    Loved loved loved this recipe. Thank you for posting it. I àdded walnuts and cinnamon to mine. I have been using Flaxseeds in smoothies and even just ground flaxseeds with water, as a drink. So, these cookies are almost decadent. Will be making these regularly!

    👍I skipped the almond flour for allergy reasons just used more ground flaxseeds (I don’t like the texture / flavor or coconut flour) and it still came out great. 😁 I may try it again with psyllium husk & ground flaxseeds. Thanks for sharing the recipe & demo. I’m going to try modifying this with all kinds of variations including a lemon version & a cacao version. 🤗💞🤗

    Thanks for the great recipe....I am going to try these cookies in the dehydrator instead of baking... to preserve the delicate oils in the flax. The Smoke point of flax oil is 225 degrees F.

    Ma'am, I am adding 20gm of flax seed in my cookies. I first roast the flax then blend it to make it powder. Is it safe to eat 2 cookies per day because everybody says raw flax seed is poisonous . Can you recommend anything about it

    Can a sugar free substitute be used, such as Stevia, or a Keto maple sytrup?

    Recipe looks simple an great.How will it taste with no maple syrup? Since I live in Thailand finding almond flour might be difficult. Can I make my own almond flour?

    • @morgank98
      @morgank98 5 років тому

      Yes, just grind up blanched almonds, if you grind up the ones with the paper shell it'll be more like almond meal.

      Maple syrup is really expensive. So I always make date syrup and use that.

    Is there a sugar free keto version, as flax and almond meal are very low in carbs?

    • @drarjan
      @drarjan  3 місяці тому

      I would make it with stevia instead or use banana. Is that keto? I make these cookies a lot now with olive oil, oats, banana and flax. Though, that might not be what you're looking for?

    • @drarjan

      I don't know how much 900 grams is, but sometimes I make these with a little or a lot. I just mix them in with whatever I want to make and bake away!

    Dr. Arjan.. flax is so sensitive to heat even the dry one.. Taking it as is is the best way to consume it or cold pressed oil

    • @cbrcoder
      @cbrcoder 8 років тому +4

      +Alia Bitar Not true. Grounded flaxseed can resist high amount of heat. And it is prefered to cook flaxmeal before eating because they contain tiny amount of cyanide. Google for more info.
