Includes the Grammy winning track Drunken Milkmen
Mr Johnson and the Juice Crew, Outta Time, so many great time changes, not to metion the riffs and solos.
And performing in a chicken suit is legendary.
I'm only 14, yet I love these guys. Basically my dad was going through the garage of the house he grew up in, and he found a shirt of his with the word "scatterbrain" on it. Later that day I looked them up and here I am today listening to these guys while wearing a scatterbrain t-shirt with pride.

I actually saw Scatterbrain at a club in New Orleans when Scamboogery had just dropped, and they were phenomenal! I mean they were just crazy sick-tight. We were already fans of their previous album Here Comes Trouble, and they played just about every song from both. I'll never forget it because they came out dressed in drag for the encore, and proceeded to play a f'd up version of Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls" lmfao. It was unbelievable!
Ugly Kid Joe was the opening act, and they killed too! They were just starting out, and we all left that show big fans of theirs that night. Ahhhhh, the 90's.

They got over shadowed like a lot of bands by grunge and didn't seem to get recognized. This stuff would go over really well today imo.
It's too bad they didn't get the recognition they deserve. Not only do they have some serious chops, but they're far more original than 99% of the bands of that era.

It was WTSR for me. college radio. I forget the college but I remember the hosts “dan and the strutter”. It was in Mercer county nj if i remember correctly. But SOU was bigger. I been to their metal shows in Asbury Park. Ahhh memories right?

I bought the “ Here Comes Trouble” album back in ‘89 when vinyl records were discontinued. I think it cost less than $2- I loved the cover !

I just found my Scatterbrain CD a few days ago after years of not knowing where on earth it was. It is now in the CD player in my car. Eventually I shall have it on my phone...
My friend and I went to see them in Phoenix at a small club. We sat in the from and several seats were available at the long table we were at. Ugly kid Joe opened and a few of these guys came over and asked us if they could sit. We had a pretty good conversation and when UKJ was on their second to last song, they got up and “scattered”. Then about 30 minutes later here comes the guys who had sat with us. It was the guys from Scatterbrain 😂🤣🤣
I still have all their CDs and listen frequently. They were and still are awesome!

They put on great shows. The Bass player had 2, um, adult toys hidden under the dress he wore for the encore. He laid his bass down and drummed it with both of the, um, toys. I'd run out of film by that point and didn't get any pics.

Tried to get me on stage with a mic several times to jam then they asked me and my wife to stay and party with them after the gig and the club closed for the night. It was some place in NW Houston but I don't remember the name. We partied hard with "help yourself" draft beer until 5 or 6 in the morning. I DO remember that it was still dark when we left... It was an EPIC Night of partying. They were super cool and funny as hell. I'd love to party with 'em again if they're ever back in Houston...
