Hello to the select group of skincare-loving plant parents!! 🪴 Please enjoy me being far too comfortable in my 🐱 headband for 15 minutes haha Back to a planty video this weekend, don't worry 😁🪴🛋
As an Aesthetician, I give you top points for how you handle your skin using tapotement and the ring fingers to be super gentle. The barrier is called the Acid Barrier and what's key is that any product used on the face should not leave your skin feeling super tight--that means that your protective acid barrier has been all cleansed away. It can take about a half-hour for your pours to replace the barrier. Since the barrier is acidic, it helps to kill any germs or microbes that try to penetrate it.
Omg yesss! My 2 favorite things, plants and skin care!! I'm a licensed Esthetician and you did a beautiful job explaining proper skin care and the steps to get there! I also SWEAR by The Ordinary products and recommend as budget friendly options 🖤
You and your skin are amazing haha. Even tho I'm 63 and have no chance in hell of looking young lol I enjoyed this so much and could pretty much watch you do any kind of video. Happy New Year Alina!
Loved this!! Something about skincare videos is just so relaxing to me. Would love to hear some more SPF and retinoid recommendations! Keep up the good work, and happy new year :)
Self care is relaxing 🧖♀️❤ My #1 best SPF ever is Céll Fùsion C Cure Sunscreen 100 SPF 50+/PA++++. I am allergic to it now but it was absolutely amazing!!! The Ordinary also has some retinoids available. I haven't really used any that have a lot of added fragrances or additional benefits (like Drunk Elephant) I prefer to keep my treatments as clean and focused as possible!
Love this video, you have such amazing skin 😍 I also get eczema on my eyelids, I found the CeraVe healing ointment + their eye cream you mentioned worked wonders to clear it up & keep it gone! You can only get the baby healing ointment in Canada but it's almost identical ingredients & works the same. Would love to see more skincare videos!!!
Skincare-loving plant parent here! I use like 70% of the products you mentioned haha. I LOVE the Ordinary products. I too suffered from adult acne. Still battling the acne scars but I've come a long way.
Thank you so much for this! I have been looking forward to learning more. I suffer from mild eczema on my face in the same spots you mentioned and figured I was just doomed. This gives me so much hope! I will definitely look into the Clinique Moisture Surge line as well as Cerave. Thanks for mentioning the specific eczema cream you use also. The one I have is too strong for the face. This could be so helpful for me! Thank you again! 💗
Your skin is a dream. They now have a new cerave hydrating cream to foam facial cleanser! I know then old hydrating one didn’t foam, maybe that would help not dry out after you cleanse like you said.
@@barbara4944 I've heard good things!! Unfortunately I'm allergic to essential oils bahaha very sad or else I'd love to try it! All of my skincare smells like nothing sadly ☹
I was expecting more ordinary products since it's canadian. I swear by their squalene cleanser, niacinamide, argan oil and their acid peel. But I have a brown skin which is a decade older than yours. Whatever you are doing works for you!!
I do love all their products!! I have tried soooo many now 🤣 not many that have disappointed Yes I find once you find something that just works for you, you gotta stick with it haha and these have all been working for me since I had to ditch my k-beauty products last December with the allergies! Glad to hear someone else having success with the Ordinary too 😁
Great video! Plants & skincare are my favorite things. The Inkey List oat cleansing balm is great and super affordable $13 for 150 ml (sephora). If the ingredients are safe for your allergies, I highly recommend.
I prefer the natural/organic route when possible, and I love the Eminence skincare products, especially since they are biodynamic. Their Retinol alternative eye serum is amazing! I'm in my 40's and I have zero lines around my eyes or crows feet. They are expensive, but a little goes a long way.
No white cast! If you're on the hunt for the #1 best SPF though... it's Céll Fùsion C Cure Sunscreen 100 SPF 50+/PA++++ I'm allergic to it now haha but omg I brought like 5 bottles home last time I went to Korea.
The entire Laneige Water Bank line was my #1 favourite skincare for years!!! It's amazing! It unfortunately isn't fragrance free so I had to give it up to stop myself from getting hives every day 😫 haha but I still recommend it highly to anyone who can use it!!! Amazing product 😁
Hi there, I'm Reggie, just wanted to say that Plants and Skincare 🥰 are my two obsessions! I love the idea of getting both kinds of content from your channel. Thank you. Greetings from Tijuana Mexico 🤗
I wish!!! It used to be 100% K-beauty pre-allergies haha. If you're looking for a good K-beauty line, Laneige makes your skin feel absolutely dreamy! I miss it every day!
I just picked up many of the products recommended here and also the Great Barrier Relief! Have either of you tried I’m From Rice Toner? I’ve heard good things about it as well. 🤔

🥰 glad to hear I'm doing it right from a pro!!
You have such beautiful skin. I literally just ordered almost all the products you use! Lol
Thank you so much 🥰 I hope they work great for you too!!!

4:57 OMG😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mom got some honorable mentions😂
🤣🤣🤣 now to sit back and wait to see if she actually watches my videos!!! hahaa
So thankful I found your channel. Fragrance free skin care and plants. Besos from Washington state.
Do you have stock in Clinique? 🤣🤣. Thanks for the video! Your complexion is gorgeous
🤣🤣🤣 only the backup stock of products I have in my cabinet hahahaa but honestly I should at this point

Oh I need to test it out!!! I don't think I've tried it!
Really enjoyed this. Thank u for the timestamps ♥️
Everyone is sleeping on that Clinique Take the Day Off Balm. Worked in skincare and used A LOT. TTDOB is affordable top shelf performance.

It was a terrible experience! I can't believe years of birth control pills caused my hormones to blow up on me like that hahaa glad it's gone now 🥳
I have been waiting for this ♥️
I love both!

I'm SO happy to share to help my fellow eczema sufferers!!! My dermatologist is honestly incredible and has saved my poor skin more than once haha

Omg! I need to check that out 😍😍😍
Clinique is great but I've currently got hooked on Mad Hippie...love natural products.
I tried Mad Hippie and liked it as well, but it has very strong fragrance which can irritate sensitive skin. Do they have fragrance-free items?
@@ZoeMcDash I'm not sure. The ones I'm currently using just smell like the essences of fruit maybe? They don't smell "perfumey"

@@PlanteriorDecorator Skin care proucts are challenging. You find something that works, doesn't piss your skin off, and cling to it for dear life! Lol

Wow!!! THANK YOU for this vlog! Definitely learned a lot!!!❤️
Plants and skin care👍🏾 Does your mom watch your videos 😆
My 2 favourite passtimes 😍
I honestly don't think she knows how to use UA-cam bahaha
I love this! Thank you!! Skin care loving plant parent over here!! 💗

It looks like it is safe!! I will certainly be giving it a try after I run out of this one 😁 thanks for the recommendation!

I have a friend who uses Eminence and loves it!
They use essential oils so I am allergic to their products, but I have heard the quality is great.
Lol yay!! 😍 Thanks for making the video
Hehe you're welcome!!! 🐱
Great job, I agree with your face routine.
Clinique is the BEST!
I agree!! The moisture surge line is incredible!
I'm a sunscreen junkie and I've never tried that papa honey one. Gonna have to look for it!
Is there a white cast?
No white cast! If you're on the hunt for the #1 best SPF though... it's Céll Fùsion C Cure Sunscreen 100 SPF 50+/PA++++
I'm allergic to it now haha but omg I brought like 5 bottles home last time I went to Korea.
Have you tried the Laneige water mask? I think it’s korean and you would really enjoy it. www.sephora.com/product/water-sleeping-mask-P420651

Jesus what a routine indeed🤩🤩 I would def. NOT call it basic 🤣
I really want to use Clinique and Cera Ve but they aren’t cruelty free!!!
Great video!
Oh my god I've never seen anyone else who is allergic to bronopol!!
Contact dermatitis gang 👀
Thx for this video. Very informative.
Thank you! This is great!
Excellent!!!

Hello Reggie! 2 of my favourite passions too 😁❤ thank you so much!! I was worried about posting something other than plants, so I appreciate it!
I was expecting a 100% kbeauty routine 😅. But you're glowing so keep it like that, it's working
I wish!!! It used to be 100% K-beauty pre-allergies haha.
If you're looking for a good K-beauty line, Laneige makes your skin feel absolutely dreamy! I miss it every day!
Have you tried Krave Beauty? It has good really good products, specially the great barrier relief, and it's also fragrance free
I actually haven't but I have been meaning to!! I have followed Liah Yoo for years!
That product is fantastic, it's saving my skin
I just picked up many of the products recommended here and also the Great Barrier Relief! Have either of you tried I’m From Rice Toner? I’ve heard good things about it as well. 🤔
