I've ridden the SRR numerous times. It never gets old. Great experience for all kids 1 to 100. And the Santa Express is not to be missed. A real good time for all!
Visually this is stunning. Agree Sound in mostly wind noise - but in the second half up close the machinery noise and limited human noise is exceptional. Uncertain what I want to do with the human that sounded a car horn at one pont.
Visited Strasburg RR a couple years ago. A bucket list event. Everyone should visit there or Steamtown - see how all our ancestors traveled just 70 short years ago. Fantastic!
Great video.. I've been on that line but during the summer. The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania across from the Strassburg station is excellent. Thanks for posting The Cherry Hill stop is about 1 3/4 of a mile from the main station.

Cool video of Strausburg railroad in winter
Way awesome scene people. amazingly well kept.
Video is great! Sound...well, a lot of wind noise, but one can reduce to volume or turn it off altogether
Thanks for posting!!

We stayed at the Train Motel. Every Unit is a train! Ours had the Hot Tub. It is the Honeymoon Suite!
It's called The Red Caboose Motel. There are like 30 trains to stay in. Affordable too!

They were farming with horse drawn equipment!! It was cool!

Hello from Strasbourg in France!
In the past we also had a lot of snow ...
The only bad quality was the audio... needed some mic protection against the wind.
This is an outback RR , out and back !!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺😄😄
Nothing like a steam engine on a cold winter morning.
Coal train makes stream
the best way to deal with snow like that is to move down south:)
beautiful
I know this was posted a while back just wondering why they are not using the steam to melt the ice on the blade
This just so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Hope to revisit Strasburg train museum again real soon... preferably in the summer months.
Nice
Why did it stop
Во,паровоз пыхтит,евро9!
What bad quality? It looks great!
The audio like he said!
@@contender730 it states 'video' not 'audio'
I thought they would be using a snow blower! The snow plow does not seem to be shedding very well! That is quite a scene!!
Wet, heavy snow plus they need more speed. Plows love to derail at grade crossings, so I understand the slow speed.
First I thought, a steam loco 2-14-14, that's impossible. Then I came to and realized it was the date. Am I the only one?
Yep, I wondered how deep that snow really was to need that engine...
Hiring a snow plow to clean my kitchen freezer sounds like a good idea. What do you think about?
WOW.
Boa tarde

What country is this in?
Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

With all do respect what do people think it's gonna sound like in the middle of winter on this open land a disco ?
