual queue if the standby line is greater than 30 minutes. I realize having a lot of guests in line will reduce the crowds in walking paths, but I'd so much rather walk around and explore other things while waiting for my group to be called than to wait in a 60+ minute line.
Noooo I loveeeee tough to be a bug! I remember me and my kiddo did that our first trip and the part that the “bug” is under your butt made him JUMPPPP so high!!!! It was hilarious 😅😅😅😅
We also LOVE tough to be a bug. What a hoot!
You definitely either love it or hate it! HAHAHA!
@@DFBGuide True!!
If I'm staying for 6 days, I feel that MK is the perfect park to do over 2 of them. There is simply too much to do in one day.
Same with me
My brother (who makes magic) refuses to do Disney World longer than 5 days. If you want to do a pool/non-park day, it should be the day you arrive. Especially if you stay at a deluxe resort, you're basically throwing away $400+ for the privilege of swimming, if you're not visiting a park.
Actually, I would gladly settle for "semi-ultimate"... and you are NOT an "old lady" AJ! (That would make me truly ancient!)
loved our 8-night, 6 park-day trip in December. But, I dont plan on doing an extended stay at Disney World again until they either add numerous new attractions, lands, or even a 5th gate. And it's not looking promising on any of those fronts any time soon.
Going for extended stays in 2019 and then again in 2023, the sticker shock between the 2 trips was absurd.
Sweet - going for 6 days in April/May! Great timing. Thanks AJ & Team!!
Have so much fun! ❤
Thank You Script Writer Extraordinaire!@@dfbbreea
Me too! I’m celebrating my 30th birthday also end of April to beginning of may!
me too
I will be there May 3-8 to celebrate my 30th, too!
AJ and gang, our family loves your videos! They're SO helpful, SO informative, and SO entertaining! We've been watching for a few months now as we get ready for our trip. Thank you!
Magical Tips! Just stumbled upon this gem for planning a Disney World trip! AJ's insights are gold - from maximizing rides to dining recommendations. The QR code for planning worksheets is a game-changer!
We just got back. Had an awesome time, and DEFINITELY could have used this video a week ago. Great job!!
Yes, wish this video was out a week or more ago. Could have really used it.
Doing a week in just about 365 days! We expect to skip over to All Tech Speedway to take in the Sunshine Swing series for a few nights!
Love this style of video AJ, very unique!
My family and i are going to Disney this spring break and this helped so much thank you! Love your videos❤
That really was a fun video. Not even close to my plans but still totally fun😊👍😎🌞✨ thanks AJ and dfb
what a fun video! loved going to wdw with you, aj. ❤
So fun. We will be there this weekend. 👏👏👏
We always arrive around 10am from our flight, have them hold our luggage, then go straight to AK. It's a good first day park when you can't get a super early start.
Winnie the Pooh Fans: You may be able to meet Pooh at Christopher Robbin's Room [the entrance is in the very back of the UK Pavilion]. EPCOT is underrated for its character meet-n-greet options. I feel like lines to meet most characters are shorter at EPCOT than in other parks.
and let's not forget about The Seas with Nemo and Friends Themed Queue is Underrated too.
Mexico Donald thou
I’m so sad about It’s Tough to be a Bug and Dinosaur leaving. What fantastic and unique attractions. Disney always tones down or removes their scarier attractions and it’s such a shame. Lots of kids like that kind of things as do adults. That’s the main reason I’m more of a Universal fan personally.
I love your videos! We are going to Disney for the first time in Nov and these are so helpful!
We got 7 days planned for June! Little ones can’t wait! Like others said, we are probably skipping Disney next year so we can go to the new additions to Universal. Greetings from Texas!
Love love your videos!
No mention of Casey's Corner? We always love stopping by and grabbing the special dog, get snack for the family! We also love going to the Food & Wine Festival and grazing, HOPING it happens during our trip this year, first week of August!
We are doing a shorter 5 day trip this year. We stayed 10 days last year and did everything multiple times. So no rest day on our 5 day trip, we will do Magic Kingdom twice and the other parks once each
We just got back from a quick weekend trip and took AJ’s advice to mobile order Casey’s for after the fireworks! Worked out perfectly. Going in September again for a longer trip 😍
Just went to Disney for the first time ever with my wife a two daughter Jan 10-17 and now I’m hooked thanks for the years of info and tips you guys help so much. Now wife and I have already planed are next vacation 🎉
This is exactly the video I needed! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
We like to got 8 nights with 6 day park hopper tickets. 3 days then a rest day then 3 days. We stay at Value or Moderate resorts and never plan anything for arrival or departure day so we don’t risk delays upsetting the flow.
My last trip in 2022 was just a few months before lightning lanes and Genie + fancy ride upcharging and standby line freezing changed everything. Park hopping is expensive but it really opens up many options for early dinners at Epcot with the ability to go back for MK fireworks.
Yep -- I love that freedom to be a bit more spontaneous, too.
Great video!
perfect video..booked 6 days for April!
Im going in two weeks! Four nights in disney plus extra evening hours and other 3 days for seaworld and universal studios! First time since my toddler days for my Quincinera trip so excited!!!
I like to do several days in the water parks...on a park hopper plus ticket...to rest just hangin' in the lazy river...
I remember going to Liberty Tree Tavern when it still had Character dining. We got a group picture with all the Characters that were at the Restaurant!
You guys are mind readers. Literally going on a 6 day trip in September and was starting to make plans.
I did a 5 day stint in 2023 and wish I had one more day. Epcot to start on a Monday. Ease into the rides / attractions, great food and nice Firework show. Tuesday/2nd day was MGM. More hustle and bustle with rides and packed park. Also get to end it with Fantasmic. Wednesday was Disney Springs, hotel hoping and Boardwalk. Thursday was Universal (both parks, which is a lot and ramped up thrills and rides). Friday was Animal Kingdom in the morning (both Avatar rides and Everest) before closing it out at MK and Happily Ever After to end the trip. I think MK first for people who never have had their Disney vacation but I personally believe it's the best last day park.
Going for the first time this year!
We were just there in December and plan on going back December 2025 but this video is really making me want to move the trip up a few months. Damn u DFB lol
Yeah, sorry AJ- but if I’m at Epcot I’m not going around that lake twice. 😂 I eat at the booths While I visit the pavilions.
Sweet. I will have 5 days this year, so this might help a lot
7 day Honeymoon planned for June!!!
How exciting! Where are you staying? 😊
Were so happy we found your channel, thanks for posting this. Its very helpful. We have a question, Did you do a meal plane during this 6day stay? what resort did you stay in? is there a download of A travel itinerary that you have for this 6day stay that we can get? sorry for all these questions hope to hear back.
The wife and I are going back in July 2025 and we’re doing either 6 or 7 days but only 4 days at the parks. I’ve learned I need at least a day or two of hotel rest on the feet after my last visit lol .
I would love to see a video of Disney work plus cruise in one trip :)
AJ, how did you know our schedule? Almost the exact same for us except we are going to switch AK for HS since we will be there during the week of Christmas in 2025 and will eat at the 50's diner on Christmas day. Love you guys.
First would never take a break day. I'm there for the parks. Also I always end my trip with a 2nd day at magic Kingdom. Just want to see the castle one last time.
Do you guys have a video on HOW to do all the rides at magic kingdom in one day!?!
I’d like to throw Sebastian’s Bistro in the mix for a first day dinner. It was so delicious, a pretty good value, and easily accessed via the Skyliner.
It has gotten SO much better in recent years!
Paying for a lightning lane for Tron is NOT worth the 10 second ride IMO.
When I was in line for its a small world at Disney world a couple people held up those cutouts with those things telling the people in line to do things and I did them.I also like a
quick-survice restaurant that I don’t remember the name of so I’m just gonna call it ye old Pinocchio restaurant
8:30 bring back the lighthouse sandwich
We go for 10 days every year. We do have a break day in there to sleep in and rest our feet but we love it so much that anything less than 7-8 park days is not enough 😍😍
Wow you must be rich
@@CarolCityCane305 We just plan for it. We’re comfortable and there’s nothing wrong with that.
@@DebiDan wasn’t saying it to be rude I’m here struggling to get a 2 park 2 night resort for the summer
@@CarolCityCane305 Understood ✌🏻
Just back from our 6 day trip....Forget Epcot....packed....crowds....couldn't get near anything with the packs....when there was a line out the door in Mexico for the leisurely boat ride we gave up and left.....was not fun at all....Lucky we didnt have park reservations as we ended up at MK for the 2 days instead of Epcot......and according to the crowd calendar this was the slower time of year...NOPE....Sad..
Same!! The crowds were insane!!! I was like what the hell! It’s supposed to be the slow season 😂
@@Dragonmoon334 Exactly why we went now instead of Dec as this was The SLOW time !!!! Hahahah not....
@@JJskiddy for real! I used my bounce back off to book the first week of December and saved over $1k I figured if we could do this crowd we can do the first week of December 🤣 I might regret it
@@Dragonmoon334 1st week was when we always went and for a few years was great time....but someone let the cat out of the bag of this time so we saw last week of Jan was slow....Nope....so as you we will be going back first week of Dec....right between Thanksgiving and Christmas.....will wave at you thru the crowds !!!!
Doing 8 day park hopper in June, I did have to laugh to myself when she said to take a break in the afternoon, ha!! NEVER!! lol, I’ve gone several times, never took a break! I’m getting my monies worth, I will need a vacation from my Disney vacation!! Lol
Good for you, Lori!!
I miss the Star Wars firework show at the end of the night at Hollywood studios
I so needed this video today. Months ago I had planned to go to Disneyland today....well, that turned out not to be a good idea...
Hollywood Studios after hours event was without a doubt the ULTIMATE way to visit that park.
Slinky dog dash was 120 mins wait in the day. For me? WALK ON
Star Wars RoR was 100 mins wait in the day. For me? WALK ON
Runaway Railway was 80 mins wait in the day. For me? WALK ON
Smugglers Run was 60 mins wait in the day. For me? WALK ON
If that is not the ultimate, well I don't know what is. We went on everything twice, with no queues, and it worked out to be about 20 hours of queuing if we'd of done it in the day.
I had only a 5-day Disney trip without a break in between. I avoided heavy-crowded nighttime scetaculars like HEA and Fantasmic! (lucky to see EPCOT Forever for my 50th birthday in November) and FoF Parade. I daw most shows I'm interested the most like Friendship Faire, Vacation Fun, and some other shows like Lightning MfQueen and 2 DHS Projection Shows I hadn't had time for, and met some old and new characters. Who knows when I could take a next Disney vacation? Could be after years waiting.
i needed this i have a 7-day ticket with my gf in april so i am trying to plan everything right.
I can go for 3 days just to get away from the NY scene, but I think ai need at least 8 days this year
Ohana is 10 out of 10. The food and sauces are amazing. They feed you till you can't eat anymore, then still try making you eat more.
I am doing a solo trip mid May, 8 days. This will be my 6th stay and 1st solo. If anyone has any advice for a solo trip, I am all mouse ears 😅
😂AJ, How about four and half days
For my AK day, I’d get Lightning Lane for the Na’vi River Journey because that line is BORING. With Expedition Everest and Flight of Passage, you at least have some things to look at and interact with, they’re almost a primer for the ride. NRJ, the line is just that - a line, and the highlight of the line is the water bottle filling station deep into the line.
No matter how long the trip is it is still so sentimental leaving
What - No Jelly Rolls! - One cannot go to Florida without seeing Scott and the gang.
Do you need a park ticket to have dinner at one of the parks?
In the middle of a 10 day right now 😊
i will be in WDW in 67 days was supposed to go a few days ago but had to postpone
You should do a video on the DAS pass.
Can you do one of these for universal???
We'll get it on the list!
@@DFBGuideI thought you only did Disney
I’m going on a 6-day WDW trip in two weeks.
when I went to Epcot, Sorren was 5 minutes. (Walk on Score!) so of course that was the first EVER ride (i dont count when i was 10 because i don´t remember any of it) I did. It made me cry (in a good way) do that first. Be BE impressive. (lame sorry i never got to be a cheer leader). I think i had Figment for myself. It was amazing (Scary) but amazing. I think there was only another person in another cart behind me, but we got a whole cart to ourselves. (i was scared near the end lol)
We just got back. We had 6 park days and it really felt rushed. It was extremely busy for January but what are you gonna do? lol we just booked our bounce back offer for 8 days so we don’t feel so rushed this time around. We barely saw anything in animal kingdom 😢 we did get all the rides done tho lol
How did you get your bounce back? Our Disney agent said they didn’t offer it anymore!
@@rnguyen2516there was a flyer in our room with it. But you can just call Disney within 7 days of your checkout and they’ll let you know the available dates.
@@rnguyen2516 also, my travel agent is the one who reminded me and booked it. She booked it yesterday for us. Maybe your travel agent is misinformed but if you haven’t been home for 7 days, you can call Disney yourself and book and get the offer.
Wait, will your magic band let you into the pool area if you haven’t checked in yet?
Soooooooo do you still have to sign up for the virtual que for tron for the after hours event or how does that work?
Update after my trip. You just stand in a physical que.
I always thought they should've added an Indiana Jones character roaming world showcase, but I suppose that'll be in Animal Kingdom now. 😅
I ate my way through Epcot, yesterday.
Ouch! I almost killed myself
So we don't need genie plus for epcot?
Does anyone know if the memory maker option includes pictures with the characters?
We almost always save magic Kingdom for the last 2 days. Everything builds up to that. 👍
I felt like he couldve went harder but definitely keep my eyes on him.
I want to go in 2026 when I turn 50 with my husband and daughter. I live in the Netherlands and would want to combine it with Universal and a lay-over in New York or Washington. Just saving up for that goal (or win the lottery).
Can you please do a disney with large groups again! I know there is one from years ago but that is so outdated as disney changes week by week 😊
I am a blog member. Got the download link for your disney checklists and when I click it, it just spins and spins. Never loads or displays your file
Might just be a glitch. If you’re still having trouble with it you can email us at support@dfbguide.com and we’ll send it to you!
@DFBGuide still not working. Will email.
taking the red eye , going to Epcot the first day and half a day in HS

Any reason for doing the parks in your order?
Honestly, there’s no wrong way to line up which Disney parks you want to do first/last. BUT we tend to like to kick-off our trips with Magic Kingdom OR end on a high note with it - since it tends to be the park folks are most excited to see 😊
@@dfbbreea thanks!
Of all the Disney parks, Animal Kingdom has the most relaxing vibe and closes the earliest [between 6pm and 8pm depending on the time of year]. In my opinion it's helpful to schedule AK for the first day of your visit [to kind of ease your way into the Disney crowds], or for a later day in your trip when you need a slower pace [like the day after Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios]. Like Brea said, there's no wrong way to line up your trip's park order!
When did Disney get so complicated
Oga's Cantina before leaving Hollywood Studios is a must!!
The Fuzzy Tauntaun will forever weird me out… but in the best possible way. 😜
So good!!! 😊
Couple other points IMO
its a shame you mention about breaking up the group for a shorter wait - the ultimate experience involves it being together - shame
And sideline point, why is everything so unhealthy? I ended up having to bring my own salads in every single day because there is no healthy food anywhere... even the coffee has cream cheese on.... no wonder every is obese and the park is taken up by those buggies
Space 220 is 220 feet above the earth? Feel kinda cheated lol
Hopefully the genie is back in its bottle before I take my family again.
$3500 min for a week
