Wow such a nice, clean, and straight forward tutorial! I can say as a bus driver…. I can definitely approve of the way you firstly did your local lines which are vital to each local community, but also the way you implemented your interconnecting line to make sure each area has an option! Its efficient 👋 amazing 💙
How can your passengers travel to other parts of the city though? You have your bus routes going in a loop, hence they are stuck in that area via the bus system. Just noticed this. For example, you have passengers from your residential area needing to go too the commercial area. You will need to set up a route from your residential to your commercial and vise versa including going into your industrial area. Otherwise everyone is stuck going in a loop in one area. I guess you're passengers can walk a very long way (over 5blocks) to get on another bus route area, but it's not ideal for the best city transportation.
I have recently gotten back into this game. Like a couple of nights ago. And, have I missed it! 😂 I played it when I had PS Plus and absolutely loved it, came back to the game after a year now. Started up a city this weekend. So far, enjoying your tutorial.
A bus depot only sends out buses to the lines, and to perform maintenance. This is pretty much the only function for a bus depot. A bus station is where your passengers can transfer between lines/routes, it's also where your bus drivers start and end their shift. Hope this helps
Uh, the reds aren't quite as purple anymore, are they? :D Yes, public transit is always so much fun in this game, I love creating bus & metro & tram routes especially ^-^ Trains are also really cool, though I have built most of my cities so far very concentrated, so i found it kinda not so necessary to use many train lines ^-^ Was all covered by metro anyway, sweet sweet metro. It's very interesting for me that there are so many different ways you can do your busroutes aswell. You can have for example one route that loops back on itself, or you can have two parallel routes going in opposite directions. You can spread out all your lines and have many spots where some meet, or you can have fewer central bus hubs where many different lines meet. Many different possibilities ^-^ I often fall kinda into my goto habits, because I am me, but eventually i would like to try all the different ways. Very nice video, beautiful bus ride at the end ^-^ Thank you
But i tested a lot of ways to earn money from buses but it is not possible every bus stop i have min 100 passangers max is 250 passanger even this condition i can not earn money from buses i used a lot of mods mods are also useless
@@luvratan4161 very weird I don’t have that problem but I do think there was an issue with the eco buses. For the bus depot use regular buses and see if that helps! Hope it works!
Best explanation of bus lines yet. Simple and with appropriate commentary.
Awe TY! So glad its helpful!

Yes I’ve been waiting for your approval! So glad I did it right! Thanks Valley! 😀
Beautiful scene right at the end with that mountain in the distance.
Awe thanks Dean!

@@Andy94921 you can have more then just a loop. People could take more then one bus.
lmao even your no-frills "time saving guide for noobs" city looks fairly good. can't wait to see more content form you :)
Awe thanks a lot I really do appreciate that! 😀
Your vids are very relaxing, Grahtles. I'm gonna watch the Brindelton playlist later. :)
Awe Thanks so much Gui! I'm so happy you enjoy them!
While this video helped tremendously, I have to say I could listen to your accent all day long. Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much Hagen 😃
I built a bus service to fix the d*ad person transport but it still shows me the same error?
so how can I fix the unalive person problem?
To be completely honest I never had that issue. The best advice I could give you is to google it. Sorry I can’t be more help.
@@Grahtles okay thanks
I resemble the "noob'" remark. Thanks for the tutorial.
Lol awe your so welcome!
nice video...thanks for the great info!

Thanks so much Spuds! 😀
Thank you, Lea Remini.
Don't lie and say you aren't her. I know your voice from watching King of Queens.
Well then Your Welcome! HaHa
organic word used in the first minute was enough for me, have you also managed to get people glueing their hands to your freeways?....
Sorry I’m late to the party! No joke, these guides you are making are so fantastic!
Awe thanks so much and no worries I’m trying to catch up myself! 😀
@@Grahtles I bet you there are a ton of players that will appreciate the simplicity of this and utilize it in their city.
@@JoyBuildsCities I really do hope so. I love this game so much and just hope that others can have the same experience.
I still have issues with the game wanting to put bus routes where I don't want them - is there a way to turn off the auto layout of bus routes.
Oh man that sucks I don’t think there is any way to turn off auto
Another great guide :)
Thanks my friend! 😀
@Grahtles but you can make routes from a depot can't you?
Yes
@@Grahtles so what point of not using depot bus routes.... Confused..
@@BOTG_Adventures not sure I usually put a bus depot in city center from there they can take that bus to all other areas but on the map

@Andy94921 omg you are absolutely correct I totally screwed that up and apologize wow totally wasn’t thinking
I still dont get difference between bust station an bus depot.
It’s a central hub for connections to all other areas on your map
very helpful thank you

Loved the Bus ride at the end. But aren't 26 Busses just a tiny little bit too much?
Thanks Chris! Oh and I will probably have to fine tune it a little bit, 26 is I think a bit much! 😂
Only if its less than 26 stops hehe :)
🤔🤣

Hi there is no bus shelter on my bus routes

@@Grahtles but i need money
@blackburnmichelson6189 well buses aren’t going to make money industries will bring in money especially oil.
bro residents dont come to the buses!!!!!
What do you mean I get tons of people using the buses in residential areas?
