I was a roady for a local band in Springfield Virginia in the 90’s hanging out with the drummer he had this album I was turned on to this band excellent musicians went out and bought both scambugery and here comes trouble
Always was and am a fan of Ludichrist and Scatterbrain. Awesome musicians fun ppl and not a hint of ego. When they played in holland in 88 or so we hung out with them. Coolest ppl i ve met. two thumbs up.
I was listening to this band 20 years ago. Saw them live at Macquarie Uni. Radical band alright. Just popped into my head this morning for some random reason so I you tubed them. Flooding memories.
Bro, i remember someone givin me this album on tape in bethpage high school 1990-1994!!.. From nassau county Long Island N.Y!!!.... I still got it on tape!!!
this was over 20 yrs ago man... wowmissed this album. first time I ever saw Pearl Jam back in the day, Vedder was wearing a Scatterbrain T-shirt so I looked, found, loved the album and it lived in my Walkman for the whole ski season.
Amazing. A metal band that doesn't take themselves to seriously, but completely tears the hell out of a Mozart concerto in almost the same breath. Oh, the irony!
I saw Scatterbrain in Wollongong, Australia in about 1990! They were excellent! Great musicians and entertaining! I can't find much on them these days! Pity!!!!!
i saw these guys at a bar called blondies in detroit when they 'toured' for this album. blondies was a little bar on the west side of detroit, about as big as 2 basements. it was an AWESOME fucking show
Same here, Gable. We are two of like 100 (at most) that were there. UKJ was awesome, but Scatterbrain left me floored. How they could play so technically was beyond me, in dresses with strap-ons underneath no less...
forgot all about these guys, i ran lights at a under age club in fitchburg mass [ club 490 ] years ago , big circus , krash palace , the place rocked to no end scatterbrains played in thier pajamas , we all remember the ski jump loading dock , grab a piece of cardboard and your dock martins you could get some air.
awesome band!!!!!! Saw many of their shows in the late 80's at Sundance Bay shore,NY. All about havin fun and moshin in the pit. Took guitar lessons from Paul Nieder, they were very cool ppl.
Thank you,, I'm not finding any of scatterbrains cd's or albums, It seems like unless I go on a real "fugitive" manhunt I will never find this stuff. IF YOU HAVE THEIR ALBUMS CAN YOU UPLOAD PLEASE, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT. Its rare stuff? thanks for this though!!!
Just in a nick of time, made their impression and disappeared before the grudge scene, awesome band, have them on vinyl, does anybody know if they are still around??
Not sure what they are up to now but Guitarist Glenn Cummings went on to jam with members of another one of my favorite bands of the time, The Hard Corps. When he joined up with them they were going by the name Stone Deep. They put out 1 album and 1 EP. Another great band.
It's more complicated, but I think one of the reasons that grunge got popular was that it was the anti-thesis of silly hair metal. Scatterbrain wasn't that at all, but they had more in common with it than they did with grunge. I wouldn't say the silliness brought thrash down, but if a band doesn't take it self somewhat seriously then neither will it's fans. Metal takes itself too seriously, but that's the nature of the beast. Can it be changed? Does it need to be changed?
@bloodpollution21 No,when I was a headbanger,I just want the guys playing fast loud and rude, and I was young enough to care not about an woman beside me.But if you really in doubt an had some intension to affront me,between "gay" and "dick" I am the last, but in a cold way.Pollution is everywhere in the web,you don't need to add scatterbrain
you got to be able to joke around though, and theres plenty of other bands that took it seriously. Its not like comedic bands like this brought down a genre. I take these comedic bands as, in a way, going against. They show that you dont always have to be serious, and that even comedy can be metal in ways, and that musical taste is taste...if you cant handle this then you are too serious. be open minded is the message i get from bands like these, and psychostick.
Unfortunately in retrospect, this album pretty much defines what was wrong with the aging thrash scene (silly lyrics, gang vocals, generic riffs). The fact that Scatterbrain didn't take anything seriously just exemplified that fact.
Ok, I love Scatterbrain, but I was hoping for an actual video. While I respect people trying to get others to listen to these bands, I HATE fake vids. So I'm a little confused at this point. Great Scatterbrain. lame "vid".
Listened to much Hanna Montana? Of course not, it's garbage. The Z in Hughstoned is where I heard these guys. Only on an outlaw radio station could they get airplay. Their tunes on HCT were sooooo tight, it made everybody else sound amateur.
This band is shameful,is terrible, gives me pain....I was a headbanger, but never confound me with these ridiculous beings.... "There is a fine line between living and being alive!" Oh,what a genius, what an idea to sing and cross the arms...help me please...
I was a roady for a local band in Springfield Virginia in the 90’s hanging out with the drummer he had this album I was turned on to this band excellent musicians went out and bought both scambugery and here comes trouble
I loved these guys back in day. Hugely underrated as a band and funny as hell. Can't understand why they didn't get the attention they deserved.
stoopidgy most underrated band ever. great musicians
Agree stoopidgy.....too clever for the masses. :-)
Thank-you. We didn't get the recognition that we deserved because Tommy is a lying, manipulative thief.
No more talented musicians needed. Drifters keep on drifting away from our fair city. And boy don't let the sun go down on your black ass
@@briancollins8167 what are you going on about.
Always was and am a fan of Ludichrist and Scatterbrain.

Coolest ppl i ve met.
two thumbs up.
I got this tape...yes tape! 90. fantastic! loved them for 20 yrs!
Had this tape about that time too. Forgot about them for 20 years. ... Great. Musically and artistically totally underrated and overlooked
Me too
Back in the early 90's, the Don't call me Dude video used to play in between bands at Harpo's Theater in Detroit. Loved these guys!
I was listening to this band 20 years ago. Saw them live at Macquarie Uni. Radical band alright. Just popped into my head this morning for some random reason so I you tubed them. Flooding memories.
Yeah.....very under-rated

+jason johnston everything about your comment is so amazing
This band was ahead of their time!
This album is just essential. BRING ME BACK MY 90's !!!!!!!!
The power of that chunky riff, man.
I remember an add for the free cassette in Hit Parader magazine & I ordered it. Loved them!
A few months back I found their last EP at a used cd store. I was quite excited!
rocked this back in the day... what a blast from the thash....
Amazing. A metal band that doesn't take themselves to seriously, but completely tears the hell out of a Mozart concerto in almost the same breath. Oh, the irony!
Love the awesome guitar riffs & drums on this.
incredible musicians
I saw Scatterbrain in Wollongong, Australia in about 1990! They were excellent! Great musicians and entertaining! I can't find much on them these days! Pity!!!!!
3rd best song on the album, behind Here Comes Trouble and Dude. These guys were awesome...
I remember this when it came out.... grrrreat stuff......'Dude!"
I had this album and someone came in my room and took it !! Great tunes
This album is awesome.
saw these guys live inPerth WA ... unforgettable ... huge ... gig ... circa 19something !!!
Thanks for the insight Brian, you are obviously a particularly nasty vulgarian ...
Nice stuff,takes me back..
This song always reminded me of Zaphod Beeblebrox. The BBC version, but it fits the movie too.
Amazon.com had them when I bought mine. I originally had tapes of this and Scamboogery.
Had this CD. Lost track of it during a move years ago and haven't found it yet. :(
Never heard of these guys!!!! But I like them!!!
i saw these guys at a bar called blondies in detroit when they 'toured' for this album.
blondies was a little bar on the west side of detroit, about as big as 2 basements.
it was an AWESOME fucking show
It's bad enough to have 2 heads, but it's worse when one's unoccupied!
like Zaphod Beeblebrox lol
I just sit at home feed & bathe my head, wishing waiting wishing waiting for the day i'm dead.
Fucking awesome I absolutely love these guys excellent musicians
incredible band that didn't get the love!
i saw them at the pipe dragon in buffalo ny when they were ludichrist, with dayglo abortions. i miss shows like that!
I saw these guys with Ugly Kid Joe at Fitzgeralds in Houston back in 1991
Same here, Gable. We are two of like 100 (at most) that were there. UKJ was awesome, but Scatterbrain left me floored. How they could play so technically was beyond me, in dresses with strap-ons underneath no less...
Best review of not just Scatterbrain but any band, ever :)
Really? Only 445 people dig this!! WTF?
C'etais vraiment fort, cet album la. Je m'en cherche une nouvelle copie depuis longtemps, mais ca ne se trouve plus nulle part :(
forgot all about these guys, i ran lights at a under age club in fitchburg mass [ club 490 ] years ago , big circus , krash palace , the place rocked to no end scatterbrains played in thier pajamas , we all remember the ski jump loading dock , grab a piece of cardboard and your dock martins you could get some air.
Haha I remember the 490 days!
OS CARAS SÃO ÓTIMOS , TOCAM UM ROCK PESADO DE PRIMEIRA E COM BOM HUMOR, O QUE HÁ DE ERRADO NISSO, EU ME AMARREI, VIDA LONGA AO ROCK AND ROLL.
hahaha fuk ya...I remember when this came out. 90's the best.
awesome band!!!!!! Saw many of their shows in the late 80's at Sundance Bay shore,NY. All about havin fun and moshin in the pit. Took guitar lessons from Paul Nieder, they were very cool ppl.

Here Comes Trouble is on itunes
Primus and Scatterbrain, two of the most underrated bands ever!
+Edu Edu I can agree with SB but how are Primus underrated?
That's awesome!
Just in a nick of time, made their impression and disappeared before the grudge scene, awesome band, have them on vinyl, does anybody know if they are still around??

🤘❤️🤘
This Band is cool, how come I never heard of them before? Sounds like Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Faith no more meets The bad Brains
It's more complicated, but I think one of the reasons that grunge got popular was that it was the anti-thesis of silly hair metal. Scatterbrain wasn't that at all, but they had more in common with it than they did with grunge. Metal takes itself too seriously, but that's the nature of the beast. Can it be changed? Does it need to be changed?
Often dismissed as a "joke" band, but in their best moments up there with Faith No More as a 90's influencer ...
Was it this track that got featured on Beavis and Butthead in one of their headbanging sessions?
cd scatterbrain this alnbum is really scarce now
Got it on vinyl..and cd...
i laughed at them...and i laughed at God. That says it all.
lol that pic haha .... but they rock=)

it's scamboogery...i liked here comes trouble better..very talented band!
@gmabsetiawan99 No problem duder scooter
@excapt583nbfd word. I did the same - COOL! Love this band!!!

Welcome to the world of a new kind of Karma where we don't wait 'til you're dead - Reincarnation will come later, for now you get this head instead.
THIS IS MY ENGLISH TEACHERS BAND!!! NO SHIT!!!
Scatterbrain only had 2 or 3 music videos. Sorry bro, "lame" comment.
don't call him duder
J.D. Vance’s song to Trump! 😂
Unfortunately in retrospect, this album pretty much defines what was wrong with the aging thrash scene (silly lyrics, gang vocals, generic riffs). The fact that Scatterbrain didn't take anything seriously just exemplified that fact.
@ligiamalavolta Cool story bro
Huh?
12 dislikes? I didn't know Justin Bieber fans could use a computer??......
...some kind of mold or...
Calm down little guy, you mad or something?
lagwagons more pennywise style
Ok, I love Scatterbrain, but I was hoping for an actual video. While I respect people trying to get others to listen to these bands, I HATE fake vids.
So I'm a little confused at this point. Great Scatterbrain. lame "vid".
Who would buy the trash they are serving, when there is real music around?
This band got Ramoned. No body else could touch them, so they shunned them.
Listened to much Hanna Montana?
Of course not, it's garbage.
The Z in Hughstoned is where I heard these guys. Only on an outlaw radio station could they get airplay.
Their tunes on HCT were sooooo tight, it made everybody else sound amateur.
nope, not ever
This band has influenced everyone 'original' since Faith No More started ripping them off..
Ummm FnM was around before them.
Also faith no more was on another level. In talent and creativity and evolution. I love scatterbrain but the two don't even compare
This band is shameful,is terrible, gives me pain....I was a headbanger, but never confound me with these ridiculous beings....
"There is a fine line between living and being alive!"
Oh,what a genius, what an idea to sing and cross the arms...help me please...
Shut up...
criminally underrated
